UPDATE: Nielsen released an addendum to the original list for this week which included the numbers for the Christmas Day premiere of 'Wonder Woman 1984' on HBO Max. That program led the weekly streaming ratings with 2.25 billion minutes of watch-time in its first three days, beating out the other major premiere, Disney+'s 'Soul' which had 1.67 billion.
The much-anticipated Christmas Day Disney+ premiere of Pixar's 'Soul' did not disappoint in the ratings. The movie took the top spot in the weekly streaming list with about 1.67 billion minutes of watch-time. This number also only accounts for 3 days of the week (it was released on Friday) in comparison to Netflix's 'The Office' which logged 1.44 billion minutes in 7 days. Elsewhere, Netflix's 'Bridgerton' launched on Christmas and scored very strong numbers with over 1.2 billion minutes of watch-time in its first 3 days, enough to rank third on the week. Also of note, Disney+'s 'The Mandalorian' ranked fifth (1.02 billion) in the first full week after its season finale. This was the first week since Nielsen began releasing streaming data back in August that two non-Netflix shows made the top 10 as Disney+ placed two programs and HBO Max placed one.
