Saturday November 24, 2018 Nielsen Finals

Coverage of 'College Football' between South Carolina and Clemson easily topped the Saturday cable ratings with a 0.97 A18-49 rating and 3.26 million viewers. The game was also atop the day in men 18-49 (1.24 rating), males 12-34 (0.83), people 18-34 (0.76), and people 25-54 (1.1). On Hallmark, 'Christmas Everlasting' saw the best W18-49 rating on the day, averaging a 0.78, the best P50+ rating (2.31), the highest viewership (3.52 million), and the second-best in F12-34 (0.52). Other basic cable entires on the day include A&E's 'Live PD' (1.9 million), Animal Planet's 'Pitbulls and Parolees' (749,000), Nickelodeon's 'Henry Danger' (981,000), and Ovation's 'Versailles' (101,000). Finally, on Reelz, 'Murder Made Me Famous' averaged 148,000 viewers, and 'Geraldo Rivera's Murder in the Family' had 185,000. 

Friday November 23, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'College Football' between Oklahoma and West Virginia, topped the Friday cable ratings with an impressive 1.56 A18-49 rating with 5.55 million viewers. The game also scored the best numbers on the day in men 18-49 (2.18 rating), males 12-34 (1.42), people 18-34 (1.12), and people 25-54 (1.8). Hallmark's original movie 'Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe' edged out a victory among women 18-49 (0.99), but ranked second on cable in females 12-34 (0.63), people over 50 (2.5), and total viewers (3.9 million). On A&E, 'Live PD' remained strong among W18-49 (0.66) as well as in total viewers (1.91 million), and on Discovery, 'Gold Rush' saw strength in M18-49 (0.73), P50+ (1.35), and viewers (2.35 million). Other notable programs include: Syfy's 'Z Nation' (448,000) & 'Van Helsing' (354,000), OWN's 'Paynes' (423,000), and HBO's 'Vice' (220,000). 

U.S. Social Content Ratings: 11/19 - 11/25/2018

ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' topped the social ratings for Thanksgiving week averaging 1.88 million interactions across the three major platforms. 'WWE Monday Night RAW' and 'WWE Smackdown!,' both on USA Network, took the second and fourth spots on the week at 1.67 million and 1.51 million interactions respectively. The '2018 Soul Train Awards' averaged 535,000 interactions, and Monday and Tuesday's episodes of 'The Voice' had 331,000 and 438,000. Finally, among scripted series, AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (570,000) and NBC's 'This Is Us' (428,000) were the only shows to make the top 10 .

Live +3 and Live+7 Ratings: 11/12 - 11/18/2018

NBC's 'This Is Us' topped the L+7 raw demo gains for the week ending Nov. 18, rising 1.82 to a 7-day 3.8 adults 18-49 rating. The series also had the third-largest viewership gain, up 5.33 million viewers to 13.81 million. At the top of the viewership gains; however, was 'Manifest' which jumped 5.8 million viewers to 11.9 million within 7 days of delayed viewing. 'Manifest' also had the highest percentage demo gain, rising 138% from 1.14 to a 2.72 rating. A new face was atop the percentage viewership gains, ABC's 'The Rookie,' which leaped 104% from 4.02 million viewers to 8.2 million. Over on the cable side, FX's 'American Horror Story: Apocalypse' ended two weeks of leadership by AMC's 'The Walking Dead,' edging out the latter in raw demo gains, up 1.1 vs. 1.08 in L+3. Among viewership gains, 'Dead' beat everything on cable, gaining 2.44 million viewers to 7.24 million. 

Thursday November 22, 2018 Nielsen Finals

Hallmark's original movie 'Christmas at the Palace' topped a very slow day on Thanksgiving cable, notching a 0.47 A18-49 rating with 3.27 million viewers. The movie also led the day in women 18-49 (0.63 rating), females 12-34 (0.38), people 18-34 (0.3), people 25-54 (0.69), and people over 50 (2.19). On ESPN, a 'College Football' game between Ole Miss and Mississippi State scored solid ratings in both men 18-49 (0.39) and males 12-34 (0.25), as well as 1.12 million total viewers. Over at Lifetime, original movie 'The Christmas Contract' managed a 0.2 rating in W18-49 and a 0.16 in F12-34 with 814,000 viewers, and at Reelz, 'Celebrity Page' had a 0.02 demo score with 64,000 viewers. Finally, WGN America's coverage of the 'McDonald's Thanksgiving Day Parade' found 114,000 viewers.

Cable Network Ratings: 11/12 - 11/18/2018

ESPN led the ratings among all cable networks for the week ending November 18, averaging 2.44 million viewers in primetime. Fox News took the second spot (2.29 million), MSNBC was in fourth (1.85 million), CNN ninth (1.05 million), HLN 44th (295,000), CNBC 51st (234,000), and Fox Business 74th (92,000). With help from holiday movies, Hallmark Channel's 2.14 million viewers were enough to take the third spot on the week among total viewers. Other networks averaging over 1 million viewers this week include: USA Network (1.19 million), History (1.14 million), HGTV (1.07 million), and A&E (1.05 million). 

