TUESDAY DECEMBER 29, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's coverage of COLLEGE FOOTBALL between LSU and Texas Tech easily took victory on a slow Tuesday cable day. The game notched a 1.57 rating in A18-49 with 4.96 million viewers, leading the day in men 18-49 (2.1 rating), males 12-34 (1.5), women 18-49 (1.05), females 12-34 (0.69), people 18-34 (1.24), people 25-54 (1.8), and people over 50+ (2.48). Outside of sports, History's CURSE OF OAK ISLAND notched a 0.95 A18-49 rating with 3.3 million viewers (1.16 in M18-49, 1.74 in P50+), and Discovery's MOONSHINERS special was at 0.55 in the demo with 1.7 million viewers (0.72 in M18-49). On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS ranked second in women 18-49 (1.04 rating) and averaged 1.78 million viewers, while GIRLFRIEND'S GUIDE TO DIVORCE notched a 0.43 in that demo with 689,000 viewers. Other shows of note include: A&E's and FYI's MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT (1.31 million, 497,000), Syfy's THE EXPANSE (633,000), Reelz's THE KENNEDY FILES (258,000), and Esquire's KNIFE FIGHT (110,000). Not in the list below was Showtime's INSIDE THE NFL (109,000).

MONDAY DECEMBER 28, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL between the Bengals and Browns, on ESPN, easily led the last Monday of 2015, scoring a 4.81 adults 18-49 rating with 15.81 million viewers. The game had a 6.32 rating in M18-49, a 4.44 rating in males 12-34, and a huge 8.0 rating in people over 50. On USA Network, three hours of WWE ENTERTAINMENT were at 1.53/1.54/1.48 in M18-49 and averaged 3.7 million/3.49 million/3.43 million viewers. VH1's LOVE AND HIP HOP took the second spot on cable in the women 18-49 demographic (2.17 rating) and averaged 2.81 million viewers. Two episodes of BLACK INK CREW CHICAGO were at 1.56 and 1.39 in that demo and averaged 1.96 million and 1.79 million viewers respectively. E!'s HOLLYWOOD MEDIUM had a 0.29 rating in W18-49 with 597,000 viewers, and Discovery's RED DEVIL RACERS notched a 0.51 rating in M18-49 with 1 million viewers. Finally, the three series finale episodes of TNT's LEGENDS were at 515,000, 405,000, and 325,000 viewers.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 27, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Bravo's REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA topped an otherwise slow day on cable, averaging a 1.43 rating in adults 18-49 with 2.98 million viewers. The program also did a 2.13 rating in W18-49 and a 1.33 rating in F12-34. VANDERPUMP RULES, which immediately followed, notched a 0.73 rating with 1.53 million viewers. In the women 18-49 ratings, the two shows were at 2.13 and 1.12 respectively. Over on TNT, THE LIBRARIANS averaged a 1.34 rating in people 50+ with 2.24 million viewers, and two episodes of AGENT X were at 0.76/0.74 in that demo and at 1.22 million/1.12 million viewers respectively. Elsewhere, E!'s THE ROYALS had a 0.4 rating in W18-49 with 671,000 viewers, and the after show, ROYAL HANGOVER had a 0.2 with 319,000 viewers. Finally, the series-finale of STARZ's FLESH AND BONE managed 93,000 total viewers.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 26, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

NFL Network's Saturday edition of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL easily strolled to a cable victory, notching a 2.54 rating in the key 18-49 demo with 8.15 million total viewers. The game again led all major demographics on cable including men & women 18-49 (3.43 rating and 1.66), males & females 12-34 (2.3, 1.32), and people 18-34 (2.09). Four college football games on ESPN took the second, third, fourth, and fifth spots on the day, at 1.35/1.11/0.91/0.75 ratings in M18-49, and ranging between 2.4 million and 4.05 million viewers. Over on Starz, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD stayed modest at 0.14 in the demo with 343,000 viewers, while the series-finale of DA VINCI'S DEMONS hit its highest viewership numbers since Nov. 14 (202,000). The only other scripted series of note was Esquire's SPOTLESS which averaged a 0.02 in the demo with 82,000 viewers.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 25, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

NBA BASKETBALL between the Spurs and Rockets, on ESPN, led Christmas Day cable with a 1.39 rating in adults 18-49 with 3.88 million viewers. The game topped the day in men & women 18-49 (1.81 and 0.97 ratings), people 18-34 (1.33 rating), females 12-34 (0.85 rating), people 25-54 (1.43 rating) and people over 50 (1.52 rating). The NBA game between the Pelicans and Heat had a 1.7 rating in M18-49, led cable in M12-34 (1.67 rating), and averaged 3.17 million viewers. The Clippers/Lakers game had a 1.47 rating in M18-49 wth 2.89 million viewers. The other major program of note was BBC America's DOCTOR WHO which averaged a 0.51 A18-49 rating with 1.24 million viewers. That program saw success in men & women 18-49 (0.57 and 0.45 ratings), as well as males & females 12-34 (0.45 and 0.42 ratings).

THURSDAY DECEMBER 24, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

NFL Network's THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL topped a very slow Christmas Eve on cable. The game notched a 2.42 adults 18-49 rating with 7.08 million viewers and topped every major demographic on cable: men & women 18-49 (3.13 rating, 1.71 rating), males & females 12-34 (1.31, 1.29), people 18-34 (2.06), people 25-54 (2.73), and people over 50 (3.07). TIMELINE, which aired after the game had a 0.51 rating in the demo (0.76 in M18-49) with 1.3 million viewers. On ABC Family, 700 CLUB averaged a 0.49 rating in F12-34 with 869,000 viewers, and on TruTV, BILLY ON THE STREET took in 216,000 viewers. In lower-rated cables, Ovation's SECRET OF THE NUTCRACKER barely registered at 0.01 in the demo with 64,000 viewers.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 23, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's coverage of COLLEGE FOOTBALL between Georgia Southern and Bowling Green led a slow day on Wednesday cable. The game averaged a 0.65 adults 18-49 rating and led the day in men 18-49 (0.91 rating), males 12-34 (0.71 rating) and total viewers (2.34 million). On USA Network, WWE TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS ranked second on the day with a 0.6 rating in the key demo (0.73 in M18-49) with 1.8 million viewers, and CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST took third with a 0.59 rating (0.65 in W18-49) and 1.48 million viewers. On MTV, CHALLENGE: BLOODLINES took third on the day in females 12-34 (0.45 rating) and averaged 691,000 viewers, CHALLENGE: SPECIALS took a 0.31 in that demo with 410,000 viewers. Finally, on Esquire, GOING DEEP WITH DAVID REES notched a 0.02 rating with 84,000 viewers.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 22, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

THE CURSE OF OAK ISLAND, on History, topped the Tuesday cable ratings with a 1.0 A18-49 rating with 3.4 million viewers, leading the day in men 18-49 (1.16 rating), females 12-34 (0.6), people 18-34 (0.72) and people 25-54 (1.24). USA Network's WWE SMACKDOWN took the third spot on the day, behind HGTV's FIXER UPPER (0.82/3.17M), with a 0.71 demo rating and 2.26 million viewers; SMACKDOWN led cable in males 12-34 (0.96 rating), and ranked second in M18-49 (0.92). Over on Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS led in the females 18-49 demo, notching a 1.1 rating, and averaged 1.59 million viewers; GIRLFRIEND'S GUIDE TO DIVORCE had a 0.39 rating in that demo with 570,000 viewers. Elswhere, Syfy's THE EXPANSE dipped to 676,000 viewers, Discovery's MOONSHINERS had 1.98 million (0.9 rating in M18-49), and FYI's BLACK LOVE averaged 204,000 after a MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT lead-in (510,000).

MONDAY DECEMBER 21, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game between Lions and Saints led a slow day on Monday broadcast and cable. The game notched a 3.45 rating in adults 18-49 (4.83 rating in men 18-49) with 10.9 million viewers. The game also led in W18-49 (2.1), M18-34 (0.15), M12-34 (3.4), and F12-34 (1.4). On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP notched a 1.8 rating in W18-49 with 2.29 million viewers, and BLACK INK CREW CHICAGO was at 1.2 in that demo with 1.65 million viewers. Bravo's VANDERPUMP RULES had a 0.9 W18-49 rating with 1.27 million viewers, VANDERPUMP AFTER SHOW had a 0.24 with 408,000 viewers, and APRES SKI had a 0.34 in that demo with 615,000 viewers. WWE ENTERTAINMENT, on USA Network, was at 1.59/1.58/1.61 ratings in M18-49 during its three hours, and at 3.44 million/3.37 million/3.32 million in total viewers. Finally, on TNT, MAJOR CRIMES had a 2.8 rating in P50+ with 3.69 million viewers, up hugely from last week's 3 million, while LEGENDS managed only a 0.54 in that demo with 824,000 viewers, also up big from last week (514K).

SUNDAY DECEMBER 20, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Bravo's REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA took victory on Sunday cable, averaging a 1.36 adults 18-49 rating (1.89 in W18-49) with 2.86 million viewers. WORK OUT NEW YORK had a 0.31 in that demo with 479,000 viewers. Over on E!, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS averaged a 1.32 W18-49 rating with 1.89 million viewers, and THE ROYALS notched a 0.45 W18-49 rating with 705,000 viewers. The season finale of Showtime's HOMELAND averaged 2.07 million viewers, its best numbers since Dec. 14, 2014 (2.11 million viewers). THE AFFAIR concluded its run with 1.11 million viewers. On TNT, THE LIBRARIANS scored a 1.12 rating in people over 50 with 1.94 million viewers, and AGENT X had a 0.76 rating in that demo with 1.21 million viewers. Finally, on STARZ, FLESH AND BONE had 116,000 viewers in its penultimate episode.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 19, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

NFL Network's Saturday edition THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL led all programming on cable notching a 2.42 rating in the key demo with 7.41 million viewers. The game led in men 18-49 (3.3 rating), males 12-34 (2.44 rating) as well as a host of other demographics including people 18-34 (2.15) and people 25-54 (2.8). Hallmark's original movie, A CHRISTMAS MELODY took second in the people over 50 demo (2.8 vs. football's 3.49) and second in total viewers with 3.95 million. On the scripted side was STARZ's ASH VS. EVIL DEAD (465,000) & DA VINCI'S DEMONS (120,000), two episodes of TV Land's INSTANT MOM (189,000 & 201,000), Esquire's SPOTLESS (84,000), and Sundance's THE RETURNED (72,000).

