Thursday April 28, 2016 Nielsen Finals

'NFL Draft' coverage took the top 2 spots on the Thursday cable ratings with ESPN on top in the demo (2.65 rating) and total viewers (6.29 million) and NFL Network ranking second (0.92/2.04 million). Among men 18-49 the two networks were at 3.84/1.38 and in males 12-34 it was 3.28/1.05. USA Network's 'WWE Smackdown' also had decent returns in that demo at 0.68/0.63 with 2.11 million viewers as did FX's 'Archer' (0.47/0.38, 676,000). On Lifetime, 'Project Runway All Stars' was at 0.54 in W18-49 with 1.46 million viewers, and on MTV, 'Real World Go Big or Go Home' notched 0.38 in that demo (plus 0.48 in F12-34) with 468,000. In scripted content there was Comedy Central's 'Inside Amy Schumer' (0.41/785,000) and BBC America's 'Orphan Black' (0.10, 242,000); the 'Orphan Black' aftershow, 'After the Black' was at 0.04 in the demo with 92,000 viewers. Other programs of note include TruTV's 'Impractical Jokers' (683,000), Spike's 'Lip Sync Battle' (811,000), WEtv's 'Mary Mary' (591,000), and CNN's 'The Eighties' (721,000).

Wednesday April 27, 2016 Nielsen Finals

TNT's 'NBA Basketball' game between the Rockets and Warriors led the Wednesday cable ratings in adults 18-49 (1.59 rating), men 18-49 (2.17), males 12-34 (1.88), and total viewers (3.66 million). The other game, Hornets/Heat, was at 1.29/1.79/1.55 in those respective demos with 3.13 million viewers. Over on Lifetime, 'Little Women LA Reunion' notched a 0.78 W18-49 rating with 1.33 million viewers, and two episodes of 'Terra's Little Fam' were at 0.58/0.52 ratings in that demo with 1.19 million/1.16 million viewers. MTV had a new episode of 'Catfish' which took the top spot on the day in females 12-34 (0.96) and was a tick above a million viewers (1.01 million). On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of NYC' logged a 0.72 W18-49 rating with 1.32 million viewers, and on VH1, 'Family Therapy' had a 0.55 with 668,000 viewers. In scripted content there was WGN America's 'Underground' (0.33, 992,000), FX's 'The Americans' (0.22, 895,000), TV Land's 'Lopez' (427,000) & 'The Soul Man' (308,000), and Pop's 'Schitt's Creek' (241,000).

Tuesday April 26, 2016 Nielsen Finals

'NBA Basketball' coverage between the Celtics and Hawks, on TNT, took victory on Tuesday cable with a 1.32 adults 18-49 rating (1.86 in men of that demo) with 3 million viewers. Discovery's 'Deadliest Catch' also pulled decent numbers in that demo (0.99) and averaged 2.28 million viewers, as did 'The Last Alaskans' (0.44/1.4 million). On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' scored the day's best figures among women 18-49 (1.03) with 1.88 million viewers; OWN's 'If Loving You is Wrong' also had solid returns in that demo (0.88) with 2.06 million viewers, as did 'Dance Moms,' on Lifetime (0.71, 1.27 million). Over at MTV, both 'Awkward' and 'Faking It' logged positive numbers in women 18-34 (0.58/0.34 ratings) and were at 553,000 & 345,000 viewers. Other programs of note include Oxygen's 'Bad Girls Club' (599,000), TBS's 'Separation Anxiety' (516,000), AMC's 'The Night Manager' (812,000), and Sundance's 'Rebellion' (68,000).

Monday April 25, 2016 Nielsen Finals

VH1's 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' led the Monday cable ratings among adults 18-49 (1.48 rating), women 18-49 (2.19), and females 12-34 (2.01), averaging 2.67 million viewers; lead-out 'Black Ink Crew' was at 1.29/1.95/1.7 in those respective demos with 2.25 million viewers. On USA Network, three hours of 'WWE Entertainment' averaged 1.43/1.44/1.3 ratings among men 18-49 and 3.26 million/3.18 million/2.94 million among total viewers. Over at MTV, 'Teen Mom' delivered a 1.36 F12-34 rating with 1.57 million viewers and a 'Teen Mom Special' notched a 0.73 with 862,000 viewers. Bravo's 'Southern Charm' saw its usual strength among W18-49 (0.6) as did 'Real Housewives of Dallas' (0.48); in total viewers, those two programs were at 1.08 million and 828,000 respectively. Other programs of note include TBS's 'The Detour' (863,000), A&E's 'Bates Motel' (1.35 million) & 'Damien' (421,000), and Syfy's '12 Monkeys' (318,000), 'Bitten' (302,000) & 'Hunters' (398,000).

