MONDAY JUNE 29, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday June 29, 2015:

On ABC Family, THE FOSTERS is working its way back to its normal numbers with 1.19 million (1.08 rating in females 12-34), and BECOMING US was at 358,000, up 50k from last week, and its highest numbers since June 15 (410,000). On Lifetime, DEVIOUS MAIDS was up exactly 200k to 1.36 million viewers, and UNREAL showed its first bit of strength with 810,000 viewers (0.69/0.54 in F12-34 respectively), its highest numbers since the premiere on June 1 (815,000). On MTV, TEEN WOLF began its fifth season with 1.53 million viewers (1.69 rating in F12-34), on par with the fourth season finale (1.54 million), but way down from the fourth season premiere (2.18 million). On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES was up to 4.39 million viewers (from 4.24m), but MURDER IN THE FIRST was slightly down from 2.19 million to 2.15 million viewers (in people 50+ ratings they were at 3.29 and 1.62). Finally, on AMC, MAKING THE MOB: NY was at 982,000 viewers (down over 100k viewers from 1.10 million).

SUNDAY JUNE 28, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Sunday June 28, 2015:

The biggest performer on Sunday was the BET AWARDS with 6.27 million viewers + 3.24m for the preshow and 1.75m for the postshow. On AMC, HALT & CATCH FIRE hit 543,000 viewers (up from 451,000 last week). On HBO, TRUE DETECTIVE was down slightly to 3.05 million (from 3.17), BALLERS was at 1.85 million (down from 2.16), THE BRINK was at 1.26 million (down from 1.60), and LAST WEEK TONIGHT was also down to 1.24 million (from 1.37). On WGNA, SALEM finished its second season with 337,000 viewers (slightly up from 318,000 last week), its most viewed episode since May 31 (394,000). On Showtime, 835,000 people viewed the series finale of NURSE JACKIE, its highest viewed episode of the season, and of the series since May 12, 2013 (840,000). HAPPYISH concluded its first season (& possibly its series) with 261,000 viewers, its highest viewed episode since May 24 (343,000). PENNY DREADFUL was at 604,000 viewers, the season finale is next week. I don't have numbers for the series premiere of BIG CRAZY FAMILY ADVENTURE on Travel Channel last week, but this week it had 268,000 viewers. On Oxygen, the season finale of SNAPPED: KILLER COUPLES was seen by 437,000 viewers, which was up from the season premiere on 4/26 (347,000). Finally, on Smithsonian, MY MILLION DOLLAR INVENTION doubled its viewers to 96,000 viewers, and MUMMIES ALIVE had 85,000 viewers.

SATURDAY JUNE 27, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday June 27, 2015:

Both FIFA matched on Saturday were up from last Saturday's matches. CANADA/ENGLAND was at 1.35 million viewers, and AUSTRALIA/JAPAN was at 1.07. A special episode of 106 & PARK hit 380,000 viewers leading up to the BET Awards. On Starz, POWER hit a series high 1.30 million viewers, up from 1.11 million last week. On OWN, DEIONS FAMILY PLAYBOOK was almost identical with last week's episode, up only 8k viewers (409,000 vs. 401,000). On Food Network, PIONEER WOMAN was up slightly to 1.41 million viewers (from 1.34 million), & TRISHAS SOUTHERN KITCHEN was down to 1.18 million viewers (from 1.37 million). Finally, on BBC America, JONATHAN STRANGE & MR. NORRELL garnered 207,000 viewers on its first night without ORPHAN BLACK (down from 275,000), and ATLANTIS was viewed by 148,000 viewers, down from its most recent episode on 12/20/14 (258,000), and even more from the season premiere on 11/15/14 (390,000).

FRIDAY JUNE 26, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Friday June 26, 2015:

Disney had a phenomenal night with the premiere of TEEN BEACH 2 with 5.82 million viewers (3.13 rating in females 12-34), which was actually way down from the 8.39 million viewers for the original movie in 2013. On the same channel, BEST FRIENDS WHENEVER premiered to 3.54 million viewers (2.0 in F12-34), on par with the 2015 premiere of KC UNDERCOVER (3.51m), but way down from the 2014 premiere of GIRL MEETS WORLD (5.16m). On Animal Planet, TANKED was up over 300k viewers to 1.04 million viewers. On HBO, VICE was down from 812,000 to 733,000, but REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHAR was up from 1.15 million viewers to 1.22 million. All 3 of Syfy's Friday shows were over 1 million viewers, a big improvement as none were even within 30k of 1 million last week. Finally, on Pop, BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK was at 166,000 viewers, down from Thursday's 172,000.