FRIDAY DECEMBER 18, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

GOLD RUSH, on Discovery, again led all of Friday cable, notching a 1.16 adults 18-49 rating with 3.78 million viewers. The program out delivered all other programming on both broadcast and cable in men 18-49 (1.6 rating), men 18-34 (1.02 rating), males 12-34 (0.93 rating), and and people 18-34 (0.84 rating). On the cable side, the show led all programming in W18-49 (0.71 rating), F12-34 (0.54 rating), people 25-54 (1.49 rating), and people over 50 (1.94 rating). On the scripted side was Syfy's Z NATION (0.48 in M18-49, 0.41 in M12-34) with 1.1 million viewers, USA Network's SATISFACTION (636,000), A&E's UNFORGETTABLE (1 million), and the series (?) finale of Cinemax's THE KNICK (275,000). On WEtv, MARRIAGE BOOT CAMP had a 0.49 rating in W18-49 with 716,000 viewers, and DAVID TUTERA CELEBRATIONS had a 0.31 in that demo with 444,000 viewers.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 17, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL coverage on NFL Network led Thursday cable with a 2.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 6 million viewers. The game led all of cable in the major demos: men & women 18-49 (2.92 rating, 1.09 rating), males & females 12-34 (0.76, 1.97), people 18-34 (1.57), people 25-54 (2.38), and people over 50 (2.81). Syfy's WWE SMACKDOWN was at 0.72 in M18-49 and 0.79 in M12-34 with 2.33 million viewers, and the two series-finale episodes of HAVEN were at 679,000 and 528,000 in total viewers. On Bravo, TOP CHEF was at 0.5 in W18-49 with 850,000 viewers, on Lifetime, PROJECT RUNWAY JUNIOR averaged 0.57 in that demo with 1.25 million viewers, and on MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS had 0.24 (0.20 in F12-34) with 592,000 viewers. Over at WEtv, TAMAR & VINCE notched a 0.45 in W18-49 with 684,000 viewers while SELLING IT IN THE ATL managed 431,000 viewers. Among the micro-rated, the season finale of RFD's SMALL TOWN BIG DEAL averaged just 34,000 viewers and a zero rating in the demo.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 16, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Discovery's ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE topped Wednesday cable notching a 1.08 adults 18-49 rating (1.19 in M18-49, 1.35 in P25-54, 1.77 in P50+) with 3.42 million viewers. ESPN's coverage of the SUNS/WARRIORS NBA game edged into second place with a 0.95 adults 18-49 rating, just ahead of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY which had a 0.94. The NBA game led all of cable in M18-49 (1.51 rating), M12-34 (1.41), and P18-34 (1.1); it had 1.97 million viewers. The aforementioned AMERICAN HORROR STORY ranked third in the key demo with 1.85 million viewers, and led cable in both W18-49 (1.1 rating) and F12-34 (0.84). On Syfy, the series-premiere of THE MAGICIANS brought in a modest 0.26 18-49 rating (0.33 in M18-49, 0.19 in W18-49) with 916,000 viewers, and the third installment of CHILDHOOD'S END had a 0.33 rating with 1.28 million viewers.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 15, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

CNN's coverage of the NEVADA GOP DEBATE marched to an easy victory on both broadcast and cable in both adults 18-49 (3.84 rating) and total viewers (18.17 million viewers). The debate also topped all of television in men 18-49 (4.6 rating), males 12-34 (2.9), people 18-34 (3.0), and people 25-54 (4.76), and ranked second behind THE VOICE in women 18-49 (3.1). On History, THE CURSE OF OAK ISLAND ranked just behind debate coverage, averaging a 0.78 A18-49 rating with 2.47 million viewers, finding big ratings in men 18-49 (1.0) and people over 50 (1.23). Among programs robust in female viewers, Bravo's REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS had the highest non-debate ratings in W18-49 (1.04) with 1.53 million viewers, and BET's BEING MARY JANE was just behind with its 1.03 rating in that demo with 1.66 million viewers; GIRLFRIEND'S GUIDE TO DIVORCE had a 0.45 with 596,000 viewers. On Discovery, MOONSHINERS had a 0.77 rating in men 18-49 (third on cable outside of the debate) with 1.57 million viewers, and on Hallmark, the original movie A CHRISTMAS DETOUR notched a 0.8 in P50+ with 1.21 million viewers. Elsewhere, Syfy's miniseries CHILDHOOD'S END found 1.24 million viewers in its second episode, and THE EXPANSE had 854,000. In finales, the two series-finale episodes of MTV's FINDING CARTER was at 337,000 & 334,000, and the finale of WGN America's MANHATTAN ended low at 201,000.

MONDAY DECEMBER 14, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Another MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game, another easy victory for ESPN on Monday cable. The Giants/Dolphins telecast led everything on television in the major male demographics: M12-34 (4.0 rating), M18-34 (4.5), and M18-49 (5.5), and ranked in the top three programs for major female demos: F12-34 (1.7),  W18-34 (2.0), and W18-49 (2.2). In total viewers, the game had 11.55 million. On USA Network, WWE ENTERTAINMENT averaged 1.69/1.73/1.92 from 8pm-11pm in men 18-49, and was at 4.04 million/3.79 million/3.83 million in total viewers in that timeframe. Over at VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP tied FOOTBALL in the W18-49 demo (2.2), beat it in the F12-34 demo (1.8), all despite averaging almost 9 million less viewers (2.67 million). BLACK INK CREW CHICAGO returned from a two-week hiatus to a 1.3 rating in the W18-49 demo (#3 on cable) with 1.71 million viewers. On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES had a 2.24 rating in P50+ with 3 million viewers, while LEGENDS could only muster 514,000 viewers. Bravo's VANDERPUMP RULES, VANDERPUMP AFTER SHOW, and APRES SKI were at 0.98/0.28/0.35 respectively in the W18-49 demo, and at 1.29 million/448,000/469,000 in total viewers. The Syfy premieres of CHILDHOOD'S END and THE EXPANSE were at 1.45 million and 1.19 million viewers respectively - solid starts. Finally, the season finale of FARGO, on FX, hit a season-high 1.82 million viewers - the highest figures since the first season finale in June 2014 (1.98 million).

SUNDAY DECEMBER 13, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Bravo's REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA took victory on Sunday cable notching a 1.39 rating in the A18-49 demo (2.1 rating in W18-49) with 3.02 million viewers. Also on Bravo was WORK OUT NEW YORK (0.47 in W18-49) with 756,000 viewers and THEN AND NOW (0.36 in W18-49) with 606,000 viewers. On AMC, INTO THE BADLANDS ticked down to 0.96 in the demo (a strong 1.23 M18-49 skew) with 2.21 million viewers, and on Disney Channel, DESCENDANTS: WICKED WORLD averaged a 0.7 in females 12-34 with 1.6 million viewers. On E!, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS was at 1.45 in W18-49 with 2.05 million viewers while THE ROYALS hit 0.42 in that demo with 653,000 viewers. Over on premium cable, Showtime's HOMELAND had 1.84 million viewers and THE AFFAIR averaged 989,000; on HBO, GETTING ON managed 263,000 viewers while an airing of the HBO original movie THE NORMAL HEART struggled with only 118,000; and on STARZ, FLESH AND BONE had 73,000 viewers. Over at TNT, THE LIBRARIANS had a 1.15 rating in people over 50 with 2.21 million viewers, and AGENT X had 0.69 in that demo with 1.15 million viewers. Finally, the mid-season premiere of Sundance's CLOSE UP WITH THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER was at a dead-zero in the 18-49s with only 9,000 viewers.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 12, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's HEISMAN TROPHY presentation led all of Saturday cable with a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating and 3.06 million viewers. The program also led cable in men 18-49 (1.27 rating), males 12-34 (1.06 rating), and adults 25-54 (0.98 rating). UFC PPC PRELIMS, on FS1, led cable in women 18-49 (0.55 rating / 1.14 in M18-49), females 12-34 (0.46 / 0.96 in M12-34), and adults 18-34 (0.89 rating), and averaged 1.93 million viewers. Over on Hallmark Channel, the original movie ON THE 12TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS led in the adults over 50 demographic (2.68 rating) and averaged 3.51 million viewers. Scripted series of note airing include STARZ's ASH VS. EVIL DEAD (452,000) & DA VINCI'S DEMONS (120,000), two episodes of TV Land's INSTANT MOM (297,000 & 293,000), Esquire's SPOTLESS (63,000), and Sundance's THE RETURNED (62,000). The Lifetime movie, BECOMING SANTA had a 0.29 rating in W18-49 with 1.15 million viewers.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 11, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Discovery's GOLD RUSH strolled to an easy victory on Friday cable averaging a 1.03 rating in the key demo (A18-49) with 3.75 million total viewers, doubling the performance of second-ranked NBA BASKETBALL between the Lakers and Spurs which averaged a 0.58 rating with 1.45 million viewers. RUSH led all of cable in most of the key sub demos: M18-49 (1.44 rating), W18-49 (0.62 rating), P18-34 (0.76), P25-54 (1.33), and tied BASKETBALL in M12-34 (0.81 rating). On the scripted side Friday was Syfy's Z NATION (826,000), USA Network's SATISFACTION (636,000), and Cinemax's THE KNICK (199,000). Elsewhere, A&E's UNFORGETTABLE was at 941,000, E!'s THE SOUP averaged 280,000, and GSN's THE CHASE had 602,000.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 10, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

NFL Network's coverage of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL dominated Thursday cable with a 2.93 adults 18-49 rating and 8.74 million viewers. The coverage led all of television (broadcast included) in men 18-49 (4.02 rating) and people 18-34 (2.36 rating), and led all of cable in W18-49 (1.85), F12-34 (1.31), M12-34 (2.62), P25-54 (3.43) and people over 50 (4.17). Syfy's WWE SMACKDOWN lost 0.02 from last week to 0.55 in the demo with 2.13 million viewers. On Bravo, TOP CHEF averaged a 0.52 rating in W18-49 with 889,000 viewers, and on WEtv, TAMAR & VINCE notched a 0.59 in that demo with 790,000 viewers, while SELLING IT IN THE ATL was at 0.36 with 486,000 viewers. Over at MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS hit a 0.33 rating in F12-34 (0.38 in M12-34 surprisingly) with 673,000 viewers. The penultimate episode of Syfy's HAVEN found 741,000 viewers, while the season finale of IFC's COMEDY BANG! BANG! had just 36,000.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 9, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

The season finale of Comedy Central's SOUTH PARK topped all of cable Wednesday with a 1.12 adults 18-49 rating (1.61 in M18-49, 1.46 in P18-34, 1.78 in M12-34) with 1.83 million viewers. While PARK led in the male demos, FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY led in the female demos, notching a 1.12 rating in women 18-49, and a 1.06 in females 12-34 with 2.14 million total viewers. On Discovery, ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE led cable in total viewers (3.77 million) and led all non-cable news programming in adults 50+ (2.03 rating) and adults 25-54 (1.4). On Bravo, MILLION DOLLAR LISTING LA had a 0.63 rating in W18-49 (tied for 3rd on cable) with 1.32 million viewers, and on MTV, CHALLENGE: BLOODLINES had a 0.48 rating in F12-34 with 556,000 viewers. Elsewhere, the series-finale of FXX's THE LEAGUE found 456,000 viewers, while the season finale of YOU'RE THE WORST rose to 269,000; both saw their highest viewership since Sept. 30 (634K and 294K).