Wednesday November 21, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Lakers and Cavaliers topped the Wednesday cable ratings with a 1.4 A18-49 rating and 3.69 million viewers, and the Thunder/Warriors game notched a 1.16 demo rating with 2.89 million viewers. Among men 18-49 and males 12-34, the two games were at 2.02/1.64 and 1.61/1.33 respectively. A Hallmark original movie, 'Reunited at Christmas' scored the day's best rating in people over 50 (1.99), a solid 0.62 in W18-49, and had 2.96 million viewers. On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' averaged a 0.52 W18-49 rating with 923,000 viewers, and 'Real Housewives of Dallas' managed a 0.33 rating in that demo with 629,000 viewers. Finally, on IFC, two episodes of 'Stan Against Evil' were at 0.05/0.04 in the demo and 178,000/141,000 in total viewers.

U.S. Social Content Ratings: 11/12 - 11/18/2018

Univision's coverage of the '19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards' easily topped the week among social media interactions, averaging 4.24 million Thursday night. USA Network's 'WWE Smackdown' took the second spot on the week with 2.05 million interactions, and 'WWE Monday Night RAW' was in third with 1.76 million. The 'CMA Awards' on ABC averaged 1.19 million interactions on Wednesday. Scripted series making the list this week include AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (952,000), the CW's 'Riverdale' (542,000), and NBC's 'The Good Place' (511,000). 'Riverdale' was the only program this week to have more of its social media interactions come from Twitter (319,000) over Instagram (220,000). 

Tuesday November 20, 2018 Nielsen Finals

Coverage of 'College Basketball' between Auburn and Duke, on ESPN, topped the Tuesday cable ratings with a 0.79 A18-49 rating with 2.17 million viewers. The game also led the day in men 18-49 (1.15 rating), males 12-34 (0.89), and people 18-34 (0.76). History's 'The Curse of Oak Island' had the day's highest rating in people 25-54 (0.98) as well as the highest viewership on cable (2.91 million). On USA Network, 'WWE Smackdown' notched a 0.85 rating in M18-49 with 2.16 million viewers, and on Comedy Central, 'Tosh.0' had a 0.38 in that demo with 550,000 viewers. Over on Bravo, 'Below Deck' scored the day's best rating among with W18-49 (0.7) with 1.4 million viewers and lead-out 'Flipping Out' had a 0.47 rating in that demo with 1 million viewers. 'The Challenge: Final Reckoning,' on MTV, had a 0.48 F12-34 rating with 736,000 viewers, and TBS's 'The Guest Book' had a 0.21 rating in that demo (0.40 in W18-49) with 1.02 million viewers. Finally, AMC's 'The Little Drummer Girl' managed a 0.04 demo rating with 232,000 viewers. 

Cable Network Ratings: 11/5 - 11/11/2018

Bolstered by coverage of the 2018 Midterm Elections, the cable news networks jumped to big numbers in the week ending Nov. 11. Fox News led among all cable networks, averaging 3.36 million viewers in primetime; MSNBC was in third (2.37 million), CNN took fifth (1.71 million), HLN was 47th (270,000), CNBC was 54th (204,000), and Fox Business ranked 63rd (148,000). Other networks averaging over 1 million viewers for the week were ESPN (3.04 million), Hallmark Channel (2.05 million), USA Network (1.16 million), HGTV (1.09 million), and TBS (1.01 million). 

Monday November 19, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's 'Monday Night Football' between the Chiefs and Rams absolutely dominated everything else on cable, averaging a huge 5.53 A18-49 rating with 16.61 million viewers. The game led in men & women 18-49 (7.67/3.42 ratings), males & females 12-34 (5.2/2.47), people 18-34 (4.49), and people 25-54 (6.48). Three hours of USA Network's 'WWE Entertainment' notched 1.22/1.13/1.02 ratings in M18-49 and were at 2.72 million/2.5 million/2.26 million total viewers. On VH1, 'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' scored a 1.32 W18-49 rating with 1.93 million viewers, and 'T.I. & Tiny: Family Hustle' had a 0.8 rating in that demo with 1.12 million viewers. Over at MTV, 'Teen Mom' was at 0.63/0.50 in W18-49 and F12-34 with 792,000 viewers, and 'Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant' was at 0.37/0.33 in those demos with 490,000 viewers. Finally, on HBO, 'My Brilliant Friend' found 128,000 viewers.

Live +3 and Live +7 Ratings: 11/5 - 11/11/2018

In a week without 'This Is Us,' NBC's 'Manifest' returned atop the Live+7 gains for the week ending November 11 in both raw gains and percentage gains. Among raw gains, the show rose 1.48 to a 3.08 rating among adults 18-49 (+148%), and 6.97 million viewers to 13.24 million (+111%). CBS's 'The Big Bang Theory' had the second-highest raw demo gain, up 1.68 to 3.98, and ABC's 'The Good Doctor' had the second-highest raw viewership rise, up 6.24 million viewers to 12.81 million. On the cable side, AMC's 'The Walking Dead' again edged out FX's 'American Horror Story' in both L+3 demo and viewership gains. The show rose 1.21 among adults 18-49 to 3.23, and was up 2.62 million viewers to 8.02 million.

