Nielsen Universe Estimates

Below are the Nielsen Universe estimates for the last several TV seasons. Universe estimates are used by Nielsen to calculate a program's rating within that demographic. The number of demographics with available universe data varies by year, but there are numerous demos that are available across most or all of the seasons. The adults 18-49 demo is the standard metric used by all of the broadcast networks and most of the cable networks, so it has been bolded and colored red everywhere it appears.