TUESDAY DECEMBER 8, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

History's CURSE OF OAK ISLAND led busy day on Tuesday cable, notching a 0.94 A18-49 rating with 3.22 million viewers. The program also led cable in men 18-49 (1.17 rating) and in people 25-54 (1.14 rating). On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS averaged 1.77 million viewers with a cable-best 1.02 rating in women 18-49, while GIRLFRIEND'S GUIDE TO DIVORCE was at 0.4 in that demo with 628,000 viewers. Over on Discovery, MOONSHINERS had the second-best ratings in adults 18-49 (0.81), men 18-49 (1.13 rating), and males 12-34 (0.76 vs. NEON JOE's 0.77), as well as 2.12 million total viewers. CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST, on USA, put forth solid numbers in the W18-49 demo (0.8, #4 on cable) and averaged 1.69 million viewers; DONNY! remained modest at 578,000 viewers. Other series of note include: BET's BEING MARY JANE (1.08 million), MTV's FINDING CARTER (358,000), Reelz's THE KENNEDY FILES (196,000), and the penultimate episode of WGN America's MANHATTAN (240,000). Not in the list below, but Showtime's INSIDE THE NFL averaged 156,000 viewers.

MONDAY DECEMBER 7, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL again dominated the Monday cable ratings, notching a massive 4.81 adults 18-49 rating with 14.15 million total viewers. The game led all of television in major demographics: males 12-34, 18-34, and 18-49 (4.71 rating, 5.31, 6.55), and in females 12-34 and 18-34 (2.02 rating, 2.45), and ranked second to NBC's THE VOICE in women 18-49 (3.6 rating vs. 3.1). On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD ranked second on cable in women 18-49 (1.93 rating) and females 12-34 (1.76), averaging a total of 2.52 million viewers, while VH1'S BIG IN 2015 had 1.29/1.25 in those demos with 1.69 million viewers. Three hours of USA Network's WWE ENTERTAINMENT were at 1.55/1.44/1.44 respectively in men 18-49, and at 3.27 million/3.04 million/2.85 million in total viewers. Among older-skewing shows, TNT's MAJOR CRIMES notched a 2.47 rating in people 50+ with 3.29 million viewers, while the penultimate episode of the season for FX's FARGO averaged a 0.76 in that demo with 1.31 million viewers. Finally, on Bravo, VANDERPUMP RULES was at 1.07 in W18-49 with 1.37 million viewers, VANDERPUMP AFTER SHOW was at 0.38 with 524,000 viewers, and APRES SKI had 0.42 with 586,000 viewers.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 6, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

In the first Sunday without WALKING DEAD, Bravo's REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA took victory on cable with a 1.44 A18-49 rating (2.12 rating in W18-49) and 2.99 million viewers; WORK OUT NEW YORK had a 0.51 in the W18-49 demo with 804,000 viewers. Week two of INTO THE BADLANDS, on AMC, took a big hit without its monster lead-in, down to 1.04 in the demo (1.33 skew in M18-49, the highest on cable) and down by half in viewership to 2.42 million. On E!, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS notched a 1.72 W18-49 rating with 2.31 million viewers, while scripted-series THE ROYALS was at 0.48 in that demo with 627,000 total viewers. On premium cable, Showtime's HOMELAND stayed robust with a 0.63 rating and 1.74 million viewers as THE AFFAIR ticked down to 0.25 with 833,000 viewers. The top airings for Disney Channel on the night were AUSTIN & ALLY and LIV AND MADDIE which were at 0.71 and 0.69 ratings in F12-34 and at 1.51 million and 1.53 million viewers respectively. Other scripted offerings on the night include HBO's THE LEFTOVERS (993,000) & GETTING ON (318,000), STARZ's FLESH AND BONE (122,000), as well as TNT's THE LIBRARIANS (2.24 million/1.25 rating in P50+) & AGENT X (987,000).

SATURDAY DECEMBER 5, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's coverage of COLLEGE FOOTBALL between Texas and Baylor led Saturday cable with a 1.23 18-49 rating (1.92 in M18-49, 1.58 in W18-49) with 3.94 million viewers. The USC/Stanford game was at 0.93 and 0.68 in those demos with 2.58 million viewers. A Hallmark movie JUST IN TIME 4 CHRISTMAS had a 2.59 rating in adults over 50 with 3.46 million viewers. Over at BBC America, DOCTOR WHO averaged a 0.31 rating in both adults 18-49 (0.33 in M18-49, 0.29 in W18-49) and people 12-34 (0.35 in M12-34, 0.27 in F12-34) with 852,000 viewers. Two episodes of TV Land's INSTANT MOM were at 299,000 and 312,000, and Nickelodeon's MAKE IT POP averaged 1.27 million (0.35 rating in F12-34). Other scripted programs of note include SPOTLESS (99,000) on Esquire, and THE RETURNED (72,000) on Sundance.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 4, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

GOLD RUSH, on Discovery, led the cable ratings on Friday with a 1.23 adults 18-49 rating and 4 million viewers. The program led all of broadcast and cable in men 18-49 (1.67 rating), and topped all of cable in women 18-49 (0.79 rating), and people 25-54 (1.64). ESPN's NBA BASKETBALL between Cleveland and New Orleans took second in the key demo (0.97 rating), but led all of broadcast and cable in people 18-34 (1.2 rating), and males 12-34 (1.4 rating). Disney Channel's GIRL MEETS WORLD topped the females 12-34 demo (1.08 rating) and averaged 2.07 million total viewers. BUNKD (1.5 million viewers) took third in the F12-34 demo with a 0.81 rating, while RADIO DISNEY FAMILY HOLIDAY (1.6 million viewers) took second with 0.88. Also airing on the scripted side was USA's SATISFACTION (612,000/0.22), Syfy's Z NATION (969,000/0.31), A&E's UNFORGETTABLE (921,000/0.13), and Cinemax's THE KNICK (266,000/0.05).

THURSDAY DECEMBER 3, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

NFL Network's THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL simulcast led all of Thursday cable, notching a 1.46 adults 18-49 rating (2.16 in M18-49, 1.36 in M12-34, 1.72 in P25-54) with 3.8 million total viewers. WWE SMACKDOWN, on Syfy, took second on the day with a 0.57 rating in the key demo (0.72 in M18-49, 0.71 in M12-34) and 2.04 million viewers, ranking second on the day in adults 18-34 (0.58 rating). Over on Lifetime, PROJECT RUNWAY JUNIOR had a 0.49 rating in W18-49 (0.28 in F12-34) with 1.1 million viewers, and on Bravo, TOP CHEF was at 0.41/0.22 in those demos with 841,000 viewers. In scripted, Syfy's HAVEN ticked up to a 0.15 key demo rating and averaged 626,000 viewers. Among lower-rated cables, two episodes of COMEDY BANG! BANG!, on IFC, both averaged 0.01 in the demo and were at 17,000 and 50,000 in total viewers.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 2, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL topped all of Wednesday cable, hitting a 1.2 rating in adults 18-49 (1.42 in W18-49, 1.40 in F12-34) with 2.31 million total viewers. An ANDERSON COOPER 360 episode, on CNN (not in the chart below) took second on the day with a 1.1 rating (1.45 in P25-54) with 4.56 million viewers. On Discovery, ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE had a 1.03 rating in M18-49 (1.58 in P50+) with 3.02 million viewers, and on Comedy Central, the younger-skewing SOUTH PARK had a 1.36 rating in M18-49 (1.2 in P18-34, 1.56 in M12-34) with 1.43 million viewers. VH1's COUPLES THERAPY had a 0.38 rating in W18-49 with 583,000 viewers, and on Bravo, MILLION DOLLAR LISTING LA notched a 0.48 in that demo with 1.05 million viewers. Finally, FXX's THE LEAGUE brought in 406,000 viewers for its penultimate episode, while YOU'RE THE WORST was at 175,000.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 1, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

History's CURSE OF OAK ISLAND topped Tuesday cable ratings, notching a 0.85 18-49 rating with 3.05 million viewers, and a 1.75 rating in people over 50. On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS had a 1.3 W18-49 rating with 1.91 million viewers, BELOW DECK had a 0.81 rating in that demo with 1.29 million viewers, and GIRLFRIEND'S GUIDE TO DIVORCE was at 0.5 with 707,000 viewers. On OWN, IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG averaged a 1.12 rating in women 18-49 with 2.51 million viewers, and on BET, BEING MARY JANE had a 0.93 with 1.39 million viewers. Over on USA Network, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST had a 0.58 rating in F12-34 (0.62 in W18-49) with 1.27 million viewers and DONNY! was at 0.25/0.26 in those demos with 528,000 viewers. Other series of note include: Nickelodeon's TALIA IN THE KITCHEN (1.009 million), MTV's FINDING CARTER (303,000), and WGN America's MANHATTAN (308,000).

MONDAY NOVEMBER 30, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL easily topped the Monday cable ratings averaging a 3.38 18-49 rating with 10.12 million viewers. The game led in men 18-49 (4.84 rating), males 12-34 (3.24), people 18-34 (2.75), and people 25-54 (3.86). VH1's LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD notched a 1.9 rating in W18-49 (#2nd on cable) with 2.59 million viewers, and BLACK INK CREW had a 1.36 rating in that demo with 1.93 million viewers. Three hours of USA Network's WWE SMACKDOWN were at 1.40/1.50/1.46 respectively in M18-49, and at 3.31 million/3.19 million/3.01 million viewers. Over on TNT, MAJOR CRIMES averaged 0.51 in the demo with 3.69 million viewers, and LEGENDS had a 0.14 rating with 721,000 viewers. On Bravo, VANDERPUMP RULES scored a 1.08 rating in 18-48 with 1.35 million viewers, and APRES SKI had a 0.33 with 535,000 viewers. Finally, on FX, FARGO had a 0.35 rating (0.39 in M18-49, 0.76 in P50+) with 1.32 million viewers.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 29, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

AMC's THE WALKING DEAD demolished all competition on Sunday cable bringing in a monster 7.02 adults 18-49 rating (7.7 in M18-49, 6.35 in W18-49) with 13.98 million viewers. DEAD also led all of cable in males & females 12-34 (6.83, 5.36), people 18-34 (6.38 rating), people 25-54 (7.23), people 50+ (2.79). INTO THE BADLANDS lost 4.5 from that lead-in, down to a still-positive 2.46 18-49 rating (2.8 in M18-49) with 5.17 million viewers. Looking at female-skewing networks: on Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA notched a 1.91 rating in W18-49 with 2.8 million viewers, and on E!, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS was at 1.37 in that demo with 1.98 million viewers while THE ROYALS was at 0.34 with 532,000 viewers. BET's SOUL TRAIN AWARDS had a 1.58 W18-49 rating with 3.02 million viewers and the Centric simulcast was at 0.2 in that demo with 395,000 viewers. On Showtime, HOMELAND had 1.42 million viewers, while THE AFFAIR had 916,000, and on HBO, THE LEFTOVERS had 861,000 and GETTING ON averaged 321,000. Also of note was TNT's THE LIBRARIANS (1.1 rating in P50+) which had 2.02 million viewers, and AGENT X (0.59 in P50+) which did 978,000. Finally, Nickelodeon's run of the HALO AWARDS had a 0.69 rating in F12-34 (0.3 in M12-34) with 1.79 million viewers. The awards brought in a combined 657,000 on the other four networks it aired on.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Saturday cable was very COLLEGE FOOTBALL-heavy, with three ESPN games taking the top 3 spots on the day. The Florida State/Florida game took the top spot with a 1.44 rating in the 18-49 demo (1.84 rating in M18-49) with 4.28 million viewers. Penn State/Michigan had a 1.68 M18-49 rating with 4.5 million viewers, and the Clemson/South Carolina game had a 1.23 rating in that demo with 2.94 million viewers. Outside of sports, BBC America's DOCTOR WHO notched a 0.3 18-49 rating (0.34 in W18-49, 0.31 F12-34) with 895,000 viewers, and LAST KINGDOM was at 0.09 in the demo with 371,000 viewers. Hallmark's A CHRISTMAS DETOUR notched a 1.01 rating in P25-54, and a 3.44 rating in P50+with 4.78 million viewers, while STARZ's ASH VS. EVIL DEAD had a 0.15 rating (0.21 in M18-49) with 430,000 viewers and DA VINCI'S DEMONS was at an almost invisible 0.02 rating with 191,000 viewers. Other programs of note include: Showtime's THE SPYMASTERS (201,000), Esquire's SPOTLESS (41,000), and Sundance's THE RETURNED (92,000).