Sunday November 18, 2018 Nielsen Finals

'The Walking Dead,' on AMC, topped the Sunday cable ratings, but fell to a new series-low in both the key A18-49 demo (1.8 rating) and total viewers (4.79 million). The program again led in both men & women 18-49 (1.87/1.73 ratings), males & females 12-34 (0.95/0.96), and people 18-34 (1.02) & 25-54 (2.27). A Hallmark original movie, 'Christmas in Evergreen' brought in the best P50+ rating (2.51) and the second-best total viewership (4 million) on cable. Among female-skewing programs, Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' had the second-best W18-49 rating (1.04) and had 1.86 million viewers; E!'s 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' notched a 0.88 rating in that demo with 1.23 million viewers; and TLC's '90 Day FiancÄ—' had a 0.8 with 1.79 million viewers. Elsewhere on basic cable, two premiere episodes of A&E's 'The Clinton Affair' were marginal at 0.21/0.20 in the demo with 1.1 million/1.04 million viewers, and parts 3 and 4 of Sundance's 'Jonestown' were remarkably stable from yesterday, averaging the same 0.11 demo rating with 437,000 viewers. On premium cable, HBO aired 'Last Week Tonight' (762,000), 'Camping' (273,000), & 'Sally4Ever' (142,000), while Starz had 'Outlander' (861,000). Showtime had 'Ray Donovan' (871,000), 'Escape at Dannemora' (397,000) and 'Enemies' (175,000). 

Saturday November 17, 2018 Nielsen Finals

Hallmark Channel's original movie 'Christmas at Graceland' took victory on a slow cable Saturday with a 0.66 A18-49 rating and 4.66 million viewers. The program also led in women 18-49 (0.96 rating), females 12-34 (0.52), people 25-54 (0.94), and people over 50 (3.2). The top airing of 'College Football' on the day belonged to Fox Sports 1's coverage of Indiana vs. Michigan which had a 0.86 M18-49 rating, a 0.54 in M12-34, a 0.45 in P18-34, and 2.27 million viewers. Parts 1 and 2 of Sundance's 'Jonestown: Terror in the Jungle' brought in impressive numbers for the low-rated net, averaging a 0.11 rating with 418,000 viewers, and the second part of Showtime's 'Shut Up and Dribble' had 95,000 viewers. Finally, Ovation's 'Versailles' was a speck at 0.01 in the demo with 93,000 viewers. 

Friday November 16, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Raptors and Celtics topped the Friday cable ratings with a 0.73 A18-49 rating and 1.82 million viewers. The lead-out game between the Bulls and Bucks had a 0.71 rating with 1.7 million viewers. The two games were at 1.1/1.04 ratings in men 18-49, 0.85/0.87 in males 12-34, and 0.69/0.71 in adults 18-34. On Discovery, 'Gold Rush' saw big numbers in M18-49 (0.75 rating), P50+ (1.34) and total viewers (2.38 million). Over at MTV, three episodes of 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.20/0.19/0.22 in W18-49, 0.18/0.19/0.20 in F12-34, and 532,000/560,000/613,000 in total viewers. Elsewhere, Syfy aired 'Z Nation' (531,000) and 'Van Helsing' (359,000), and Disney Channel had new episodes of 'Andi Mack' (894,000), 'Coop & Cami Ask the World' (834,000), and 'Raven's Home' (814,000). On premium cable, HBO aired 'Real Time with Bill Maher' (1.51 million) and two episodes of 'Room 104' (220,000/179,000), while Cinemax had 'Tales from the Tour Bus' (47,000).

Thursday November 15, 2018 Nielsen Finals

NFL Network's coverage of 'Thursday Night Football' led among all Thursday cable programs, averaging a 0.97 A18-49 rating with 2.84 million viewers. The game also walked to easy victories among men 18-49 (1.37 rating), males 12-34 (0.79), and people 25-54 (1.15). On MTV, 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' topped the day in women 18-49 (0.85), females 12-34 (0.79), and people 18-34 (0.79), averaging a robust 1.21 million viewers. A 'Jersey Shore: Friendsgiving' special was ay 0.45 in the demo, 0.54 in W18-49, 0.52 in W18-49 & F12-34, and had 786,000 viewers. Over at Bravo, 'Shah's of Sunset' notched a 0.42 W18-49 rating with 842,000 viewers, while on TruTV, 'Impractical Jokers' managed 0.28 in that demo with 564,000 viewers. Finally, two episodes of Sundance's 'Deutschland 86' airing early Friday morning at 12am and 1am, were at 0.02/0.01 in the demo and 100,000/45,000 in viewership.

Wednesday November 14, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Blazers and Lakers took victory on Wednesday cable with a 0.96 A18-49 rating and 2.07 million viewers. The game also had big returns in men 18-49 (1.45 rating), males 12-34 (1.05), and people 18-34 (0.88) & 25-54 (0.96) - leading cable in each of those demos. On FX, 'American Horror Story' led the day in both women 18-49 (0.87), and females 12-34 (0.74), averaging 1.83 million viewers overall. Over at Bravo, 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' was relatively strong at 0.64 in the W18-49 demo with 1.02 million viewers, but lead-out 'Real Housewives of Dallas' dropped to 0.36 in that demo with 599,000 viewers. Comedy Central's 'South Park' averaged 824,000 viewers, and out-delivered in male viewers over female viewers by a factor of about 3:1, scoring 0.74/0.27 ratings respectively among 18-49, and 0.64/0.22 among 12-34s. Finally, two episodes of IFC's 'Stan Against Evil' were at 0.05/0.04 in the demo and at 147,000/128,000 in viewers. 