THURSDAY JUNE 25, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Thursday June 25, 2015:

On USA, the season premiere of GRACELAND scored 1.01 million viewers, down from last season's premiere (1.56m) and finale (1.23m). COMPLICATIONS was down in its second episode to 1.07 million (from 1.91m). COMEDIANS on FX concluded its season with two new episodes at 509,000 and 306,000, both down from last week's 532,000 and considerably down from the season premiere (878,000). On MTV, RIDICULOUSNESS finished its sixth season with two new episodes at 872,000 and 960,000 (0.44 and 0.47 in females 12-34), both actually up from last season's finale (844,000), but down from this season's premiere (1.01m). On Syfy, the penultimate episode of OLYMPUS garnered 382,000 viewers, down from last week's 316,000. Among lower rated cables, SMALL TOWN BIG DEAL on RFD fell to a dismal 22,000 viewers (from 49,000), and MARON on IFC was up slightly to 106,000 viewers (from 92,000).

The Prancing Elites Project (Oxygen): Ratings Recap

UPDATED 2016: Oxygen's 'The Prancing Elites Project' premiered April 22, 2015 to a solid 0.27 adults 18-49 rating with 627,000 viewers, but lost half of that audience in week 2, down to 0.14 with 295,000 viewers. Throughout the first season the ratings were anything but stable: the last eight episodes went back and forth losing ~100K one week and gaining it back the next, ultimately averaging 305,000 (and 0.14 in the demo) over 12 episodes. A second season aired in the winter of 2016 and brought in very similar numbers - an average of 0.14 in the demo and 285,000 viewers (down only 20K season-to-season). Despite the stability, the show was not renewed for a third season.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 24, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Wednesday June 24, 2015:

On ABC Family, BABY DADDY was up to 807,000 viewers (from 635,000), and Melissa & Joey was down from 728,000 to 645,000 (the two shows were at 0.62 and 0.54 in females 12-34 respectively). On A&E DUCK DYNASTY began its eighth season with 2.51 million viewers (1.05 rating in people 25-54), even with the seventh season finale, but slightly down from the 2.62 million for the seventh season premiere, and majorly down from the 11.77 million for its most-viewed episode on August 14, 2013. DUCK provided a solid lead-in for COUNTRY BUCK$ which premiered to 1.01 million for its 10pm episode, and 858,000 for its 10:30pm episode. On GSN, SKIN WARS was down from 776,000 viewers last week to 595,000. On Oxygen, PRANCING ELITES PROJECT was at 315,000, well up from last week's 190,000. FAKE OFF on TruTv, also concluded its first season with 389,000 viewers, its highest viewed episode of the season save for last week's 419,000. On USA, SUITS started off its fifth season with 2.13 million viewers (up from 1.55m for its fourth season finale, but down from the 2.50m for its fourth season premiere. MR. ROBOT began with a low 1.75 million viewers, but could pick up next week with all of the raving reviews from critics. Among lower rated cables, CAR MATCHMAKER, on Esquire, began its second season with 56,000 viewers, and on SundanceTV, DEUTSCHLAND 83 scored 74,000 viewers for it second episode (up from 66k for its premiere).

TUESDAY JUNE 23, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Tuesday June 23, 2015:

ABC Family had a "Pretty" decent night Tuesday with PRETTY LITTLE LIARS up 100k viewers to 1.84 million (2.03 rating in females 12-34), and STITCHERS down just slightly to 905,000 (0.83 in that demo). On FYI, ARRANGED finished its first season with two brand new episodes at 364,000 and 312,000 viewers (9pm and 10pm respectively). After being off last week, each of these episodes is up from the 181,000 viewers for its most recent episode on June 9. On FX, TYRANT was unexpectedly up in its second episode to 1.15 million viewers (from 1.06 million). On Oxygen, SISTERHOOD OF HIP HOP was up 136K viewers to 380,000. Among lower rated cables, the 10pm episodes of KNIFE FIGHT on Esquire was down 9,000 viewers to 65,000 viewers, and the 10:30pm episode was up 1,000 to 57,000. For lower rated networks such as Esquire, every Nielsen viewer matters, so these numbers are expected to fluctuate more than the numbers of higher rated networks.