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's coverage of COLLEGE FOOTBALL between Baylor and TCU easily led all of cable on Friday, notching a 1.41 adults 18-49 rating with 5.11 million total viewers. The game also led all of cable in major key demos: men 18-49 (2.04 rating), males 12-34 (1.27), people 18-34 (1.04), and people 25-54 (1.72). Discovery's GOLD RUSH led cable in women 18-49 (0.81 rating, although its M18-49 audience of 1.44 was much larger) with 3.81 million viewers, while Hallmark's CROWN FOR CHRISTMAS led in adults over 50 (3.03 rating) and averaged 4.29 million viewers. In the females 12-34 demo, Disney Channel's BEST FRIENDS WHENEVER and BUNKD took the top spots on the day averaging 0.76 and 0.73 ratings respectively and at 1.72 million and 1.73 million viewers respectively. Also on scripted was USA's SATISFACTION (493,000), Syfy's Z NATION (917,000), and Cinemax's THE KNICK (347,000). Two episodes of A&E's UNFORGETTABLE were actually quite forgettable at 839,000 & 706,000, and seven episodes of WEtv's SOUTH OF HELL ranged regressed from 0.05 in the demo at 6pm down to 0.02 at midnight. In total viewers, it hit a high of 127,000 and a low of 82,000.

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 26, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Syfy's WWE SMACKDOWN and Hallmark's original movie 12 GIFTS OF CHRISTMAS tied at the top of Thanksgiving cable ratings, each notching a 0.46 in the key 18-49 demo. SMACKDOWN led all of cable in men 18-49 (0.6 rating) and males 12-34 (0.54), while 12 GIFTS took victory on cable in women 18-49 (0.6 rating), females 12-34 (0.43), people 18-34 (0.36), people 25-54 (0.61), and people over 50 (2.22). The Hallmark movie also almost doubled SMACKDOWN's viewership (3.14 million viewers vs. 1.65 million). On scripted cable, the lone program was HAVEN, on Syfy, which averaged a 0.13 rating in adults 18-49 (0.2 in M18-49, 0.06 in W18-49) with 533,000 viewers.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 25, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Discovery's ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE topped the day on Wednesday cable, notching a 0.97 rating in the key adults 18-49 demo  with 3.63 million viewers. The program found big ratings in men 18-49 (1.1) people 25-54 (1.3) and people over 50 (1.92). REGULAR SHOW MOVIE, on Cartoon Network, brought in a respectable 0.51 rating in the key demo (0.59 in M18-49, 1.19 in M12-34, 0.58 in F12-34) with 2.17 million total viewers. Nickelodeon's NICKY, RICKY, DICKY, AND DAWN saw big returns in the female 12-34 demo, taking third on the day with its 0.57 rating (1.77 million viewers). Among the older-skewing programs, Hallmark's original movie ONCE UPON A HOLIDAY did a 0.62 rating in people 25-54, a 2.21 in people over 50, and had 3.08 million viewers. In lower-rated cables, Ovation's CELEBRITY CONVERSATIONS managed only a 0.01 rating with 23,000 viewers.

On USA, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST was down to 1.37 million viewers (from 1.6m), but DONNY! fell down to 467,000 viewers (from 558K). On Travel, BIZARRE FOODS rose to 446,000 viewers (from 409K), BOOZE TRAVELER was up 50K viewers to 373,000, and HOTEL IMPOSSIBLE fell to 308,000 viewers (from 393K). On CNBC, THE PROFIT dropped to 505,000 viewers (from 622K), and on MTV, FINDING CARTER was down over 100K viewers, to 361,000. On Velocity, BITCHIN' RIDES was up slightly to 332,000 viewers (from 323K), and CHASING CLASSIC CARS was up to 271,000 (from 198K). On FYI, MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT was even with last week's 304K, down only 1K to 303,000, and ARRANGED was up almost 100K viewers, to 401,000. FIX MY MOM, on Oxygen, was at 105,000 viewers (vs. 104K), and PRETTY. STRONG. was up to 71,000 viewers (from 48K). Among lower-rated cables, KNIFE FIGHT, on Esquire, was seen by 43,000 and 36,000 viewers for its 2 episodes (from 33K/28K), UNCORKED was at 18,000 viewers (vs. 13K), A SEASON WITH NOTRE DAME (Showtime) was at 85,000 (from 98K), INSIDE THE NFL was at 128,000 (from 117K), and finally, AMERICAN HARVEST, on RFD, doubled to 41,000 (from 20K).

MONDAY NOVEMBER 23, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD dropped down to 2.41 million viewers (from 2.7m), but BLACK INK CREW CHICAGO was up slightly to 1.75m (vs. 1.73m). On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES continued its descent, down this time to 2.49m (from 2.55m and previously 2.6m), and LEGENDS returned from its brief hiatus to 576,000 viewers. (up from 477K two weeks ago). On FX, FARGO rose to 1.24m viewers (from 1.15m) with only 3 episodes remaining this season. On MTV, a CATFISH SPECIAL was down to 441,000 viewers (from 490K), and FOLLOW THE RULES was seen by 413,000 viewers (up from 377K and 353K). On TV One, FOR MY MAN aired two episodes which were at 259,000 and 251,000 viewers, and on TruTV, SUPER INTO took a hit down to 154,000 (from 289K). Finally, on The Weather Channel, SO YOU THINK YOU'D SURVIVE was at 182,000 viewers.

THE WALKING DEAD, on AMC, dominated the night with 13.22 million viewers (from 12.87m), it was followed by INTO THE BADLANDS which had 4.83 million viewers (down from 6.39m), and TALKING DEAD was at 3.21m. On Showtime, HOMELAND rose to 1.47m viewers (from 1.35m), and THE AFFAIR was up to 844,000 (vs. 787K). On TNT, THE LIBRARIANS jumped to 2.1m viewers (from 2.89m), and AGENT X was even with last week's 1.026m. THE ROYALS, on E!, was down to 725,000 viewers (from 841K), and KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS dropped to 1.55m (from 2.47m). On HBO, THE LEFTOVERS was at 696,000 viewers (from 610K), GETTING ON was up to 262,000 (from 240K), and LAST WEEK TONIGHT concluded its second season with 778,000 viewers (from 712K). On Oxygen, SNAPPED: KILLER COUPLES  was up 10K viewers to 311,000, and RUPAULS DRAG RACE, on Logo, fell to 66,000 (from 109K). On Smithsonian, UFO'S DECLASSIFIED was down to 85,000 viewers (from 104K), and SECRETS OF THE THIRD REICH was at 103,000 viewers. Among lower-rated cables, PORTRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR, on Ovation, was down to 10,000 viewers (from 24K), and CELEBRITY CONVERSATIONS was at 9,000 and 5,000 for its two episodes (from 3K on 11/8). Finally, on SundanceTV, BEHIND THE STORY WITH THE PALEY CENTER was down to 35,000 viewers (from 42K).

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday November 21, 2015:

On BBC America, DOCTOR WHO was up to 801,000 viewers (from 645K), but LAST KINGDOM was down to 299,000 viewers (from 310K). On Hallmark, an original movie NORTH POLE: OPEN CHRISTMAS was down from last week's movie, to 3.49m viewers (vs. 3.6m), and original movie on TV One entitled ROYAL FAMILY HOLIDAY was seen by 412,000. On Starz, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD hit a series high, up to 448,000 viewers (from 383K last week), but DA VINCI'S DEMONS hit a series low 201,000 viewers (from 231K). INSTANT MOM aired two new episodes on TV Land, at 8pm and 8:30pm, which were seen by 291,000 and 317,000 respectively. Finally, among lower-rated cables, THE RETURNED, on SundanceTV, dropped to 82,000 viewers (from 127K), SPOTLESS, on Esquire, rose to 89,000 (from 68K), and ACCORDING TO ALEX was at 28,000 viewers (down from 95K).

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Friday November 20, 2015:

On Discovery, GOLD RUSH led the night in total viewers, with 3.5 million viewers (from 3.74m), and PACIFIC WARRIORS was at 1.26 million. On Syfy, Z NATION was up to 767,000 viewers (from 665K), and on USA, SATISFACTION was similar to last week's number, down only 4K viewers to 659,000. On Animal Planet, TANKED dropped to 608,000 viewers (from 687K), and REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER, on HBO, was down to 1.06m viewers (from 1.15m). Finally, on Cinemax, THE KNICK fell to 195,000 viewers (from 255K).

The SHINING A LIGHT CONCERT was simulcast on 5 different networks, and viewership ranged  from a high of 413,000 viewers on Lifetime to a low of 61,000 on FYI. Cumulatively, the show was seen by 1.2 million viewers.

On NFL Network, THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL led the night with 6.64 million viewers, down almost 1 million from las week's 7.57m. On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS rose over 100K viewers, to 756,000 (and 140K on MTV2), BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW was up to 399,000 (from 353K), and MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SHOW was seen by 197,000 viewers. On A&E, THE FIRST 48 was up to 1.35m viewers (from 1.28m), and NIGHTWATCH fell very slightly, to 1.25m (vs. 1.27m). On Syfy, HAVEN fell to 660,000 viewers (from 724K), and on TruTV, BILLY ON THE STREET was seen by 409,000. Among lower-rated cables, BENDERS, on IFC, dropped further, this time to 69,000 viewers (vs. 80K), COMEDY BANG! BANG! was down to 31,000 viewers (from 42K), and finally, on RFD, SMALL TOWN BIG DEAL was at 33,000 viewers (from 32K).