Tuesday November 13, 2018 Nielsen Finals

USA Network's 'WWE Smackdown' dominated the Tuesday cable ratings averaging a 0.80 A18-49 rating with 2.31 million viewers. The program also led the day in men 18-49 (1.0 rating), males 12-34 (0.65), and people 18-34 (0.55). On History, 'The Curse the Oak Island' returned to a 0.66 A18-49 rating with 2.92 million viewers, and brought in solid numbers in M18-49 (0.83), adults 25-54 (0.97), and adults 50+ (1.72). Over at Bravo, 'Below Deck' led the day in the W18-49 demo (0.67) and had 1.35 million viewers, while at MTV, 'Challenge: Final Reckoning' led in F12-34 (0.52) and had 828,000 viewers. Elsewhere, TLC's 'The Little Couple', Bravo's 'Flipping Out' (827,000), and TBS's 'The Guest Book' were at 0.40/0.37/0.31 in W18-49 respectively, and at 1.35 million/827,000/864,000 in total viewers.

Live +3 and Live+7 Ratings: 10/29 - 11/4/2018

NBC's 'This is Us' topped the L+7 raw demo gains for the week ending November 4, rising 1.71 to a 3.82 rating in adults 18-49, and ranked second in raw viewership gains, up 5.15 million viewers to 14.04 million. ABC's 'The Good Doctor' rose 5.87 million viewers to 12.66 million, taking the top spot among viewership gains. Among percentage gains, 'A Million Little Things,' on ABC, led in both the demo and viewership gains. The show was up 129% from 0.79 to a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49, and up 102% from 3.31 million viewers to 6.67 million. In L+3 cable ratings, AMC's 'The Walking Dead' led in demo gains (+1.16) and viewership gains (+2.63 million) over FX's 'American Horror Story: Apocalypse' (+1.08/+2.12 million), breaking 'Horror's' 2-week streak on-top of cable. 

Monday November 12, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'Monday Night Football' between the Giants and 49ers topped the Monday cable ratings with a 3.45 A18-49 rating with 10.5 million viewers. The game also led in men & women 18-49 (4.81 rating/2.1), males & females 12-34 (3.24/1.57), and people 18-34 (2.81) & 25-54 (4.01). On VH1, 'Love & Hip Hop' had a 1.49 W18-49 rating with 2 million viewers, 'T.I. & Tiny: Family Hustle' had a 0.88 rating in that demo with 1.21 million viewers, and Bravo's 'Real Housewives of OC' had a 0.86 with 1.45 million viewers. Over at MTV, 'Teen Mom' notched a 0.72 W18-49 rating, a 0.54 F12-34 rating, and 910,000 viewers; while 'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant' was at 0.46/0.40 in those demos with 556,000 viewers. Finally, three hours of USA Network's 'WWE Entertainment' were at 1.22/1.08/1.03 ratings in M18-49, and at 2.76 million/2.45 million/2.14 million in total viewers.

U.S. Social Content Ratings: 11/5 - 11/11/2018

Coverage of the '2018 People's Choice Awards,' airing on 5 NBC Universal cable networks, dominated the week on social media. The awards show averaged approximately 5.27 million interactions, with the vast majority coming from Instagram (3.44 million). USA Network's 'WWE Monday Night RAW' slid into the second spot with 1.75 million interactions, while 'WWE Smackdown' ranked fourth with 1.24 million. The CW's 'Riverdale' was the top scripted series on the week with 1.5 million interactions, with AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (724,000) and ABC's 'Grey's Anatomy' (474,000) rounding out scripted entires. 

Sunday November 11, 2018 Nielsen Finals

AMC's 'The Walking Dead' topped the Sunday cable ratings with a 2.02 A18-49 rating with 5.4 million viewers, leading in men & women 18-49 (2.01/2.02 ratings), males & females 12-34 (0.93/1.15), and adults 18-34 (1.08) & 25-54 (2.56). In female-skewing programming, Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' ranked just behind 'Dead' in W18-49 (1.13) & F12-34 (0.72), TLC's '90 Day FiancÄ—' was in third in W18-49 (0.81), and Hallmark's movie 'Christmas in Love' was in fourth (0.77, 2.31 rating in P50+); in total viewers the three programs were at: 1.84 million, 1.68 million, and 3.66 million viewers. Elsewhere in basic cable was BBC America's 'Doctor Who' (710,000/0.37 in P50+), Lifetime's 'You' (526,000/0.28 in W18-49), and the series-finale of TNT's 'The Last Ship' (1.15 million/0.78 rating in P50+).  'The 2018 People's Choice Awards' averaged a combined 1.68 million viewers and a 0.59 A18-49 rating across the five networks it aired on. On premium cable, HBO aired new episodes of 'Last Week Tonight' (782,000), 'Camping' (246,000) & the premiere of 'Sally4Ever' (165,000); Showtime had 'Ray Donovan' (868,000), 'The Circus' (238,000), & the season finale of 'Kidding' (224,000); and Starz had 'Outlander' (870,000).

ESPN's coverage of 'College Football,' between Auburn and Georgia, took an easy victory on Saturday cable with a 1.24 A18-49 rating and 3.99 million viewers. The game also led in men 18-49 (1.59 rating), males 12-34 (0.94), and adults 18-34 (0.84) & 25-54 (1.51). On Hallmark Channel, original movie 'It's Christmas Eve' led in W18-49 (0.93), F12-34 (0.55), people over 50 (2.79), and total viewers (4.17 million). Elsewhere, Animal Planet aired 'Pitbulls and Parolees' (599,000), Oxygen had 'Criminal Confessions' (399,000), Nickelodeon had 'Henry Danger' (1.1 million), and Reelz aired 'Murder Made Me Famous' (178,000). Among low-rated cables was Showtime's 'Shut Up and Dribble' (108,000), Ovation's 'Versailles' (118,000), and TeenNick's 'Fresh Artist' (70,000).