MONDAY JUNE 22, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday June 22, 2015:

Things are not looking good for ABC Family's Tuesday lineup. THE FOSTERS was up slightly to 1 million viewers (1.05 rating in females 12-34) after falling to 970,000 viewers last week (its lowest numbers ever). BECOMING US is just embarrassing for the network with 302,000 viewers, less than a third of its lead-in. DEVIOUS MAIDS led on Lifetime with 1.14 million viewers (0.54 in F12-34), and UNREAL (0.36 in F12-34) followed behind with 552,000 viewers (less than half of its lead-in). MAJOR CRIMES on TNT was a monster for the network, pulling in 4.24 million viewers, (3.21 rating in men 50+) its highest numbers since January 5. It provided a decent lead-in for MURDER IN THE FIRST which raked in 2.19 million viewers (1.65 in M50+). Finally, in sports, the USA/Colombia FIFA match won the night in viewers and demo with 4.72 million viewers (1.79 rating).

Swab Stories (VH1): Ratings Recap

VH1's 'Swab Stories' premiered on Monday April 27, 2015 immediately following a Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Afterparty Special. The premiere brought in a huge 0.67 18-49 rating and 1.27 million viewers. Starting May 6, the show moved to its regular Wednesday timeslot, and took a huge fall down to a 0.13 rating and 263,000 viewers. Not including the series premiere, its highest viewership mark was 423,000 and highest demo rating was a 0.15. It concluded its 8 episode series in June 2015 with a 0.12 rating and 284,000 viewers.

SUNDAY JUNE 21, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Sunday June 21, 2015:

HBO led the day on cable with the huge season premiere of TRUE DETECTIVE (3.17 million), and the series premieres of BALLERS (2.16 million) and THE BRINK (1.60 million), followed by a new episode of LAST WEEK TONIGHT which was lifted slightly by its new neighbors to 1.37 million. Elsewhere, on Showtime, NURSE JACKIE led the pack with 612,000 viewers, PENNY DREADFUL followed closely behind with 523,000, and HAPPYISH fell again, this time down to 197,000. On WGN America, SALEM, which is close to finishing out its second season, garnered 318,000 viewers. Finally, on TNT, THE LAST SHIP started its second season down from its first season premiere (5.33 million) and its first season finale (4.38 million) to 2.94 million viewers.

SATURDAY JUNE 20, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday June 20, 2015:

Saturday's cable ratings were nothing out of the ordinary. On Starz, POWER dropped 50k viewers from last week to 1.114 million viewers. On BBC America, ORPHAN BLACK ended its third season at 428,000 viewers, JONATHAN STRANGE AND MR. NORRELL was down from last Saturday to 275,000 viewers for its second episode. This was still nowhere near its UK premiere on BBC One which was at 5.573 million viewers. DEION'S FAMILY PLAYBOOK on Oprah Winfrey Network garnered 401,000 viewers, down drastically from last week's 640,000 viewers. Finally, TREETOP CAT RESCUE on Animal Planet got 420,000 viewers, which was also down dramatically from 595,000.

FRIDAY JUNE 19, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Friday June 19, 2015:

Friday was a slow night ratings-wise. None of Syfy's originals could even break 1 million viewers; KILLJOYS was the closest with 966,00 viewers, DARK MATTER was a close second with 946,000 viewers, and DEFIANCE fell slightly from that mark to 880,000 viewers. Disney received solid performances from GIRL MEETS WORLD (2.07 million) and DOG WITH A BLOG (1.76 million), which averaged 0.87 and 0.70 in females 12-34 respectively. Discovery is loving ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE (at 3.89 million), and CATCHING MONSTERS (at 1.52 million) which constantly deliver solid ratings for the network. Finally, HBO had a nice Friday night, with VICE and REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHAR just narrowly missing the top 10 originals list (ranked 11 and 12). The former garnered 812,000 viewers, and the latter was at 1.15 million.