Sunday April 24, 2016 Nielsen Finals

HBO's sixth-season premiere of 'Game of Thrones' dominated the Sunday cable ratings with a huge 3.98 adults 18-49 rating and 7.94 million viewers. Despite the stellar numbers, it was still down slightly from both last season's premiere (4.19/7.997 million) and finale (4.14/8.112 million). Also on HBO were the season premieres of 'Silicon Valley' (1.86 million) and 'Veep' (1.1 million), both of which were down from last year's premieres (2.11 million and 1.11 million). On AMC, 'Fear the Walking Dead' (4.73 million) continued its strength in men 18-49 (4.72 rating) and on Bravo, 'Shahs of Sunset' (1.31 million) was solid among women 18-49 (0.77). Over at Disney Channel, 'Liv and Maddie' showed its usual strength in females 12-34, notching a 0.86 rating (1.73 million total viewers) while 'KC Undercover' was at 0.83 in that demo with 1.82 million viewers. Other scripted series on the night include Hallmark's 'The Good Witch' (1.96 million), Showtime's 'House of Lies' (308,000) & 'Dice' (165,000), and Sundance's 'Rebellion' (96,000).

Saturday April 23, 2016 Nielsen Finals

For the sixth night in a row 'NBA Basketball' led the cable ratings; the Clippers/Blazers game delivered a 1.17 adults 18-49 rating and 2.8 million viewers, including 1.72 in men 18-49 and 1.46 in males 12-34. On Nickelodeon, 'Henry Danger' led the way with a 0.55 rating in F12-34 and 1.67 million viewers; 'School of Rock' was next at 0.50 and 1.25 million, and 'Bella and the Bulldogs' had 0.45 with 1.11 million. Elsewhere in scripted content, Starz had 'Outlander' (1.21 million), HBO had 'Sesame Street' (117,000), and Ovation had 'The Artful Detective' (188,000). Other programs of note include HBO's much-hyped 'Lemonade' (787,000), Reelz's 'Autopsy' (294,000), and OWN had 'For Peete's Sake' (463,000).

Friday April 22, 2016 Nielsen Finals

ESPN's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Spurs and Grizzlies took victory on Friday cable in the key 18-49 demo (1.11 rating) and total viewers (2.69 million) as well as in both men 18-49 (1.57) and males 12-34 (1.44). On OWN, 'For Better or Worse' notched a 0.33 W18-49 rating with 738,000 viewers and on Lifetime, 'Atlanta Plastic' logged a 0.29 rating in that demo with 477,000 viewers. On premium cable, HBO had 'Real Time with Bill Maher' (1.21 million) and 'Vice' (523,000) and Cinemax had 'Banshee' (355,000). Other programs of note include Animal Planet's 'Tanked' (535,000), USA Network's 'Motive' (763,000), and Nickelodeon's 'The Halo Effect' (759,000).

It was another night on cable with TNT's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' taking the lead; the Warriors/Rockets game delivered a 2.82 men 18-49 rating (2.51 in men 18-34) with 4.58 million viewers. The other game, Thunder/Mavericks notched 1.48/1.31 ratings in those two demos and 2.52 million viewers. On USA Network, 'WWE Smackdown' logged a 0.84 in M18-49 with 2.43 million viewers and on FX, 'Archer' had a 0.55 in that demo (0.45 rating in M12-34) with 794,000 viewers. In key female demos, Lifetime's 'Project Runway All-Stars' notched a 0.53 W18-49 rating with 1.48 million viewers and Bravo's 'Million Dollar Listing NY' was at 0.49 with 993,000 viewers. Elsewhere was Spike's 'Lip Sync Battle' (1.07 million), TruTV's 'Impractical Jokers' (851,000), BBC America's 'Orphan Black' (271,000), and Showtime's 'Gigolos' (100,000).