A&E's 'Live PD' topped the Friday cable ratings, notching a 0.61 A18-49 rating with 1.78 million viewers. The program led the day in women 18-49 (0.65 rating) and females 12-34 (0.42). On Discovery, 'Gold Rush' ranked second in the day in the key demo (0.59), led the day in adults 25-54 (0.81), and averaged 2.44 million viewers. Over on ESPN, an 'NBA Basketball' between the Celtics and Jazz, took victory in both men 18-49 (0.86) & males 12-34 (0.66), averaging 1.35 million viewers. On MTV, three episodes of 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.29/0.28/0.24 in W18-49, 0.25/0.27/0.23 in F12-34, and 603,000/658,000/568,000 in total viewers. Disney Channel aired new episodes of 'Raven's Home' (849,000), 'Andi Mack' (843,000), and 'Coop & Cami Ask the World' (657,000), while Syfy had 'Z Nation' (457,000) and 'Van Helsing' (416,000). On premium cable, HBO had 'Real Time with Bill Maher' (1.69 million), and two episodes of 'Room 104' (216,000/147,000), and Cinemax aired a new episode of 'Tales from the Tour Bus' (76,000).

The 'Thursday Night Football' simulcast, on NFL Network, led Thursday cable in the adults 18-49 demo (1.04 rating), as well as in men 18-49 (1.46), people 25-54 (1.29), and men 12-34 (0.82). The game also averaged 2.83 million viewers (in addition to 14.75 million on FOX). MTV's 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' took easy victories in both women 18-49 (0.96) & females 12-34 (0.81), and averaged 1.28 million viewers. Two lead-out episodes of 'How Far is Tattoo Far' were at 0.45/0.43 in W18-49, 0.39/0.40 in F12-34, and 617,000/564,000 in total viewers. TNT aired two 'NBA Basketball' games, Bucks/Warriors & Rockets/Thunder, which were at 0.86/0.49 in M18-49, 0.65/0.39 in F12-34, and 1.57 million/1.12 million viewers. Elsewhere, Bravo's 'Shah's of Sunset' had a 0.45 W18-49 rating with 1.01 million viewers, and on TruTV, 'Impractical Jokers' was at 0.29/0.26 in M/W18-49 with 535,000 viewers. Wednesday November 7, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between Minnesota and the Los Angeles Lakers took victory on Wednesday cable with a 1.01 A18-49 rating and 2.21 million viewers. The game also led the day in men 18-49 (1.54 rating), males 12-34 (1.18), and people 18-34 & 25-54 (1.0). On FX, 'American Horror Story' led all programming in women 18-49 (0.83), ranked second in females 12-34 (0.58), and had 1.65 million viewers, while on VH1 'Black Ink Crew' took the top spot in F12-34 (0.62), ranked second in W18-49 (0.82), and had 1.07 million viewers. Over at Comedy Central, 'South Park' was at 0.67/0.57 in M18-49/M12-34 with 826,000 viewers, and at Bravo, 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' notched 0.67/0.36 in those corresponding female demos with 1.19 million viewers. Elsewhere, TBS's 'Full Frontal with Samantha Bee' scored a 0.34 in W18-49 with 956,000 viewers, and MTV's 'Are You the One?' was at 0.43 in F12-34 with 480,000 viewers. Finally, on Pop, the series-premiere of 'Clique' was abysmal at a dead zero in adults 18-49 and just 11,000 viewers. 

Tuesday November 6, 2018 Nielsen Finals

CNN led all 8pm-12am midterm election coverage in both the adults 18-49 demographic (1.68 rating) and in adults 25-54 (1.97). FOX News was in second averaging 1.26 in A18-49 and 1.86 in A25-54, and MSNBC was in a distant third at 0.84 and 1.09 in those demos. Among total viewers, FOX News led the cable news nets among total viewers (7.35 million), CNN ranked second (4.73 million), and MSNBC was in third (4.66 million). Outside of midterm coverage, FX's 'Mayans MC' tied last week's number in the key demo (0.49 rating) and actually grew among total viewers (1.31 million). On Bravo, 'Below Deck' notched a 0.68 W18-49 rating with 1.32 million viewers, on MTV, 'The Challenge: Final Reckoning' averaged a 0.52 in that demo with 672,000 viewers, and  on OWN, 'The Haves and Have Notes' was at 0.49 with 1.72 million viewers. Finally, on TBS, 'The Guest Book' was at 0.33/0.27 in M/W18-49 and found 945,000 viewers. 

Monday November 5, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's 'Monday Night Football' dominated the Monday cable ratings with a 3.92 A18-49 rating and 11.79 million viewers. The game led in men & women 18-49 (5.27, 2.58 ratings), males & females 12-34 (3.48, 1.87), and people 18-34 (3.2) & 25-54 (4.71). On VH1, 'Love & Hip Hop' notched a 1.52 W18-49 rating with 2.08 million viewers, and 'T.I. and Tiny: Family Hustle' averaged a 0.96 in that demo with 1.35 million viewers. Over at USA Network, three hours of 'WWE Entertainment' had 1.2/1.11/0.94 ratings in M18-49 and 2.64 million/2.5 million/2.18 million in total viewers. MTV's 'Teen Mom' scored a 0.72 rating in W18-49, a 0.59 in F12-34, and 843,000 viewers, while 'Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant' was at 0.43/0.39 in those demos with 508,000 viewers. Finally, on Bravo, 'Real Housewives of OC' had a 0.8 W18-49 rating with 1.34 million viewers, and on TBS, 'Full Frontal with Samantha Bee' had a 0.19 F12-34 rating with 627,000 viewers.