THURSDAY JUNE 18, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Thursday June 18, 2015:

Thursday Night saw the premiere of USA's COMPLICATIONS which was at 1.91 million (massive 1.24 rating in men over 50). MTV's RIDICULOUSNESS notched a 0.55 in the key F12-34 demo with 1.05 million viewers. Also on Thursday was also a new episode of FX's THE COMEDIANS which is nearing the end of its first season, and possibly its series; it delivered 532,000 viewers, up from last week's 390,000. SEVENTIES on CNN was seen by 901,000 which was up 14k from last week. BRINGING UP BATES on UP TV was at 262,000 viewers which was down from 314,000 for its second season premiere on June 4. Among lower rated shows, MARON on IFC was at 92,000 and SMALL TOWN BIG DEAL on RFD was at 49,000. Both were down from last week's numbers (108,000 and 51,000 respectively).

WEDNESDAY JUNE 17, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Wednesday June 17, 2015:

Wednesday was a busy night on Cable. On ABC Family, MELISSA & JOEY increased its viewership to 728,000 viewers (0.68 in F12-34), up from 614,000 last week. BABY DADDY on the other hand, fell to 635,000 (0.56 in F12-34) from 743,000 last week. MTV's GIRL CODE had a 0.48 in F12-34 with 446,000 viewers. SWAB STORIES on VH1 concluded its inaugural season with 284,000 viewers, down largely from last week's 423,000. RIPPER STREET concluded its third season on BBC America with 201,000 viewers, exactly even with last week's numbers. SKIN WARS on GSN leaped to 776,000 viewers (up from 540,000). Among lower rated cables; SING IT ON (Pop) was at 111,000 (down slightly from 114,000), and DEUTSCHLAND 83 began its 7 episode run on SundanceTV with 66,000 viewers. Finally, PRANCING ELITES PROJECT on Oxygen was viewed by 190,000 (down from 362,000), and PLAYER GETS PLAYED was at 184,000 viewers (down majorly from 330,000).

TUESDAY JUNE 16, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Tuesday June 16, 2015:

Tuesday was a good night all around for the cable networks. On ABC Family, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS led the night with 1.74 million viewers (2.0 in F12-34), and about half stayed around to watch the new episode of STITCHERS (922,000/0.79). TNT had a big night of premieres: RIZZOLI & ISLES began its 18 episode 6th season with 4.39 million viewers (0.98 rating people 25-54), down from the 5th season premiere (5.81 million), but up from the 5th season finale (3.62 million). On the same network, PROOF began with 2.66 million (0.54 in P25-54), which sounds impressive, except for the fact that the recently-cancelled PERCEPTION started with 3.07 million in the same exact time slot last year. On FX, TYRANT began its second season with 1.06 million viewers, down from the series premiere (2.10 million) and the season 1 finale (1.52 million). Among lower rated cables, KNIFE FIGHT had 2 new episodes on Esquire Network, both up from last week, (10pm & 10:30pm) with 74,000 (vs. 48,000) and 56,000 viewers (vs. 26,000) respectively.

MONDAY JUNE 15, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday June 15, 2015:

VH1's LOVE & HIP HOP ATLANTA led all of Monday cable with a 1.41 rating in adults 18-49 with 2.68 million viewers. It also scored a 1.93 rating in females 12-34. On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES notched a 2.93 rating among males over 50 with 3.81 million viewers, and MURDER IN THE FIRST hit a 1.51 in that demo with 2.09 million viewers. Elsewhere, ABC Family's THE FOSTERS garnered a 0.90 in females 12-34 with 970,000 viewers while BECOMING US had 410,000 viewers. On Lifetime, a new episode of DEVIOUS MAIDS found 1.34 million viewers and a new UNREAL found 565,000; they were at 0.68 and 0.31 respectively in females 12-34.

SUNDAY JUNE 14, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Sunday June 14, 2015:

ABC's coverage of the NBA FINALS led all of broadcast on Sunday, while HBO's GAME OF THRONES took an easy victory on cable. THRONES garnered a 4.14 rating in adults 18-49 with 8.11 million viewers, including a 4.41 rating in people 25-54. Also on the network was SILICON VALLEY with 2.11 million viewers, VEEP with 1.11 million, and LAST WEEK TONIGHT with 1.26 million. On Disney Channel, LIV AND MADDIE, KC UNDERCOVER, and AUSTIN & ALLY were at 1.01, 0.90, and 0.91 respectively in females 12-34, and at 2.08 million, 1.95 million, and 1.75 million in total viewers. On Showtime, both NURSE JACKIE (728,000) and PENNY DREADFUL (572,000) ticked up slightly from last week, while HAPPYISH (224,000) was slightly down. Finally, AMC's HALT AND CATCH FIRE dipped to 452,000 (from 494K), while WGN America's SALEM rose to 314,000 (from 284K).