Wednesday April 20, 2016 Nielsen Finals

TNT's 'NBA Basketball' game again led the cable ratings, this time it was a Wednesday match-up between the Pistons and Cavaliers taking the top spot at 1.43 in 18-49 (2.01 rating in men 18-49) and 3.42 million viewers. On Lifetime, 'Little Women LA' was at 0.84 in W18-49 with 1.43 million viewers and two episodes of 'Terra's Little Fam' were at 0.68/0.58 in that demo and 1.25 million/1.14 million in total viewers. Other top-rated performers in that demo include Bravo's 'Real Housewives of NYC' at 0.78 (1.43 million viewers) and VH1's 'Family Therapy' at 0.45 (676,000). Over at MTV, 'Catfish' delivered a 0.61 F12-34 rating with 897,000 viewers and a 'Catfish Special' had 0.62 in that demo with 721,000 viewers. Other notable programs on the day include FX's 'The Americans' (902,000), TV Land's 'Lopez' (460,000) & 'The Soul Man' (358,000), and Pop's 'Schitt's Creek' (240,000).

TNT's coverage of 'NBA Basketball,' between the Grizzlies and Spurs, topped the Tuesday cable ratings with a 1.38 rating among adults 18-49 (1.96 in men of that demo) and 3.04 million viewers. On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' scored a 1.11 rating in women 18-49 with 2.03 million viewers, on OWN, 'If Loving You is Wrong' had a 0.83 in that demo with 2.2 million viewers, and on Lifetime, 'Dance Moms' was at 0.73 in F12-34 with 1.4 million viewers. Over at MTV, 'Awkward' logged a 0.63 F12-34 rating with 590,000 viewers and 'Faking It' notched a 0.43 in that demo with 385,000 viewers. Elsewhere was Oxygen's 'Bad Girls Club' (636,000), WGN America's 'Outsiders' (956,000), AMC's 'The Night Manager' (933,000), and Freeform's 'Stitchers' (376,000). 

Monday April 18, 2016 Nielsen Finals

TNT's coverage of the Rockets/Warriors 'NBA Basketball' game took victory on Monday cable with a strong 2.04 adults 18-49 rating and 4.42 million viewers. The game also scored big among key male demos including men 18-49 (2.91 rating) and males 12-34 (2.73). Over at VH1, 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' notched a solid 2.2 rating among women 18-49 with 2.83 million viewers and 'Black Ink Crew' was at 1.91 in that demo with 2.42 million viewers. On USA Network, three hours of 'WWE Entertainment' logged 1.56/1.58/1.39 ratings among men 18-49 and 3.49 million/3.54 million/2.98 million in total viewers. MTV found success with 'Teen Mom' (1.48 in F12-34, 1.65 million viewers) and a 'Teen Mom Special' (1.04 in that demo, 1.09 million) while AMC had positive results for the season finale of 'Better Call Saul' (1.1 in M18-49, 2.26 million). Other programs of note include TBS's 'The Detour' (841,000), Syfy's '12 Monkeys' (476,000) & 'Bitten' (354,000), and Reelz's 'Princess Diana's Legacy' (184,000).

Sunday April 17, 2016 Nielsen Finals

AMC's 'Fear the Walking Dead' again led the Sunday cable ratings (and broadcast too), scoring a dominating 2.53 rating among adults 18-49 and 5.58 million viewers. The show also led among men 18-49 (2.66), adults 18-34 (1.77) and 25-54 (2.95). Coverage of the Grizzlies/Spurs NBA playoff game, on TNT (3.99 million viewers), took the top spot on the day among males 12-34 (1.96 rating) and was second in M18-49 (2.29). Bravo's night was led by 'Shahs of Sunset' (0.99 rating in W18-49, 1.57 million viewers), but 'Real Housewives of Potomac' (0.89, 1.39 million) was close behind; the nets other entry, 'Thicker Than Water,' was slightly lower, registering a 0.56 in that demo with 839,000 viewers. Among females 12-34, Disney Channel's 'KC Undercover' (0.85 rating, 1.9 million total viewers) and 'Best Friends Whenever' (0.73, 1.55 million) both delivered strong ratings and were ranked third and fourth behind 'Fear' and basketball. On premium cable, HBO had two season finale episodes of 'Girls' (582,000/512,000), 'Vinyl' (730,000) & 'Last Week Tonight' (849,000); Showtime had 'House of Lies' (418,000) & 'Dice' (180,000); and Starz had 'The Girlfriend Experience' (268,000). 