Live +3 and Live +7 Ratings: 10/22 - 10/28/2018

NBC's 'This Is Us' led the week in L+7 raw demo gains, jumping 1.79 to 3.94 in adults 18-49, and up 5.5 million viewers to 14.03 million - second on the week. For the fifth week in a row, 'Manifest' took the top spot among raw viewership gains, rising 6.33 million viewers to 13.63 million in 7-day delayed viewing. In percentage demo gains, CBS's 'Criminal Minds' made an unusual appearance atop the list, up 152% from 0.66 to 1.67; ABC's 'How to Get Away with Murder' was just behind, rising 126% from 0.69 to 1.55. Finally, in percentage viewership gains, CW's 'Legends of Tomorrow' more than doubled its same-day performance, jumping from 996,000 viewers to 2.03 million. On the cable side, FX's 'American Horror Story: Apocalypse' narrowly beat out AMC's 'Walking Dead' in L+3 demo gains, rising 1.1 compared to 1.07.

U.S. Social Content Ratings: 10/29 - 11/4/2018

USA Network's 'WWE Monday Night RAW' and 'WWE Smackdown' took the top two spots for the week in terms of social media interactions. On Monday the 29th, 'RAW' totaled 1.64 million interactions across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; and on Tuesday, 'Smackdown' had approximately 1.19 million. Both were heavy on Instagram. The only two scripted series to make the list this week were AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (1.06 million) and ABC's 'Grey's Anatomy' (386,000). 'Anatomy' saw heavy interaction on Instagram (266K) while 'Dead' saw slight more on Twitter (503K). NBC's 'A Very Wicked Halloween' special squeaked onto the list ranked at number 10, totaling 369,000 interactions.

Sunday November 4, 2018 Nielsen Finals

AMC's much-hyped episode of 'The Walking Dead' took an easy victory on Sunday cable, notching a 2.07 A18-49 rating with 5.41 million total viewers. The show was remarkable even between men & women 18-49 (2.06/2.08 ratings) and 12-34 (1.07/1.08), but found its best numbers in adults 25-54 (2.58 rating). 'Talking Dead' had an even 1.0 in the key demo with 2.7 million viewers. On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' scored the day's second-best W18-49 rating (1.08) and had 1.93 million viewers; lead-out 'Married to Medicine' averaged a 0.70 in that demo with 1.38 million viewers. Other programs robust in female viewership include E!'s 'Keeping Up with Kardashians' (0.82 in W18-49, 0.72 in F12-34) and TLC's '90 Day FiancÄ—' (0.79/0.55); those two shows were at 1.13 million & 1.76 million viewers respectively. Other notable basic cable offerings include: BBC America's 'Doctor Who' (685,000/0.20), TNT's 'The Last Ship' (1.13 milion/0.20), and Lifetime's 'You' (470,000/0.14). On premium cable, Starz saw the fourth-season premiere of 'Outlander' whose 1.08 million viewers were on par with its 2016 second-season numbers, but lower than any episode last year. Elsewhere, HBO aired 'Last Week Tonight' (648,000), 'The Deuce' (387,000), & 'Camping' (265,000), and Showtime had 'Ray Donovan' (732,000), 'Kidding' (152,000), 'The Circus' (227,000), and the return of 'Our Cartoon President' (108,000). 

Saturday November 3, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'College Football' took the top three spots on an otherwise slow day on Saturday cable. The Penn State/Michigan game led the day with a 1.25 A18-49 rating and 4.25 million viewers. The game scored cable-best numbers in men & women 18-49 (1.7, 0.8 ratings), males & females 12-34 (1.19, 0.56), and both people 18-34 (0.97) & 25-54 (1.44). On Hallmark Channel, original movie 'Christmas Joy' ranked first in adults over 50 (2.28), ranked second in both the W18-49 (0.74) & F12-34 (0.42) demos, and averaged 3.37 million viewers. A&E, 'Live PD' was third in 18-49 (0.57) and had 1.8 million viewers. Finally, Ovation's 'Versailles' remained low at 0.02 in the demo and 139,000 viewers. 'Inside Versailles' did not air on TV.

Friday November 2, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Timberwolves and Warriors led a low-rated Friday on cable, notching a 0.81 A18-49 rating with 1.98 million viewers. The game led in men 18-49 (1.19 rating), males & females 12-34 (0.86, 0.33), and people 18-34 (0.69) & 25-54 (0.86). Coverage of the Thunder/Wizards game managed a 0.8 in M18-49, a 0.58 in M12-34, and 1.36 million viewers. On A&E, 'Live PD' led cable in the W18-49 demo (0.59) and averaged 1.79 million viewers. Discovery's 'Gold Rush' ranked second in the A25-54 demo (0.76), and was robust in people over 50 (1.22) and total viewers (2.16 million). Over at MTV, two episodes of 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.24/0.33 in W18-49, 0.20/0.29 in F12-34, and 537,000/694,000 in total viewers. On Syfy, both 'Z Nation' (457,000/0.11) and 'Van Helsing' (457,000/0.10) remained relatively stable, and on HBO, 'Pod Save America' finished its run with 382,000 viewers. Finally, the second season premiere of Cinemax's 'Tales from the Tour Bus' tied its series-low in the demo (0.01), but fell to a new low in viewership (31,000), down from its first season finale back in Nov. 2017 (45K).