SATURDAY JUNE 13, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday June 13, 2015:

Outside of Adult Swim, STARZ's POWER took victory on cable Saturday, scoring a 0.52 adults 18-49 rating with 1.12 million viewers, down from 1.43 million viewers last week; it also had a 0.59 rating in people 25-54. On Centric, BEING took a huge hit, dropping to 58,000 viewers this week from 183K last, while WHEN CALLS THE HEART, on Hallmark, rose to 1.78 million viewers from 1.52 million. Finally, on BBC America, the penultimate episode of the season for ORPHAN BLACK fell to 401,000 viewers (from 522K), while the series-premiere of JONATHAN STRANGE & MR. NORRELL found 342,000.

Freak Out (ABC Family): Ratings Recap

ABC Family's 'Freak Out' premiered as two specials in October 2014 to uninspiring numbers: 0.22 in the demo on Oct. 21st and 0.15 on Oct. 22nd. The next 10 episodes aired in the spring of 2015 and were even lower, averaging just 0.11 in the demo and 254,000 viewers (the average shown in the ratings table below is inflated by the two fall specials). The show quietly concluded in May 2015 to a 0.13 rating with 332,000 viewers and wasn't renewed for a second season.

Barely Famous (VH1): Ratings Recap

UPDATED: VH1's 'Barely Famous' premiered in March 2015 to a 0.07 18-49 rating and 122,000 total viewers, and concluded its inaugural season to a 0.06 rating and 138,000. The second season premiered in June 2016 and performed much higher than the first season. The first episode of the second season was higher than every episode of the first season in both the 18-49 demographic (0.09) and total viewers (217,000). It reached a peak of a 0.10 rating and 220,000 viewers. It aired 12 episodes over the course of 2 seasons.

FRIDAY JUNE 12, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Friday June 12, 2015:

Discovery's ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE led Friday cable with 2.04 males over 50 rating and 3.61 million viewers. It was closely followed by Disney's GIRL MEETS WORLD with 1.25 females 12-34 rating and 2.04 million viewers, and DOG WITH A BLOG with a 0.78 rating in that demo and 1.7 million viewers. The hour-long series-finale of PHINEAS AND FERB found 1.67 million viewers on Disney Channel (0.72 females 12-34) and 1.28 million on Disney XD (0.54). On Syfy, the season premiere of DEFIANCE had 1.11 million viewers, and the series-premiere of DARK MATTER had 1.28 million.

Walk of Shame Shuttle (VH1): Ratings Recap

VH1's 'Walk of Shame Shuttle' premiered in March 2015 to its series-high 0.17 18-49 rating and 266,000 total viewers. It lost 0.11 in week 2, down to 0.06 and 120,000 viewers, but slowly reached its way up to a 0.10 rating and 226,000 viewers by episode 111. The show concluded in June 2015 to a series-low tying 0.05 18-49 rating, and 155,000 total viewers. The show aired 13 episodes over the course of its single season.

THURSDAY JUNE 11, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Thursday June 11, 2015:

ABC's coverage of the NBA FINALS GAME 4 took victory on Thursday with a massive 7.6/26 18-49 rating/share and 19.84 million viewers. On cable, Syfy's WWE SMACKDOWN led the evening with 2.61 million viewers, a 1.11 rating in males over 50, and a 0.89 rating in people 25-54. WEtv's BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES notched a 0.59 rating in females 12-34 with 1.05 million viewers, and MTV's RIDICULOUSNESS had a 0.46 rating in that demo with 909,000 viewers. Elsewhere, FX's THE COMEDIANS found 390,000 viewers (up from 302K), and Syfy's OLYMPUS had 398,000 viewers (down from 467K).

WEDNESDAY JUNE 10, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Wednesday June 10, 2015:

The NHL STANLEY CUP FINAL GAME 4 led all of cable on Wednesday, notching a 1.33 adults 18-49 rating with 3.91 million viewers, including a 1.47 rating in persons 25-54 and a 1.79 rating in males over 50. BET's THE GAME took second on the day with a 0.82 rating in females 12-34 and 1.47 million viewers, while the CMT MUSIC AWARDS took third with a 0.94 males over 50 rating. On ABC Family, BABY DADDY notched a 0.59 rating in females 12-34 with 743,000 viewers, and MELISSA & JOEY had a 0.49 rating in that demo with 614,000 viewers. Finally, on BBC America, RIPPER STREET pulled in 201,000 total viewers.

