DVR Ratings: Week Ending April 16, 2017

Below are the DVR ratings for the week ending April 16, 2017. There are three charts below: the first includes Live+3 day time-shifted data for all programs that aired on the broadcast networks, and the second includes Live+7 time-shifted data for available broadcast programs, and the third includes Live+7 time-shifted data for programs that aired on cable networks. There are columns for both 18-49 increase and for total viewership increase and while many programs will have data provided for both metrics, some programs will only have data for one or the other depending on what was available.

Outlaw Country (WGN America): Ratings Recap

'Outlaw Country' was a relatively unknown show that aired on WGN America in early 2015. It aired a single episode of eight episodes. The show premiered to a 0.03 18-49 rating and 135,000 viewers, and concluded to a 0.06 rating and 125,000 viewers. The show's second episode had its viewership high (219,000) and 18-49 high (0.09).

Outsiders (WGN America): Ratings Recap

WGN America's 'Outsiders' premiered in January 2017 and was WGN's first new scripted series since 'Manhattan' premiered in July of 2014. The show premiered to almost 1.06 million viewers and a 0.33 18-49 rating. Season 1 averaged a 0.29 rating and 882,000 viewers. Season 2 premiered to a 0.27 rating and 932,000 viewers; and averaged a 0.21 rating and 772,000 viewers. The show aired a total of 26 episodes over the course of 2 seasons, concluding in April 2017.

The first chart includes ratings based on households (HH), adults 18-34, adults 18-49 (to two-decimal places), adults 25-54, and total viewers (presented in millions) while the second chart presents sub-demographic ratings (divided by gender) for adults 18-34 and adults 18-49. A third chart is also provided which includes persons-using-television (PUT) 18-49 data for each day of the week (except Saturdays). Note: most reruns are excluded from the chart below.

Bates Motel (A&E): Ratings Recap

A&E's 'Bates Motel' premiered March 18, 2013 to a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 3.04 million total viewers and remained stable above a 1.0 rating throughout its first season, and concluded to a 1.2 with 2.7 million viewers. A second season premiered in 2014 and averaged a 0.94 rating with 2.3 million viewers, a third season premiered in 2015 and averaged a 0.73 rating with 1.8 million viewers, and a fourth season premiered in 2016 and averaged a 0.55 rating with 1.45 million viewers. The fifth and final season premiered in 2017 to a 0.51 rating with 1.34 million viewers, and concluded to a 0.46 with 1.41 million viewers. The series aired a total of 50 episodes over the course of its five seasons.

Black Sails (Starz): Ratings Recap

Starz's 'Black Sails' premiered on January 25, 2014 to 846,000 viewers and remained relatively stable throughout its first season, hitting a high of 847,000 viewers, and concluding to a 0.28 adults 18-49 rating with 762,000 viewers. A second season premiered in 2015 to a 0.19 rating with a series-high 860,000 viewers and finished with a 0.20 rating and 668,000 viewers. The third season premiered in 2016 to a 0.27 rating with 843,000 viewers - on par with the two previous season premiered, but concluded to a 0.17 rating with 644,000 viewers. A fourth and final season premiered in 2017; it hit a series-low 340,000 viewers in week 2, and finished with a 0.17 rating and 568,000 viewers.