I consider every change I make on this site an improvement to what was there before, and my goals were to improve both navigation of the site, as well as the different types of ratings I provide. The first major change is the dropdown menu that can be found in the Navigation bar on the top of the page. I organized every post by Day of the Week, so it is much easier to find every post from a specific day of the week. Second, along the left side of the site, I made a clickable list of various cable TV channels. Click on any of the TV channels in this section, and all of the posts will be filtered to only include posts that have ratings from shows on that specific channel. Third, I implemented Cable Live +3 ratings posts that will be published every week. After taking a break from posting Cable DVR ratings, I have decided to switch from posting Live +7 numbers, to Live +3 numbers. Live +3 numbers are a lot easier to get a hold of, and are now the go-to numbers for networks such as AMC. Finally, I've added a "Racial Ratings" section to the blog. Each week, I will post a list of the top shows for African-Americans and Hispanics as well as the viewership for each show from both demographics. I hope you find these changes make it easier to navigate my site, and again, have a Happy Thanksgiving!

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 18, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

AMERICAN HORROR STORY, on FX, led the night in the 18-49's (1.41), and had 2.64 million viewers. On MTV, 2 new episodes of ARE YOU THE ONE? at 10pm and 11pm were seen by 887,000 and 921,000 viewers respectively. On FXX, YOU'RE THE WORST was about even with last week's 185K viewers, only up a tad to 188,000, and THE LEAGUE rose to 373,000 viewers (from 337K) with only 1 episode left until the series finale on 12/9. On Syfy, GHOST HUNTERS was at 626,000 viewers, and PARANORMAL WITNESS was at 544,000 viewers, both about even with last week's numbers. On TruTV, ROAD SPILL was seen by 184,000 and 130,000 viewers for its two episodes, and UNSUNG, on TV One, was at 341,000 (from 347K). On Velocity, OVERHAULIN' was at a massive (for the network) 504,000 viewers (from 365K), and DALLAS CAR SHARKS was up to 302,000 (from 287K). Finally, among lower-rated cables, GOING DEEP WITH DAVID REES was up slightly to 37,000 viewers (from 24K).

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Tuesday November 17, 2015:

On History, THE CURSE OF OAK ISLAND led the night with 2.56 million viewers, and HUNTING HITLER was seen by 1.66m viewers. On BET, BEING MARY JANE dropped to 1.38 million viewers (from 1.78m), and on OWN, IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG was down to 2.23 million viewers (from 2.44m). On USA, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST was down to 1.6m viewers (from 1.86m), and DONNY! was at an embarrassing 558,000 viewers (from 696K). On FX, THE BASTARD EXECUTIONER concluded to a tune of 867,000 viewers, a far cry from the 2.12m who watched the series premiere. On MTV, FINDING CARTER was down to 467,000 viewers this week (down from 544K), and TRUE LIFE was seen by 271,000. On Velocity, BITCHIN' RIDES was down to 322,000 (vs. 365K), and CHASING CLASSIC CARS dropped to 198,000 (from 265K). FIX MY MOM, on Oxygen, was at 104,000 viewers, and PRETTY STRONG was at a measly 48,000. Finally, among lower-rated cables, MANHATTAN, on WGN America, rose to 250,000 viewers (from 161K), KNIFE FIGHT, on Esquire, was at 33,000 and 28,000 for its two episodes (vs. 40K/28K), and UNCORKED was at 13,000 viewers (from 19K).

On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD was up to 2.7 million viewers (from 2.61m), but BLACK INK CREW CHICAGO was down to 1.73m viewers (from 2.03m). On MTV, CATFISH was at 490,000 viewers, TRUE LIFE PRESENTS was at 278,000, and FOLLOW THE RULES 377,000 and 353,000 viewers for its two episodes (from 351K/341K). On TNT (LEGENDS didn't air), MAJOR CRIMES was down slightly yo 2.55m viewers (from 2.6m), and FARGO, on FX, was at 1.15m viewers (from 1.13m). On TV One, FOR MY MAN dipped to 341,000 viewers (from 368K), and FATAL ATTRACTION was up to 273,000 (from 245K). On Fox Business, STRANGE INHERITANCE was at 61,000 and 113,000 viewers for its two episodes (from 243K/253K/199K/143K for its 4 episodes on 11/11). On AMC, THE WALKING DEAD led the night with 12.87 million viewers (from 12.44m), a massive lead-in for the network's new show INTO THE BADLANDS which premiered to 6.39 million viewers, dropping half of the viewers from its lead-in. On Showtime, HOMELAND was identical to last week's 1.35 million viewers, but the THE AFFAIR dropped to 787,000 viewers (from 891K). On HBO, LAST WEEK TONIGHT led with 712,000 viewers, a 200K viewer drop-off from last week's 914K, THE LEFTOVERS was down slightly to 610,000 (from 636K), and GETTING ON dipped in its second week of the season, to 240,000 (vs. 269K). On TNT, THE LIBRARIANS was at 1.89 million viewers (from 1.95m), and AGENT X was at 1.03m viewers (down from the 1.28m for last week's 9pm episode, but up from last week's 1.02m at 10pm). On Starz, FLESH AND BONE was down in its second week, to 147,000 viewers (from 190K), and on Logo, RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE was 10K viewers, to 109K. Among lower-rated cables, BEHIND THE STORY WITH THE PALEY CENTER, on SundanceTV, was at 42,000 viewers (from 37K), THE DIRECTOR'S CHAIR, on El Rey, was seen by 50,000 viewers, and PORTRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR, on Ovation, more than doubled to 24,000 viewers (vs. 11K).

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On Hallmark, an original movie I'M NOT READY 4 CHRISTMAS was down slightly from last week's movie, to 3.6m viewers (from 3.73m). On BBC America, DOCTOR WHO fell to 645,000 viewers from 912K (its lowest since Halloween), but LAST KINGDOM was actually up, to 310,000 viewers (from 274K). On Starz, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD was up in its third week, to 383,000 viewers (from 276K last week, but down from the 437K for the premiere), and DA VINCI'S DEMONS was at 231,000 viewers (on par with last week's 233K). INSTANT MOM, on TV Land, was at 177,000 and 167,000 for its two episodes, and on Nat Geo Wild, DR. K'S EXOTIC ANIMAL ER was up to 490,000 viewers (from 455K). Finally, among lower-rated cables, THE RETURNED, on SundanceTV, was up to 127,000 viewers (from 100K), and SPOTLESS, on Esquire, began with 68,000 viewers.

NOTE: Below the normal rating chart, I included an extended list of all cable news telecasts that aired coverage of the terrorist attacks in Paris. I included listings from MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, in order to cover the whole spectrum of political skews.

FRIDAY CABLES: On Disney, GIRL MEETS WORLD led the night in scripted shows, with 2.15 million viewers (down from 2.51m last week), and BUNKD was at 1.79m (from 1.82m). On Syfy, Z NATION took a hit, down to 665,000 viewers (from 835K), and on Animal Planet, TANKED rose over 100K viewers, to 687,000 (vs. 580K). On USA, SATISFACTION was on par with last week, with 663,000 viewers (vs. 668K), and on Cinemax, THE KNICK was up to a better number: 255,000 viewers (from 166K).

THURSDAY NOVEMBER 12, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

The THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game on NFL Network led the night on cable with 7.57 million viewers, down over 1m from last week's 8.79m, and A FOOTBALL LIFE which aired afterwards was seen by 1.28m viewers. On A&E, THE FIRST 48 was down slightly to 1.28m viewers (from 1.37m), but NIGHTWATCH moved in the other direction, up to 1.27m viewers (from 1.15m). On Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF OC was at 1.93m and 1.08m for its 2 episodes, and on Syfy, HAVEN was down to 724,000 viewers this week (from 796K). On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS was down a bit to 644,000 viewers (from 688K), and BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW dropped to 353,000 (from 413K). I LOVE KELLIE PICKLER, on CMT, dropped hugely to 397,000 viewers (from last week's 705K/645K). On WeTV, BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES was down to 384,000 (from 448K), and SELLING IT IN THE ATL inched up to 332,000 (from 310K). Among lower-rated cables, BENDERS, on IFC, dropped to a more normal 80,000 viewers (vs. 144K), COMEDY BANG! BANG! was at 42,000 (from 54K), and finally, SMALL TOWN BIG DEAL, on RFD, was at 32,000 viewers (from 53K).

African-American and Hispanic Nielsen Ratings: Week Ending November 1, 2015

Select Ratings from Original telecasts for week ending November 1, 2015:

I did get full African-American ratings this week; however, I only received limited Hispanic data, which is in the second table. On Fox, THE WORLD SERIES won in both African-American and Hispanic households. GAME 1 was seen by 1.22m AA viewers (8%) and 1.75m Hispanic viewers (12%), GAME 2 was at 1.25m (9%) and 1.36m (10%), GAME 3 was at 1.11m (8%) and 1.37m (10%), GAME 4 was at 1.16m (9%) and 1.49m (11%), and finally, GAME 5 was the highest, at 1.67m (10%) and 1.81m (11%). On ABC, SCANDAL led the scripted shows with 2.61m AA viewers (33%), and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER had 2.31m AA viewers (30%). On BET, BEING MARY JANE had 1.62m AA viewers which represented a whopping 91% of its total viewers, and HOUSE OF PAYNE had 890,000 AA viewers. Finally, on OWN, IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG had 2.22m (91%), and IYANLA, FIX MY LIFE was at 668,000 viewers (92%).

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 11, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On FX, AMERICAN HORROR STORY led the night in the 18-49s (1.4) and was seen by 2.64m viewers (down from 2.87m last week), way down from the 5.81m for the premiere 6 weeks ago. On FXX, THE LEAGUE was down to 337,000 viewers (from 452K), and YOU'RE THE WORST was at a much lower 185,000 (vs. 234K). On Syfy, PARANORMAL WITNESS rose to 546,000 (from 507K), and GHOST HUNTERS was down to 627,000 (from 702K). On MTV, ARE YOU THE ONE? was up to 728,000 viewers (from 670K), and on CNBC, JAY LENO'S GARAGE was down to 514,000 (from 561K). On Velocity, OVERHAULIN' was at 365,000 viewers this week (right between the 389K/317K for last week's episodes), and DALLAS CAR SHARKS returned to 287,000 viewers (way up from the 191K from 10/28). Among lower-rated cables, BIG FREEDIA, on Fuse, rose 20K viewers to 139,000, and GOING DEEP WITH DAVID REES began its second season with 24,000 viewers.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On Fox Business, THE REPUBLICAN DEBATE was seen by 13.45m viewers, down from the 14.01m viewers for the CNBC debate in October, and from the 24m that saw the Fox News debate in August. On BET, BEING MARY JANE led the night in the 18-49s (0.91) and had 1.78 million viewers (up from 1.45m), and on OWN, IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG was at 2.44m viewers (from 2.29m) and 0.76 in the 18-49s. On USA, CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST returned to 1.86m viewers (on par with the 1.77m/1.88m for the most recent episode on 7/21), and DONNY! began with a small 696,000 viewers. On FX, THE BASTARD EXECUTIONER dropped to 816,000 viewers (from 1.08m) with only 1 episode left on the season, and on MTV, FINDING CARTER was up to 544,000 (from 401K). On Velocity, BITCHIN' RIDES was at 365,000 viewers (from 396K/351K for last week's 2 episodes), and CHASING CLASSIC CARS was at 265,000 (up from 243K and 186K on 11/2). Among lower-rated cables, MANHATTAN, on WGN America, dropped to 161,000 (from 335K), and on Esquire, KNIFE FIGHT began its season with 40K/28K for its 2 episodes (down from 89K on 7/14), and UNCORKED began with a mere 19,000 viewers.