TUESDAY JUNE 9, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Tuesday June 9, 2015:

ABC Family's PRETTY LITTLE LIARS topped all of cable Tuesday, notching a 0.99 adults 18-49 rating, a 2.61 females 12-34 rating, and 2.13 million viewers. STITCHERS had a 0.93 females 12-34 rating with 983,000 total viewers. On MTV, FINDING CARTER had a 0.60 rating in F 12-34 with 529,000 viewers, while USA's ROYAL PAINS had a 0.91 in males 50+ and 1.46 million viewers. YOUNGER had 581,000 viewers on Nick-at-Night and 645,000 on TV Land, while two episodes of Esquire's KNIFE FIGHT managed only 48,000 at 10pm and 26,000 at 10:30.

MONDAY JUNE 8, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday June 8, 2015:

VH1's LOVE & HIP HOP ATLANTA topped all of cable on Monday, notching a 1.41 rating among adults 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers. The show also performed well in females 12-34 (1.73 rating) and adults 18-34 (1.49 rating). The NHL FINALS took second on the day with a 1.36 rating and 3.9 million viewers, bringing in big numbers in males over 50 (1.75). On the scripted side, THE FOSTERS had a 1.14 females 12-34 rating with 1.26 million viewers, and BECOMING US fell by half to only 638,000 viewers. On Lifetime, DEVIOUS MAIDS notched a 0.86 females 12-34 rating with 1.42 million viewers while UNREAL managed a 0.56 rating in that demo with 707,000 viewers, down over 100K from last week's premiere (815K). On TNT, MAJOR CRIMES had a 3.08 rating in males over 50 with 3.99 million viewers and MURDER IN THE FIRST had a 1.8 rating with 2.38 million viewers. Finally, AMC's TURN rose to 933,000 viewers for its second season finale, its highest figures since its first season finale (1.61 million).

SUNDAY JUNE 7, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Sunday June 7, 2015:

The NBA FINALS GAME 2 led the entire day on television, hitting a 7.4/24 adults 18-49 rating/share with 19.17 million viewers on ABC. On cable, HBO's GAME OF THRONES ticked up two tenths (to 3.65) and over 100K viewers, to 7.14 million, SILICON VALLEY rose slightly to 1.87 million (from 1.78 million), but VEEP dropped to 907,000 (from 993K). On Showtime, NURSE JACKIE surged to 723,000 viewers (from 593K), while PENNY DREADFUL fell to 566,000 (from 712K), and HAPPYISH dipped to 229,000 (from 250K). Other scripted fare on the night include AMC's HALT AND CATCH FIRE and WGN America's SALEM, which both fell from last week, the former to 494,000 (from 659K), and the latter to 284,000 (from 394K).

SATURDAY JUNE 6, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Saturday June 6, 2015:

The second season premiere of STARZ's original series POWER brought in series-high numbers, including a 0.61 adults 18-49 rating and 1.43 million viewers. This was huge step up from the series premiere last year (462,000), and from the first season finale (1.08 million). On BBC America, ORPHAN BLACK rose to 522,000 viewers (from 372K), but on Hallmark Channel, WHEN CALLS THE HEART ticked down to 1.52 million viewers (from 1.63 million). Finally, a new TV movie of SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, brought in 830,000 viewers, up from the most recent movie on Nov. 23, 2014 (755,000).

FRIDAY JUNE 5, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Friday June 5, 2015:

ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE, on Discovery, led a very slow day on Friday cable. The show notched a 0.97 18-49 rating with 3.4 million viewers; it also did a 1.21 rating in people 25-54, and 1.86 in people over 50. On Disney Channel, GIRL MEETS WORLD edged out JESSIE in both the female 12-34 demo (0.97 vs. 0.95) and in total viewers (2.19 million vs. 2.14 million), though JESSIE led by 0.01 in the 18-49s. Elsewhere, Syfy's BITTEN was at 537,000 and 491,000 viewers for its two episodes.