Thursday November 1, 2018 Nielsen Finals

MTV's 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' overtook NFL Network's simulcast of 'Thursday Night Football' to win Thursday cable. The reality show averaged a 0.76 A18-49 rating with 1.26 million viewers, including dominant performances in women 18-49 (0.92 rating), females 12-34 (0.84), and people 18-34 (0.82). Behind 'Shore' was two episodes of 'How Far is Tattoo Far' which both averaged 0.40 in F12-34 and 0.42 in W18-49 and were at 583,000/562,000 in total viewers. 'Thursday Night Football' averaged just a 0.75 rating with 2.15 million viewers, but led cable in men 18-49 (1.04), and people 25-54 (0.93). TNT coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Bucks and Celtics led all of cable in the males 12-34 demo (0.59), notched a solid 0.74 in M18-49, and averaged 1.28 million viewers. The Pelicans/Blazers game was at 0.53/0.69 in those demos respectively with 1.08 million viewers. A&E's 'Live PD' had a 0.41 in W18-49 with 1.2 million viewers, while Bravo's 'Shahs of Sunset' pulled a 0.39 in that demo with 894,000 viewers. Elsewhere, 'Impractical Jokers,' on TruTV, had 502,000 viewers and 'Deutschland 86,' on SundanceTV, had 149,000. 

Wednesday October 31, 2018 Nielsen Finals

Perhaps fittingly, FX's 'American Horror Story: Apocalypse' led the Halloween cable ratings, averaging a 0.74 A18-49 rating with 1.63 million viewers. The show also led cable in women 18-49 (0.76 rating), females 12-34 (0.54), and both people 18-34 (0.64) & 25-54 (0.82). TNT's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Pacers and Knicks led in both men 18-49 (0.89) & males 12-34 (0.63) and averaged 1.37 million viewers. The Spurs/Suns game was at 0.67/0.48 in those demos with 1.07 million viewers. On VH1, 'Black Ink Crew' ranked second in both the W18-49 demo (0.65) & F12-34 demo (0.51) with 989,000 viewers. Other female-skewing shows include both Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Dallas' and OWN's 'Greenleaf' which were at 0.27/0.26 respectively in W18-49 and 564,000/1.18 million in total viewers. Comedy Central's 'South Park' was at 0.62/0.32 in M/W18-49, 0.48/0.29 in M/F12-34 and averaged 842,000 viewers. Four hours of Travel Channel's 'Ghost Adventures Live' were remarkably strong, ranging from 0.32 to 0.37 in the demo and from 823,000 to 970,000 in total viewers. Over at FXX, 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' hit a three-week high in the demo (0.19) and total viewers (323,000), while at IFC, the two season-premiere episodes of 'Stan Against Evil' were at 105,000 & 110,000 viewers, down from the show's second season finale back in Nov. 2017 (189K/173K).

Tuesday October 30, 2018 Nielsen Finals

USA Network's 'WWE Smackdown' took victory on Tuesday cable with a 0.73 A18-49 rating with 2.11 million viewers. The program brought in cable-bests in men 18-49 (0.92 rating), males 12-34 (0.56 rating), and people 25-54 (0.88). 'The Purge' was relatively even between the demos though skewed slightly female (0.38/0.36 in 18-49), and had 917,000 viewers. MTV's 'The Challenge: Final Reckoning' led the day in people 18-34 (0.53) and females 12-34 (0.48), averaging 788,000 viewers overall. The penultimate episode of FX's 'Mayans M.C.' was up a tick from last week's season-low to 0.49 in the demo (0.61 in M18-49) with 1.23 million viewers. Over on Bravo, 'Below Deck' led cable in the W18-49 demo (0.62) and averaged 1.39 million viewers, 'Flipping Out' was at 0.34 in that demo with 780,000k and on OWN, 'The Haves and Have Nots' had 0.46 in with 1.83 million viewers. Finally, on Syfy, 'Channel Zero' saw notable growth, up to 0.06 with 257,000 viewers. 

Monday October 29, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'Monday Night Football' topped the Monday cable ratings averaging a 3.54 A18-49 rating with 10.85 million viewers. The game also led the day in both men & women 18-49 (4.94, 2.15 ratings), males & females 12-34 (3.36, 1.43 ratings), and people 18-34 & 25-54 (2.84, 4.87). On USA Network, three hours of 'WWE Entertainment' were at 1.23/1.08/1.00 in M18-49 and at 2.72 million/2.46 million/2.24 million in total viewers. Over at VH1, 'Love & Hip Hop' took the second spot on the day in the W18-49 demo (1.21) while 'T.I and Tiny: Family Hustle' ranked third (0.80); in total viewers those two shows were at: 1.86 million and 1.34 million. Bravo's 'Real Housewives of OC' was at 0.75/0.41 in W18-49/F12-34 with 1.35 million viewers, and On MTV 'Teen Mom' notched 0.72/0.61 in those demos and 'Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant' had 0.45/0.44. On Syfy, 'Channel Zero' tumbled down to a 0.04 in the demo with 173,000 viewers, and the finale of Paramount's 'Heathers' had 0.02 with 68,000 viewers. 