On ESPN, the NFL GAME (Chicago/San Diego) was at 11.44 million viewers, down from the 12.4m for the Indianapolis/Carolina game last week. On MTV, AWKWARD was seen by 779,000 viewers at 9pm, and 737,000 viewers at 9:30pm (both down from 810K last week), and FOLLOW THE RULES was seen by 351,000 at 10pm and 341,000 at 10:30pm (both up from 240K). On FX, FARGO dropped to 1.13m viewers (from 1.28m), and on TruTV, SUPER INTO fell to 238,000 viewers (from 363K). On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES was up to 2.6m viewers (from 2.22m), and LEGENDS was at a dismal 477,000 viewers (from 676K). On TV One, FOR MY MAN was up to 368,000 (from 326K), and FATAL ATTRACTION was at 245,000. Finally, among lower-rated cables, GIGI DOES IT, on IFC, was at 70,000 viewers (from 75K).

African-American and Hispanic Nielsen Ratings: Week Ending October 25, 2015

Introducing Race Data! Although it will not be published frequently, whenever I can get a hold of some data based on race, I will publish it here. The table is organized based on African-American household rating, and both Cable and Broadcast shows are mixed together. In the table you can find the total number of African-American viewers for various shows during the week of October 19-25, 2015.

On FOX, EMPIRE led the week in African-American viewing, with 8.66 million AA viewers, which represented about 71% of its total 12.28 million viewers. ROSEWOOD, on the same network was a bit more modest, with only 2.99m AA viewers, although this did represent 57% of its total viewers. On ABC, every SHONDALAND show made the list with SCANDAL leading (2.90m / 29%), followed by HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER (2.52m / 36%), and finally GREY'S ANATOMY (1.46m / 16%).  On BET, two episodes of BEING MARY JANE registered at 2.05m AA viewers (92%), and 1.94m viewers (88%). OWN had several notables on the list: IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG scored with 1.84m AA viewers, LEGENDS: LIVE AT THE APOLLO had 742,000, and IYANLA, FIX MY LIFE 607,000. Other notables on the list were WALKING DEAD (1.38m / 11%), THE VOICE (909,000 / 8%), and THE SIMPSONS (1.48m / 22%).

On AMC, THE WALKING DEAD obviously led the night with 12.44 million viewers (down from 13.34m), and TALKING DEAD was up 300K viewers, to 4.94m). On HBO, THE LEFTOVERS was up to 636,000 viewers (from 625K), GETTING ON began its third season (& final) season with 269,000 viewers (up form 209K for the second season finale), and LAST WEEK TONIGHT led the HBO night with 914,000 viewers (way up from 690K last week). On Showtime, HOMELAND was up to 1.35m viewers (from 1.3m), and THE AFFAIR was up about the same amount, to 891,000 (from 859K). On TNT, THE LIBRARIANS was identical to last week's 9pm episode's 1.951m viewers, but down from the 2.25m of the 8pm episode, and AGENT X began with 1.28m viewers at 9pm, and 1.01m viewers at 10pm. On Starz, FLESH AND BONE began with 190,000 viewers, and on Oxygen, SNAPPED: KILLER COUPLES was down to 281,000 viewers (from 313K). Finally, among lower-rated cables, BEHIND THE STORY WITH THE PALEY CENTER, on SundanceTV, began its second season with 37,000 viewers, and on Ovation, PORTRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR was up (albeit very slightly) to 11,000 viewers (from 6K), and CELEBRITY CONVERSATIONS was at mere 3,000 total viewers.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday November 7, 2015:

On Hallmark, an original movie ICE SCULPTURE CHRUSTMAS led the night with 3.73 million viewers. On BBC America, DOCTOR WHO rose hugely to 912,000 viewers (from 585K on Halloween night), and LAST KINGDOM was on par with last week's number, up only 4K viewers, to 274,000. On Starz, ASH VS. EVIL DEAD fell to 276,000 viewers in its second episode (from 437K), and DA VINCI'S DEMONS fell slightly to 233,000 viewers in its third episode (from 250K).  On Nat Geo Wild, VET SCHOOL fell to 281,000 viewers (from 346K), and DR. K'S EXOTIC ANIMAL ER rose to 455,000 (from 332K). INSTANT MOM, on TV Land, aired two new episodes at 8pm and 8:30pm which registered at 268,000 and 246,000 respectively. Finally, among lower-rated cables, ACCORDING TO ALEX, on Centric, dropped to 47,000 viewers (from 110K), and THE RETURNED, on SundanceTV, was down to 100,000 viewers (from 123K).

On Disney Channel, GIRL MEETS WORLD was seen by 2.51 million viewers, and BUNK'D was at 1.82m viewers. On Animal Planet, TANKED was at 580,000 viewers, and RESTORATION WILD was seen by 496,000. On Discovery, GOLD RUSH fell very slightly to 3.52 million viewers (from 3.58m), and PACIFIC WARRIORS was up to 1.24 million viewers (from 1.19m). On Syfy, Z NATION fell to 835,000 viewers (from 868K), and on USA, SATISFACTION rose over 100K viewers to 686,000 (from 543K). AMERICAN GREED, on CNBC, was at 340,000 viewers, and THE SOUP, on E! (which ends its run in December), was down to 241,000 (from 343K). Finally, on Cinemax, THE KNICK dropped to 166,000 viewers (from 202K).

On NFL Network, the CLEVELAND/CINCINNATI game won the night with 8.79 million viewers, and a massive (for cable) 3.06 18-49 rating. On A&E, THE FIRST 48 began its season with 1.37 million viewers, and NIGHT WATCH started with 1.15m. On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS was seen by 688,000 viewers (from 667K), and BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW was about even with last week's 419K, with 413,000. On Lifetime, PROJECT RUNWAY was second on the night in 18-49's (0.78), and total viewers (2.52m), and FASHIONABLY LATE was down to 833,000 (from 867K). On WeTV, SELLING IT IN THE ATL was seen by 310,000 viewers, and BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES was a little bit higher, at 448,000. On Syfy, HAVEN was up to 796,000 viewers (from 645K), and THE HAUNTING OF, on LMM, was at 372,000 (from 450K). On CMT, I LOVE KELLIE PICKLER was at 705,000/645,000 viewers, and DON'T BE TARDY, on Bravo, was down to 743,00 (from 785K).  On Velocity, FANTOMWORKS had 198,000 viewers at 9pm, and 295,000 at 10pm, down from the 2 most recent episodes on August 5 (361K and 409K). Finally, among lower-rated cables, BENDERS, on IFC, was up to a huge 144,000 viewers (from 65K), and COMEDY BANG! BANG! rose to 54,000 viewers (from 25K).

On Lifetime, LITTLE WOMEN LA REUNION was seen by 1.01 million viewers, and the LITTLE WOMEN LA SPECIAL was lower, with only 752,000 viewers. On MTV, ARE YOU THE ONE? was up slightly to 670,000 viewers (from 618K), and on VH1, COUPLES THERAPY fell slightly to 552,000 viewers (from 586K). On Syfy, PARANORMAL WITNESS dropped 80K viewers to 507,000, and GHOST HUNTERS fell 200K viewers, to 702,000. On FXX, THE LEAGUE was up to 452,000 viewers (from 405K), and YOU'RE THE WORST was seen by 234,000 viewers (from 240K). On TV One, UNSUNG was at 380,000 viewers, even with last week's 446K and 301K. On CNBC, JAY LENO'S GARAGE was seen by 561,000 (from 556K on 10/21). and on BET, THE WESTBROOKS fell to 395,000 viewers (from 478K). On Velocity, OVERHAULIN' was began its season with 389,000 viewers at 9pm, and 317,000 at 10pm. Among lower-rated cables, BIG FREEDIA, on Fuse, was even with last week's 119,000 viewers, TRANSCENDENT was up to 97,000 viewers (from 66K), and on RFD, PROFESSIONAL ROUGHSTOCK SERIES was at a mere 20,000 viewers.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On BET, BEING MARY JANE led the night in the 18-49's (0.63) and pulled in 1.45 million viewers (down from 1.79m last week). on Oxygen, BAD GIRLS CLUB concluded its 14th season with 838,000 viewers (from 705K), FIX MY MOM was seen by 335,000 (up from 275K), and PRETTY. STRONG. fell to a low 127,000 viewers (from 150K). On FX, THE BASTARD EXECUTIONER came back from its one week hiatus to a tune of 1.08 million viewers (from 833K on 10/20), and on E!, BOTCHED gained some momentum, up to 888,000 viewers (from 812K). On A&E, STORAGE WARS was seen by 1.56m/1.51m for its two episodes, and STORAGE WARS MIAMI was about 500K viewers lower, with 957,000 viewers. On Bravo, BELOW DECK was second in the 18-49's for the night (0.62) and had 1.47m viewers (from 1.46m), and THE PEOPLE'S COUCH was much lower with 736,000 viewers (from 532K), and  0.32 in the 18-49's. On Velocity, BITCHIN' RIDES was at 396,000 viewers for its 9pm episode, and 351,000 for the 10pm one (both up from the 350K last week). On MTV, FINDING CARTER was down to 401,000 viewers (from 488K), and on Spike, SWEAT, INC. dropped to 183,000 (from 265K). On WGN America, MANHATTAN rose to a season-high 335,000 viewers (from 256K), and on RFD, AMERICAN HARVEST was at a very low 32,000 viewers.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday November 2, 2015:

On ESPN, the MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME led the night, and was up slightly this week, to 12.4 million viewers (from 12.2m). On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD fell slightly to 2.6 million viewers (from 2.67m), and BLACK INK CREW CHICAGO was up about 100K viewers, to 1.9m. On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES returned to 2.22 million viewers, and LEGENDS came back for its second season with 676,000 viewers (way down from the 1.08m for the season 1 finale on 10/8/14). MTV had a solid night of originals including AWKWARD (810,000), FAKING IT (515,000), FOLLOW THE RULES (240,000), and GIRL CODE LIVE (166,000). On FX, FARGO was up to 1.28 million viewers (from 1.2m), and on TruTV, SUPER INTO jumped to 363,000 viewers (from 203K). On Cinemax, an airing of the movie OUIJA was seen by 176,000 viewers, a bit lower than the Cinemax original series'; however, the 18-49 rating (0.10) is about twice the size of the Cinemax scipted average. Among lower-rated cables, the season finale of THE WEAPON HUNTER (Smithsonian) was seen by 118,000, and an episode of GIGI DOES IT (IFC) fell back down to a normal 75,000 viewers (from last week's unusual 144K).