Unusually Thicke (TVGN/Pop): Ratings Recap

'Unusually Thicke' premiered in 2014 on TV Guide Network (TVGN) and aired the first eight episodes of its season. It returned in 2015 to air the final six episodes of its inaugural season; concluding with a 0.04 18-49 rating and 110,000 total viewers. A second season aired in fall 2016 and averaged a 0.02 rating & 94,000 viewers over its first 6 episodes which all aired in primetime. That performance was apparently not good enough for Pop which then moved the last 8 episodes to the 11:00am & 11:30am time blocks. The ratings were severely impacted by the move, averaging just 10,000 viewers. 

Queens of Drama (POP): Ratings Recap

Pop's 'Queens of Drama' premiered on Sunday April 26, 2015 to a 0.03 18-49 rating and 169,000 total viewers. It didn't do much better than that; its highest rating was a 0.05, and its highest viewership figure was 177,000 for the series-finale. The show aired a total of 10 episodes (premiere and finale were double episodes) over the course of a single season.

THURSDAY JUNE 4, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Thursday June 4, 2015:

Syfy's WWE SMACKDOWN led a relatively slow Thursday on cable, notching a 0.59 adults 18-49 rating wth 2.35 million viewers; it performed best in males over 50 (1.13 rating) and adults 25-54 (0.73). On WEtv, BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES had a 0.54 rating in females 12-34 with 1.06 million viewers, while CUTTING IT IN THE ATL had a 0.37 in that demographic with 571,000 viewers. On scripted cable, LOST GIRL had 710,000 viewers, OLYMPUS had 467,000, and THE COMEDIANS did 302,000. On the lower-rated side, a new episode of SMALL TOWN BIG DEAL (RFD) scraped together 32,000 viewers.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 3, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Wednesday June 3, 2015:

BET's THE GAME led all of cable Wednesday with a 0.67 18-49 rating and 1.35 million viewers; it also pulled big numbers in the female 12-34 demo: 0.83. On ABC Family, the second half of BABY DADDY's fourth season pulled in 776,000 viewers (up from 716K on 3/18) with a 0.54 rating in females 12-34. The net's other entry, MELISSA & JOEY notched a 0.41 in that demographic with 598,000 viewers. TV Land's HOT IN CLEVELAND jumped to 1.02 million viewers this week (from 764K), while INSTANT MOM stayed remarkably stable at 328,000 (from 326K). A preview of the JIM GAFFIGAN SHOW had 430,000. Among lower-rated cables, BBC America's RIPPER STREET rose to 238,000 (from 147K), while both QUEENS OF DRAMA and UNUSUALLY THICKE (both POP) saw increases from last week: QUEENS to 157,000 (from 151K), and THICKE to 110,000 (from 73K).

TUESDAY JUNE 2, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Tuesday June 2, 2015:

Discovery's DEADLIEST CATCH topped Tuesday cable with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating and 3.06 million viewers, it also had a 1.54 rating in adults 25-54 and a 1.78 rating in males over 50. ABC Family's PRETTY LITTLE LIARS took second on the night with 2.38 million viewers and a 2.65 rating in females 12-34. Also on that network was STITCHERS, which had 1.28 million viewers and a 1.00 rating in females 12-34. Other scripted fare include USA's ROYAL PAINS, which found 1.67 million viewers and YOUNGER which found 657,000 on TV Land and 611,000 on Nick-at-Night. Two episodes of Esquire's KNIFE FIGHT were at 120,000 and 97,000.

MONDAY JUNE 1, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Monday June 1, 2015:

USA's WWE ENTERTAINMENT topped Monday cable, averaging between a 1.25 and 1.38 18-49 rating and between 3.86 and 4.11 million viewers. On the scripted side, the season premiere of Lifetime's DEVIOUS MAIDS brought in 1.47 million viewers and a 0.56 rating in females 12-34, a new series-low for the show and down heavily from the second season finale (2.23 million). Also on the network was the series-premiere of UNREAL which bowed to a mediocre 815,000 viewers and a 0.35 rating in females 12-34. Finally, the penultimate episode of the season of AMC's TURN had 883,000 viewers, up from last week's 723K.