Live +3 and Live +7 Ratings: 10/15 - 10/21/2018

NBC's 'This Is Us' took victory for the week in L+7 raw demo gains, rising 1.79 to an even 4.0 among adults 18-49. 'Us' barely edged out 'Manifest' for the top spot on the week as that show was up 1.75 in the demo to 3.24. 'Manifest' did; however, take an easy win in raw viewership gains, rising 6.88 million viewers to 14.35 million, averaging more than 1 million more +7 viewers than second-ranked 'The Good Doctor' which jumped 5.76 million to 12.44 million. The CW's 'Riverdale' topped the demo percentage gains for the week, rising 145% from 0.42 to 1.02, just ahead of the 136% gain by 'A Million Little Things' which rose from 0.77 to 1.81. Among viewership percentage gains, those two shows flip-flopped with 'A Million Little Things' taking the top spot, up 104% from 3.34 million to 6.82 million, and the 'Riverdale' up 100% from 1.28 million to 2.55 million. In cable L+3 ratings for the week, FX's 'American Horror Story' beat out AMC's 'The Walking Dead' in raw demo gains, up 1.2 vs. 1.06. 

Sunday October 28, 2018 Nielsen Finals

AMC's 'The Walking Dead' topped the Sunday cable ratings averaging a 1.95 A18-49 rating with 5.1 million total viewers. The game led the cable in men & women 18-49 (1.97, 1.93 ratings), females 12-34 (1.08), and both people 18-34 and 25-54 (1.18/2.41). NFL Network's morning coverage of Philadelphia vs. Jacksonville in London led in males 12-34 (1.14) and averaged 3.59 million viewers. In female-skewing programming, TLC's '90 Day FiancÄ—' notched a 0.93 W18-49 rating with 1.85 million viewers, 'Unexpected' had a 0.49 in that demo with 1.03 million viewers, E!'s 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' had a 0.68 with 878,000 viewers, and Bravo's 'Married to Medicine' was at 0.58 with 1.07 million viewers. Also airing on ad-supported scripted cable was TNT's 'The Last Ship' (1.12 million/0.23), BBC America's 'Doctor Who' (900,000/0.32), Lifetime's 'You' (488,000/0.14), and Syfy's 'Channel Zero' (273,000/0.10), the latter of which saw nice recovery from the previous day's low. Premium cable saw Showtime's 'Kidding' (179,000), 'The Circus' (238,000), and the season premiere of Showtime's 'Ray Donovan' (805,000) which returned to its lowest viewership ever. HBO aired 'Last Week Tonight' (918,000), 'The Deuce' (480,000), and 'Camping' (384,000).

U.S. Social Content Ratings: 10/22 - 10/28/2018

USA Network's 'WWE Monday Night RAW' led all of television among social media interactions for the week ending Oct. 28. The program averaging north of 4.15 million interactions, inclined 2.22 million from Instagram and 1.46 million from Twitter. On Telemundo, the 'Latin American Music Awards' averaged 3.9 million interactions, more than three times that of third-ranked 'WWE Smackdown' (1.26 million). Elsewhere, CW's 'Riverdale' (523,000), AMC's 'The Walking Dead' (323,000), and FX's 'American Horror Story' (300,000) all were Twitter-heavy this week: 308K, 145K, 164K.

Saturday October 27, 2018 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of the Iowa/Penn State 'College Football' game led a slow Saturday on cable, averaging a 0.78 A18-49 rating with 3.27 million viewers. The game also topped the men 18-49 demo (1.01 rating) and the adults 25-54 demo (0.97). The Purdue/Michigan State game led cable in males 12-34 (0.67) and adults 18-34 (0.61). A Hallmark original movie, 'Christmas at Pemberley Manor' led cable in women 18-49 (0.79 rating), females 12-34 (0.47), adults over 50 (2.33), and total viewers (3.57 million). Syfy's 'Channel Zero' lost 0.04 from yesterday's premiere, but stayed consistent in viewership (324,000), while two episodes of Paramount's 'Heathers' were both up from yesterday, to 141,000 & 94,000. Over at OWN, 'Ready to Love' tumbled to 0.06 from Tuesday's premiere, and lost over 500K viewers to 246,000. Finally, Ovation's 'Versailles' remained stable week-to-week in the demo, but dropped 100K viewers, to 121,000; the after-show ticked up to 0.01 in the demo with 49,000 viewers. 

Friday October 26, 2018 Nielsen Finals

Discovery's 'Gold Rush' topped the Friday cable ratings with a 0.64 A18-49 rating and 2.23 million viewers. The show led the day in men 18-49 (0.84 rating), adults 25-54 (0.85), and tied for first in males 12-34 (0.35). A&E's 'Live PD' took the top spot on the day in women 18-49 (0.62), females 12-34 (0.35), and adults 18-34 (0.4), averaging 1.73 million viewers overall. Two episodes of MTV's 'Ridiculousness' were at 0.23/0.26 in W18-49, 0.23/0.25 in F12-34, and 532,000/596,000 in total viewers. On Syfy, 'Z Nation' notched a 0.13 rating with 400,000 viewers, 'Van Helsing' had a 0.10 with 416,000 viewers, and the season premiere of 'Channel Zero' had 0.10 with 322,000 viewers, up a tick in the demo from its third-season finale back in March (0.09), but down slightly in viewership (335,000). Elsewhere on the scripted side, Disney Channel's 'Raven's Home' had 783,000 viewers and 'Coop & Cami Ask the World' had 650,000. Finally, on HBO, 'Real Time with Bill Maher' scored 1.55 million viewers, 'Pod Save America' had 415,000, and 'Tracey Ullman's Show' had 154,000.
