Z Nation (Syfy): Ratings Recap

Syfy's 'Z Nation' premiered in 2014 with a solid 0.55 adults 18-49 rating and 1.58 million total viewers. It rose in week two to 1.62 million viewers and ultimately ended up averaging a 0.48 rating & 1.42 million viewers for its first season. A second season premiered in 2015 and averaged a 0.33 & 876,000 viewers, and a third season premiered in 2016 and averaged a 0.25 & 871,000 viewers. The fourth season premiered in 2017 to a 0.17 with 575,000 viewers.

12 Monkeys (Syfy): Ratings Recap

Syfy's '12 Monkeys' premiered in 2015 to a 0.43 adults 18-49 and 1.35 million viewers, but dropped by over half by its inaugural season finale (0.20/661,000); and ultimately averaged a 0.24 & 795,000 over the course of its first season. A second season premiered in 2016 to a 0.14 rating & 476,000 viewers and averaged a 0.12 & 402,000 over the course of 13 episodes. The third season premiered in 2017 and aired all 10 episodes over the course of 3 nights - May 19, 2017 - May 21, 2017. Those ratings ranged from 0.16 & 585,000 for the premiere to 0.05 & 246,000 for the finale. A fourth and final season aired in 2018.

Breaking Bad (AMC): Ratings Recap

AMC's 'Breaking Bad' premiered in January 2008 to a 0.6 18-49 rating and 1.41 million viewers. Over the course of its series, it dropped below 1 million viewers only a single time (958,000 in episode 105), and the highest viewership figure occurred for the show's series-finale (10.28 million). During the course of the show's first four seasons, it only reached above a 1.0 rating and over 2 million viewers one time (episode 401). The show's fifth season premiered in 2012 to record numbers, in both 18-49s (1.5) and total viewers (2.93 million); the second-half of the fifth season broke all the records again, premiering to a 2.9 rating and 5.92 million viewers. The show aired a total of 62 episodes over the course of five seasons.

Haven (Syfy): Ratings Recap

Syfy's 'Haven' premiered in July 2010 to a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating and 2.34 million viewers. It concluded its inaugural season to a 0.5 rating & 1.7 million viewers and averaged a 0.5 rating & 1.85 million. The second season premiered in 2011 and averaged a 0.5 rating & 1.8 million viewers, the third season premiered in 2012 and averaged a 0.4 & 1.55 million viewers, and the fourth season premiered in 2013 and averaged a 0.4 rating & 1.47 million viewers. A fifth season aired in two parts in 2014 and 2015, averaging 862,000 viewers in both parts. The series aired a total of 78 episodes over the course of 5 seasons.

Strike Back (Cinemax): Ratings Recap

UPDATED: Cinemax's 'Strike Back' began airing in the United States in August 2011 airing a 10 episode series titled "Project Dawn." The series premiere in the United States brought in 567,000 viewers, and the show's second episode was, for almost four years, the series-low in viewers (169,000), until a season five episode in 2015 (166,000). The fifth season concluded in October 2015 to a 0.14 18-49 rating and 286,000 total viewers. A sixth-season premiered in 2018 to a 0.03 rating with 135,000 viewers, hit a series-low 0.01 rating with 89,000 viewers, and concluded with a 0.03 rating and 95,000 viewers. A seventh season aired in 2019 and an eighth season aired in 2020. The eighth season is the show's last.

Hunted (Cinemax): Ratings Recap

Cinemax's limited series 'Hunted,' premiered Friday October 19, 2012 to a 0.08 A18-49 rating and 245000 viewers. It would later hit a series-high of 0.09 in the demo and average a 0.06 (170K viewers) for all eight episodes. The program closed December 7, 2012 to a 0.07 rating with 143,000 viewers. Regular episodes aired at 10:00pm, but were rebroadcast at 11:30pm. Ratings for the 11:30pm reruns were available for episodes 1 (0.05/150K), 7 (0.03/103K), and 8 (0.03/88K).

It hit a series-low 0.00 rating with 11,000 viewers mid-way through its run, and ended on a consistent note, averaging a 0.01 rating in each of its last three episodes, ultimately concluding to 31,000 viewers. The series was cancelled after a single season of 10 episodes.

Brew Dogs (Esquire): Ratings Recap

Esquire's 'Brew Dogs' premiered September 24, 2013 to a 0.06 adults 18-49 rating with 94,000 viewers, hit a series-high 108,000 viewers in its fifth episode, but finished its first season down to 0.02 with 31,000 viewers. A second season premiered in 2014 to a 0.02 rating with 46,000 viewers, and concluded to a 0.03 rating with 48,000 viewers, and hovered above 50,000 viewers for most of the season. The third and final season premiered in 2015 to a 0.03 rating with 68,000 viewers, and hit a season high in its finale: averaging a 0.04 rating and 88,000 viewers. The show was cancelled after three seasons.

Horseplayers (Esquire): Ratings Recap

Esquire's 'Horseplayers' premiered January 21, 2014 to a paltry 0.02 adults 18-49 rating with 63,000 viewers. The series hit as low as a 0.00 rating on two occasions, and hit a viewership low of 20,000 viewers. Despite bouncing up to a 0.04 rating with 85,000 viewers in its finale, the show was not renewed for a second season. Ten episodes aired over a single season.

You're the Worst (FXX): Ratings Recap

UPDATED: 'You're the Worst' premiered on FX in July 2014 to a 0.40 18-49 demo rating and 765,000 viewers; its highest numbers in either demographic to-date. It was moved to FXX for season 2 and remained there for all future seasons. Season 2 premiered in 2015 to a 0.16 rating and 301,000 viewer, season 3 premiered in 2016 to a 0.17 rating and 347,000 viewers, and season 4 premiered in 2017 to a 0.14 rating and 298,000 viewers. A fifth and final season to aired in 2019.

House of Lies (Showtime): Ratings Recap

'House of Lies' premiered January 8, 2012 on Showtime following the second-season premiere of 'Shameless.' The show hit a ratings-high for the second season premiere in 2013 (0.6 rating/1.19 million viewers), and the second season as a whole was the highest rated of the series. From then on, each season lost, on average, a tenth of a ratings point from the previous season, culminating in a 0.14 (323K viewers) average for the fifth season in 2016. The show was cancelled after five seasons, concluding on June 12, 2016 with a total of 58 episodes.