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Sunday May 31, 2015:

HBO's GAME OF THRONES dominated Sunday night on both broadcast and cable, hitting a 3.45 adults 18-49 rating with just over 7 million viewers. It also did big numbers in adults 18-34 (2.94 rating) an adults 25-54 (3.8). Also airing on HBO was SILICON VALLEY (1.78 million), VEEP (993,000), and LAST WEEK TONIGHT (1.39 million). On Showtime, PENNY DREADFUL led the night (712,000), followed by NURSE JACKIE (593,000), and HAPPYISH (250,000). Other scripted series airing include AMC's HALT AND CATCH FIRE (659,000), WGN America's SALEM (394,000), and Disney's KC UNDERCOVER (3.02 million) & I DIDN'T DO IT (2.2 million). Smithsonian's BOOMTOWNERS found 87,000 for its finale.

Lifetime's SECRET LIFE OF MARILYN led Saturday cable with a 0.50 adults 18-49 rating (1.42 in males over 50), and 2.31 million viewers, and BEYOND THE HEADLINES took second with 1.88 million viewers. Among children's scripted series, KC UNDERCOVER (Disney) led with 1.82 million viewers (0.98 in females 12-34), followed by BELLA AND THE BULLDOGS (Nickelodeon) with 1.39 million viewers (0.56), and NICKY, RICKY, DICKY, AND DAWN with 1.51 million (0.49). Elsewhere, BBC America's ORPHAN BLACK had 372,000 viewers, Hallmark's WHEN CALLS THE HEART had 1.63 million, and STARZ's OUTLANDER had 981,000.

FRIDAY MAY 29, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Friday May 29, 2015:

The NHL CONFERENCE FINALS, on NBC Sports Network, topped all of Friday cable with a 1.21 adults 18-49 rating and 3.29 million viewers, including a 1.38 rating in people 25-54s. Discovery's ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE took second on the night with a 1.08 rating and 3.61 million viewers. On the scripted side, KC UNDERCOVER (Disney) notched a 1.1 rating in females 12-34 with 2.4 million viewers, and BITTEN (Syfy) had 383,000 viewers.

THURSDAY MAY 28, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Spike's LIP SYNC BATTLE took victory on Thursday cable, hitting an even 1.00 18-49 rating with 1.91 million viewers, and a 0.83 rating in females 12-34 and a 1.08 in people 25-54. In terms of total viewers, USA's WWE SMACKDOWN won the night with 2.57 million viewers. On the scripted side, the season finale of FX's LOUIE brought in 507,000 viewers, and a new episode of THE COMEDIANS brought in 624,000 viewers - its highest numbers since April 30, 2015. On Syfy, LOST GIRL scored 583,000 viewers and OLYMPUS had 368,000. Among lower-rated cables, MARON (IFC) notched 120,000, while COMEDY BANG! BANG! had 57,000.

WEDNESDAY MAY 27, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

ESPN's coverage of the NBA PLAYOFFS took victory on Tuesday cable, hitting a 3.56 adults 18-49 rating with 8.89 million viewers. The game had a 3.59 adults 18-34 rating, a 3.72 adults 25-54 rating, and a huge 4.83 males 50+ rating. The NHL PLAYOFFS, on NBC Sports Net, took second on the night with 2.38 million viewers. On the scripted side, ABC Family's YOUNG & HUNGRY led the evening with 926,000 viewers and a 0.85 rating in females 12-34; the nets other entry, FREAK OUT, managed only 332,000. On TV Land, HOT IN CLEVELAND had 764,000 viewers, INSTANT MOM had 326,000, and two episodes of THE SOUL MAN were at 399,000 & 335,000. Among lower-rated fare, RIPPER STREET (BBC America) averaged 147,000, while UNUSUALLY THICKE (POP) managed 73,000.

TUESDAY MAY 26, 2015 CABLE TV RATINGS

Select Ratings from Original Cable telecasts on Tuesday May 26, 2015:

NBA PLAYOFFS, on TNT, topped Tuesday on cable, hitting a tremendous 2.5 18-49 rating with 6.27 million viewers. The game also brought in big numbers in people 18-34 (2.47 rating) and people 25-54 (2.65). OWN's IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG was the top scripted fare on the night with over 2 million viewers, while MTV's FINDING CARTER managed 543,000 viewers with a 0.63 rating in females 12-34. YOUNGER aired on both Nick-at-Night and TV Land, scoring 687,000 viewers on the former and 589,000 viewers on the latter network. Two premiere episodes of Esquire's KNIFE FIGHT did 140,000 and 81,000 viewers.