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On AMC, THE WALKING DEAD won the night with 13.34 million viewers (from 13.14m), and TALKING DEAD fell to 4.64m viewers (from 6.2m). On TNT, THE LIBRARIANS was seen by 2.25 million viewers at 8pm, and 1.95m at 9pm, way down the from 3.03m for the first season finale. On Showtime, HOMELAND fell to 1.3 million viewers (from 1.63m), and THE AFFAIR fell 10K viewers, to 859,000. On HBO, THE LEFTOVERS rose over 100K viewers, to 625,000 (from 519K), PROJECT GREENLIGHT was up to 205,000 viewers (from 143K), and LAST WEEK TONIGHT returned from a 2-week hiatus, to 690,000. On Spike, BAR RESCUE fell to 712,000 viewers (from 843K), and PARTS UNKNOWN, on CNN, was down to 445,000 (from 526K). Among lower rated cables, AIR WARRIORS, on Smithsonian, fell to 67,000 viewers (from 162K), 3 SCIENTISTS WALK INTO A BAR, on Weather, fell to 119,000 viewers (from 150K), and PORTRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR was at a mere 6,000 viewers.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 31, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday October 31, 2015:

On Halloween night, BBC America, DOCTOR WHO fell a massive 400K viewers, to 585,000 (from 988K), and LAST KINGDOM was down to 270,000 (from 406K). On Starz, DA VINCI'S DEMONS was up a bit to 250,000 viewers (from 238K), and ASH VS. EVIL DEAD began with 437,000 viewers (up from the 233K for the sneak preview on Halloween). On TV Land, INSTANT MOM was seen by 295,000 and 313,000 for its two episodes, and on Centric, ACCORDING TO ALEX was up to 110,000 viewers (from 92K). On National Geographic Wild, VET SCHOOL was seen by 346,000 (from 344K), and DR. K'S EXOTIC ANIMAL ER fell to 332,000 (from 421K). On SundanceTV, THE RETURNED came back to SundanceTV for its second season, with 123,000 viewers, and since the first season aired in 2013, there is no ratings data from the first season to compare to. Finally, on Reelz, FAME KILLS dropped to 118,000 viewers (from 181K), and BEHIND THE SCREAMS dropped dramatically to 41,000 (from 145K).

FRIDAY OCTOBER 30, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Friday October 30, 2015:

On Lifetime, STEP IT UP was up slightly to 535,000 viewers (from 522K), and JACKSONS: NEXT GENERATION fell to 413,000 viewers (from 584K). On Syfy, Z NATION was up over 100K viewers, to 868,000 (from 763K), and on Animal Planet, TANKED was up to 586,000 viewers (from 541K). On USA, SATISFACTION dropped to 543,000 viewers (from 722K), and on HBO, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER was seen by 983,000. On Starz, an ASH VS. EVIL DEAD sneak preview was seen by 233,000 viewers, and on Destination America, EXORCISM LIVE! did very well for the network, bringing in 509,000. Finally, on Cinemax, THE KNICK was down to 202,000 viewers (from 229K) for its third episode of the season.

THURSDAY OCTOBER 29, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On NFL Network, the MIAMI/NEW ENGLAND game led the night in 18-49 and in total viewers, with 1.30 and 2.99 million respectively. On Lifetime, PROJECT RUNWAY was down to 2.29 million viewers (from 2.52m), but FASHIONABLY LATE was up to 867,000 viewers (from 789K). On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS dropped to 667,000 viewers (from 835K), BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW dropped to 419,000 (from 496K), and MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SHOW was up 20K viewers, to 271,000. On TruTV, BILLY ON THE STREET was down to 334,000 viewers (from 396K), and NATHAN FOR YOU was seen by 340,000. On CMT, PARTY DOWN SOUTH was at 456,000 & 279,000 for its two episodes (from 390K), and on Syfy, HAVEN was up to 646,000 (from 585K). Among lower-rated cables, FLUFFY BREAKS EVEN, on Fuse, was seen by 103,000, and SMALL DOWN BIG DEAL, on RFD, registered 0 viewers at 1:30am. Finally, on IFC, BENDERS fell slightly to 65,000 viewers (from 72K), but COMEDY BANG! BANG! rose to 25,000 viewers (from 11K).

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 28, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On CNBC, the REPUBLICAN DEBATE won the night with 14.01 million viewers, and THE PROFIT was artificially inflated by the debate, bringing in 1.92 million (way up from the 526K for the most-recent episode on July 14). On FX, AMERICAN HORROR STORY fell slightly to 3.04 million viewers (from 3.2m), and on FXX, THE LEAGUE rose to 405,000 viewers (from 329K), and YOU'RE THE WORST recovered a bit, up to 240,000 (from 182K). On TruTV, THE CARBONARO EFFECT rose to 574,000 viewers (from 538K), but ROAD SPILL was down to 240,000 viewers (from 280K). On TV One, UNSUNG was at 446,000/301,000 viewers for its two episodes, and on Oxygen, SNAPPED: SHE MADE ME DO IT dropped to 157,000 viewers (from 235K). On Syfy, GHOST HUNTERS was up slightly to 902,000 (from 895K), and PARANORMAL WITNESS was up to 587,000 (from 510K). On Velocity, GRAVEYARD CARZ dropped to 161,000 viewers (from 220K), and DALLAS CAR SHARKS was up to 191,000 (from 146K). Among lower-rated cables, BIG FREEDIA was down to 119,000 viewers (from 167K), and TRANSCENDENT fell slightly to 66,000 viewers (from 71K).

TUESDAY OCTOBER 27, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Tuesday October 27, 2015:

On BET, BEING MARY JANE dropped to 1.79 million viewers, from the 2.2m/2.24m it had last week, and on OWN, IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG was up to 2.44m viewers (from 2.02m). On Oxygen, BAD GIRLS CLUB jumped to 705,000 viewers (from 521K), FIX MY MOM began with 270,000 viewers, and PRETTY STRONG fell very slightly to 150,000 (from 155K). On Spike, INK MASTER was at 768,000 viewers, and SWEAT INC was down to 265,000 viewers (from 274K). On MTV, FINDING CARTER was up to 488,000 viewers (from 357K), and on TruTV, ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING fell over 100K viewers, to 422,000. On ABC Family, MONICA THE MEDIUM rose to 626,000 viewers (from 531K), and BOTCHED, on E!, dropped hugely to 812,000 viewers (from 1.002m). On Velocity, GARAGE SQUAD rose to 346,000 viewers (from 304K) for its season finale, and BITCHIN' RIDES was up to 350,000 (from 323K). Among lower-rated cables, MANHATTAN, on WGN America, was up to 256,000 viewers (from 191K), and FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, on El Rey, was up very slightly to 39,000 viewers (from 26K) for its season finale. Finally, on BounceTV, FAMILY TIME was on par with last week's episode, down slightly to 440,000 (from 445K).

On ESPN, the BALTIMORE/ARIZONA NFL Game dominated the night with 12.2 million viewers (down slightly from 13.9 million viewers). On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD was down slightly to 2.67 million viewers (from 2.75m), and BLACK INK CREW CHICAGO was seen by 1.8 million viewers. On FX, FARGO was up from 962,000 viewers, to 1.21 million viewers. On MTV, AWKWARD dropped to 631,000 viewers (from 707K), FAKING IT was down to 441,000 (from 508K), and FOLLOW THE RULES was at 380,000. On TV One, FOR MY MAN was at 298,000 viewers, and on TruTV, SUPER INTO was at 203,000 viewers. On Travel, FOOD PARADISES was seen by 238,000 viewers, and UNCOMMON GROUNDS was up to 242,000 viewers (from 150K). Finally, on IFC, GIGI DOES IT took a huge jump, up to 144,000 viewers (from 28K).

On AMC, WALKING DEAD won the night with 13.14 million viewers (up from 12.18m), and TALKING DEAD was up to 6.2 million viewers (from 4.31m).  On Showtime, HOMELAND was up hugely to 1.63m viewers (from 1.11m), and THE AFFAIR was up over 200K viewers, to 869,000. On HBO, THE LEFTOVERS fell to 519,000 viewers (from 777K), but PROJECT GREENLIGHT was much lower, at 143,000 (from 212K). On CNN, PARTS UNKNOWN was up to 526,000 (from 433K), and on Oxygen, SNAPPED: KILLER COUPLES was up to 367,000 viewers (from 248K). Among lower rated cables, AIR WARRIORS, on Smithsonian, jumped to 162,000 viewers (from 85K), and ART BREAKERS, and PORTRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR (both on Ovation), were up to 15,000 viewers (from 6K), and 7,000 (from 2K) viewers respectively.

SATURDAY OCTOBER 24, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On ABC Family, the movie MONSTERS UNIVERSITY pulled in a massive 2.18 million viewers, higher than any of their scripted shows since the most recent episode of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. On BBC America, DOCTOR WHO was up to 988,000 viewers (from 910K), and LAST KINGDOM was up hugely to 406,000 (from 261K). On Starz, SURVIVOR'S REMORSE and BLUNT TALK concluded their seasons; the former with 324,000 viewers (up from 235K), and the latter with 161,000 (from 136K). DA VINCI'S DEMONS began its third and final season with 238,000 viewers (down from 435K for the second season finale).  On TV Land, INSTANT MOM was at 199,000/232,000 for its two episodes, and on Centric, ACCORDING TO ALEX was down to 92,000 (from 132K). On Spike, JAIL: LAS VEGAS was at 1.2 million viewers, and COPS was up to 1.48 million (from 1.13m).  On Reelz, FAME KILLS was up to 181,000 (from 110K), and BEHIND THE SCREAMS was up to 145,000 (from 75K). Finally, on Fuse, REVEALED began its run with a mild 27,000 viewers.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 23, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

On FS1, the TORONTO/KANSAS CITY baseball game led the night with 5.63 million viewers & a 1.38 18-49 rating. On Syfy, Z NATION fell to 763,000 viewers (from 841K), and SATISFACTION, on USA, dropped to 722,000 (from 818K). On WeTV, KENDRA ON TOP was at 632,000/656,000 viewers for its two episodes, and TANKED, on Animal Planet was at 586,000 viewers. On Lifetime, STEP IT UP rose to 522,000 viewers (from 470K), and JACKSONS: NEXT GENERATION was seen by 584,000. On A&E, MY HAUNTED HOUSE was down to 628,000 viewers (from 682K), and THE ENFIELD HAUNTING rose to 424,000 (from 400K). Finally, on Cinemax, THE KNICK was down in its second episode of the season, to 229,000 (from 269K).

On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS was up dramatically to 835,000 viewers (from 602K), BROKE A$$ GAME SHOW was up to 496,000 (from 369K), and MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SHOW was at 251,000. On TruTV, IMPRACTICAL JOKERS fell to 710,000 (from 978K), and BILLY ON THE STREET dropped to 396,000 (from 444K). On TBS, the NEW YORK/CHICAGO baseball game on TBS led the night with 7.94m viewers, and the KANSAS CITY/TORONTO game on FS1, was seen by 2.58m. On FX, AMERICAN HORROR STORY was down to 3.2 million viewers (from 4.06m), and on FXX, THE LEAGUE dropped to 329,000 viewers (from 440K), and YOU'RE THE WORST was up 50K viewers to 182,000. On MTV, ARE YOU THE ONE fell to 592,000 viewers (from 756K), and COUPLE'S THERAPY, on VH1, rose to 528,000 (from 418K). On TruTV, CARBONARO EFFECT was at 538,000 viewers (vs. 572K), and ROAD SPILL was at 280,000 (from 198K). On Fuse, BIG FREEDIA was up 60K viewers to 167,000, and TRANSCENDENT was up very slightly to 79,000 (from 71K). On BET, BEING MARY JANE led the night in non-sports programming with a 0.93 18-49 rating (2.2m viewers) at 9pm, and a 0.98 rating (2.24m) at 10pm. People seemed to be more interested in the Mets game on TBS (9.22m viewers) than the Royals game on FS1 (2.6m), although both are still fantastic numbers for their respective networks. On ABC Family, STITCHERS returned to 491,000 viewers, and MONICA THE MEDIUM was seen by 531,000. On OWN, IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG was up to 2.02m viewers (from 1.97m), and BELIEF was up to 479,000 viewers (from 377K on Monday). On Oxygen, BAD GIRLS CLUB was up 20K viewers to 521,000, and PRETTY STRONG was up 10K viewers to 155,000. On TruTV, ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING was up to 526,000 (from 488K), but SIX DEGREES OF EVERYTHING fell to 160,000 (from 288K). On Velocity, BITCHIN RIDES was up very slightly to 323,000 (from 319K), but GARAGE SQUAD dipped to 304,000 (from 316K). On Travel, HOTEL IMPOSSIBLE was up to 312,000 viewers (from 201K), BIZARRE FOODS was up to 427,000 (from 300K), and BOOZE TRAVELER was up to 302,000 (vs. 191K). Among lower-rated cables, MANHATTAN, on WGN America, dropped to 191,000 viewers in its second episode of the season (but up to 0.04 in the 18-49's vs. 0.03), and FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, on El Rey was at 26,000 (from 33K). Finally, on BounceTV, FAMILY TIME was up to 445,000 viewers (from 330K).

MONDAY OCTOBER 19, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday October 19, 2015:

On VH1, LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD led the night in non-sports related content in the 18-49's (1.37) and had 2.75m viewers (up from 2.56m), and BLACK INK CREW was up to 2.53m (from 2.07m). On ABC Family, SWITCHED AT BIRTH was up over 200K viewers to 952,000 with the season finale airing next Monday. MTV had a solid night with AWKWARD (707,000), FAKING IT (508,000), GIRL CODE LIVE (187,000), and TODRICK (169,000), with all except TODRICK up from last week. On FX, FARGO dropped almost 600K viewers in its second episode of the season, down to 962,000 viewers (and 0.27 in the 18-49's vs. 0.48 last week), and UNCOMMON GROUNDS, on Travel, fell to 150,000 (from 215K). Among lower-rated cables, GIGI DOES IT, on IFC, began its Monday run with a mere 28,000 viewers (albeit was still up from 20K from the most recent Thursday episode), and THE WEAPON HUNTER, on Smithsonian, fell to 39,000 viewers (from 65K).

SUNDAY OCTOBER 18, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Sunday October 18, 2015:

AMC obviously led the night with 12.18m turning in for THE WALKING DEAD, and 4.31m of them sticking around for TALKING DEAD. On HBO, THE LEFTOVERS led the HBO night in 18-49's (0.38) and in total viewers with 777,000, but LAST WEEK TONIGHT wasn't war behind with 0.31/716,000 (from 704K). Also on the network was PROJECT GREENLIGHT with 212,000 viewers (from 141K), and the season finale of DOLL & EM with 75,000 (vs. 89K). On Showtime, HOMELAND slipped a bit coming in with 0.37 in the 18-49's and 1.11m viewers (down from 1.396m), but THE AFFAIR rebounded up 101K viewers to 648,000 and 0.18 in the 18-49's. Discovery also had a solid night with NAKED AND AFRAID (1.47m) and ALASKA: THE LAST FRONTIER (2.44m). On Oxygen, SNAPPED: KILLER COUPLES was seen by 248,000, and on CNN, PARTS UNKNOWN attracted 433,000 (down from 510K). Among lower-rated cables, 3 SCIENTISTS WALK INTO A BAR, on The Weather Channel, was at 193,000, and AIR WARRIORS, on Smithsonian, was down 10K viewers to 85,000. Finally, on Ovation, ART BREAKERS fell massively to 6,000 viewers (from 34K), and PORTRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR began with a weak 2,000 viewers.

On BBC America, DOCTOR WHO fell slightly to 910,000 viewers (from 936K), and LAST KINGDOM fell to 241,000 (from 393K). On Nat Geo Wild, VET SCHOOL was down to 297,000 viewers (from 395K), and DR. K's EXOTIC ANIMAL ER was down to 460,000 (from 521K). On Centric, ACCORDING TO ALEX began with 132,000 viewers, and ALASKA MONSTERS, on Destination America, was at 216,000 (from 239K). On Lifetime, STEP IT UP was at 470,000 viewers (from 554K), and JACKSON: NEXT GENERATION was at 429,000. On Syfy, Z NATION was down slightly to 841,000 viewers (from 882K), and CONTINUUM fell a bit to 347,000 (from 374K). KENDRA ON TOP on WeTV, was seen by 528,000 and 642,000 for its two episodes. On USA Network, SATISFACTION was at 818,000 viewers (down from 1.34m for the first season finale), and on HBO, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER was up to 1.12m (from 911K). On FX, AMERICAN HORROR STORY was down to 4.06m viewers (from 5.81m), and on FXX, THE LEAGUE was at 440,000 viewers (from 368K), but YOU'RE THE WORST fell to 132,000 viewers (from 198K). On MTV, TEEN MOM was down to 973,000 viewers (from 1.11m), and ARE YOU THE ONE? was up to 756,000 viewers (from 695K). On ABC Family, YOUNG & HUNGRY was at 629,000/546,000 viewers for its two episodes, and a special entitled "BARING IT ALL" was seen by 138,000. On Fuse, BIG FREEDIA was down to 107,000 viewers (from 167K), but TRANSCENDENT was up to 79,000 viewers (from 54K). On Velocity, GRAVEYARD CARZ was up to 250,000 viewers (from 185K), and DALLAS CAR SHARKS fell very slightly to 192,000 (from 197K). On Oxygen, BAD GIRLS CLUB was down 200k viewers to 501,000 viewers, and PRETTY STRONG was down to 145,000 viewers (from 227K). On FX, THE BASTARD EXECUTIONER fell to 942,000 viewers (from 1.12m), and on CNBC, THE FILTHY RICH GUIDE was at 204,000 viewers (from 286K). On Velocity, BITCHIN RIDES was down to 319,000 viewers (from 412K), and GARAGE SQUAD was up to 316,000 viewers (from 246K). Among lower-rated cables, MANHATTAN, on WGN America, began its second season with 265,000 viewers, down from the 904K for the series premiere, and from the 378K for the first season finale, and on El Rey, FROM DUSK TILL DAWN was down slightly to 33,000 viewers (from 40K). The Agent (Esquire): Ratings Recap

Esquire's 'The Agent' premiered August 11, 2015 to a 0.03 A18-49 rating and 51,000 viewers. It rose to a series-high 0.04 rating with 90,000 viewers in its second week, before falling to 0.02 with 52,000 viewers in its third week. The shoe steadily bounced back to a 0.03 and 82,000 viewers in its sixth episode, but fell back down to 0.01 for its final three episodes and ended up concluding to a series-low 26,000 viewers. It was not renewed for a second season.

On Showtime, HOMELAND was down to 1.4m viewers this week (from 1.66m), and THE AFFAIR was down to 547,000 viewers (from 815k). On HBO, THE LEFTOVERS was down to 552,000 viewers (from 713k), PROJECT GREENLIGHT was down 200k viewers to 141,000 viewers, DOLL & EM was down to 89,000 (from 147k), and LAST WEEK TONIGHT was up to 704,000 viewers (from 687k). On CNN, PARTS UNKNOWN was down to 510,000 viewers (from 612k), and RELIABLE SOURCES was at 511,000. Among lower-rated cables, AIR WARRIORS was up to 95,000 viewers (from 82k), ART BREAKERS, on Ovation, was down to 34,000 viewers (from 55k), and EXTREME ESCAPES, on Reelz, was at a mere 4,000 viewers.

On TruTV, IMPRACTICAL JOKERS was seen by 868,000 viewers (up from 607k), and BILLY ON THE STREET began with 384,000. On IFC, BENDERS was up slightly to 77,000 viewers (from 68k), GIGI DOES IT fell down to 20,000 viewers (from 42k), and COMEDY BANG! BANG! returned to 18,000 viewers. On Oxygen, BAD GIRLS CLUB was up to 709,000 viewers (from 642k), and PRETTY STRONG began its run with 227,000 viewers. On E!, BOTCHED was at 918,000 viewers (from 936k on 7/12), and WAGS was way down, to 341,000 viewers (from 739k). On A&E, STORAGE WARS began its season with 2.13m viewers at 9pm, and 2.06m at 9:30pm. On Showtime, HOMELAND began its fifth season with 1.66m viewers (down from the 1.92m for the season 4 finale), and THE AFFAIR began its second season with 815,000 viewers (down from 951k for the season 1 finale). On HBO, PROJECT GREENLIGHT leaped to 342,000 viewers (from 218k), DOLL & EM was on par with last week's 145,000: up slightly to 147,000, and LAST WEEK TONIGHT was up to 687,000 (from 658k). A SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED special episode on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries was at 798,000 viewers (down from 806,000 viewers for the 9/13 episode). On Smithsonian, THE MISSING EVIDENCE was down slightly to 64,000 viewers (from 85k), and AIR WARRIORS fell more than half to 82,000 viewers (from 167k). Finally, ART BREAKERS, on Ovation, began with a mere 55,000 viewers.

On HBO, REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER was up to 1.19m viewers (from 1.05m), and a VICE special was at 294,000. On Lifetime, STEP IT UP fell about half, to 678,000 viewers (from 1.26m), and a BRING IT UP special was at 828,000. Finally, STRIKE BACK, on Cinemax, was down to 196,000 viewers (from 280k), with its series finale airing on October 9.

On FX, MARRIED concluded its second season with 2 new episodes: the 10pm episode was seen by 414,000 viewers, and the 10:30pm episode, 267,000 (vs. 395k last week). On CMT, PARTY DOWN SOUTH fell to 390,000 viewers (from 474k), and GAINESVILLE dropped to 152,000 (from 233k). On ABC Family, NEXT STEP REALTY was down to 93,000 viewers (from 114k last Tuesday), JOB OR NO JOB was up to 125,000 (from 77k and 58k on Wednesday), and STARTUP U was about even with last week with 58,000 viewers. On IFC, the series premiere of BENDERS was seen by 68,000 viewers, and GIGI DOES IT was at 42,000 viewers, both down from the recent finale of DOCUMENTARY NOW which was at 109k/104k. Finally, on RFD, SMALL TOWN BIG DEAL was up slightly to 50,000 viewers (from 37k).