Saturday April 16, 2016 Nielsen Finals

ESPN coverage of 'NBA Basketball' took the the top 3 spots on an otherwise slow cable Saturday. Mavericks/Thunder had the top airing among adults 18-49 (1.3 rating) and men 18-49 (1.87) with 3.02 million viewers. Celtics/Hawks was at 1.18/1.74 in those respective demos with 2.93 million viewers and Pacers/Raptors was 0.79/1.25 with 1.94 million viewers. On Nickelodeon, 'Henry Danger' remained solid among females 12-34 (0.47) and total viewers (1.75 million) as did 'School of Rock' (0.42, 1.42 million) and 'Bella and the Bulldogs' (0.40, 1.19 million). A Hallmark original movie 'Love by Chance' logged a 0.39 rating among women 18-49 but saw its best returns in people over 50 (1.67) and total viewers (2.17 million). Other programs of note include Starz's 'Outlander' (1.24 million), HBO's 'Confirmation' (936,000), and the finale of Esquire's 'Beowulf' (157,000).

Friday April 15, 2016 Nielsen Finals

'Children's Hospital,' on Adult Swim, led a snoozy Friday on cable with just a 0.45 demo rating and 1.05 million viewers; it also delivered the best numbers among males 12-34 (0.69 rating) and men 18-49 (0.49). Two episodes of 'Kendra on Top,' on WEtv, were at 0.29/0.25 in W18-49 with 436,000/370,000 viewers and Lifetime's 'Atlanta Plastic' logged 0.33 in that demo with 578,000 viewers. The top rating among females 12-34 came from Disney Channel's 'Backstage' (0.55 rating) which also was strong among total viewers (1.07 million); on that same net, 'Mako Mermaids' notched a 0.43 in F12-34 with 887,000 viewers. Over at HBO, 'Real Time with Bill Maher' (1.15 million) had solid numbers and 'Vice' (629,000) was so-so. Scripted programs of note include Syfy's 'Wynonna Earp' (643,000), USA's 'Motive' (604,000), Cinemax's 'Banshee' (290,000), and the season finale of Chiller's 'Slasher' (86,000).

Thursday April 14, 2016 Nielsen Finals

CNN's 'New York Democratic Debate' delivered the best numbers on cable Thursday across the board, including in adults 18-49 (1.16 rating), 18-34 (1.02), 25-54 (1.46) and total viewers (5.47 million). On ESPN, original documentary '30 for 30: This Magic Moment' brought in the day's second-best numbers among both men 18-49 (1.19) and males 12-34 (1.04) behind the debate, and logged 1.51 million total viewers. At A&E, '60 Days In' (1.77 million viewers) scored the best numbers in women 18-49 (1.01) and females 12-34 (0.77), out-rating the debate (0.93/0.62) in both. USA's 'WWE Smackdown' had solid returns in men 18-49 (0.82) and total viewers (2.36 million) as did History's 'Vikings' (0.68, 2.28 million) and FX's 'Archer' (0.60, 787,000). Over at BBC America, the season premiere of 'Orphan Black' hit a series-low in both the demo (0.08 rating) and total viewers (229,000), down significantly from last year's premiere (0.19/535,000) and finale (0.15/428,000). Other programs of note include Spike's 'Lip Sync Battle' (1.21 million), TruTV's 'Impractical Jokers' (829,000), Lifetime's 'Project Runway Allstars' (1.38 million), and Showtime's 'Gigolos' (153,000).

Wednesday April 13, 2016 Nielsen Finals

There was quite an interesting ratings result to come out of Wednesday as NBA Basketball coverage on the (usually) little-watched ESPN2 not only beat out both games airing on ESPN, but also everything else on cable and all but 4 shows on the broadcast nets. The game, Jazz v. Lakers, delivered a 1.74 adults 18-49 rating with 3.47 million viewers and scored the day's best returns in men 18-49 (2.43 rating) and males 12-34 (2.65). The two games on ESPN ranked second and third in both of those subdemos as well as in adults 18-49 and total viewers. Over at MTV, 'Catfish' continued its dominance in the female 12-34 demo (0.95 rating) and women 18-49 demo (0.79) beating out Bravo's 'Real Housewives of NYC' (0.34/0.68) and Lifetime's 'Little Women LA' (0.42/0.56) in both metrics. Among total viewers, 'Housewives' (1.24 million) led the way followed by 'Little Women' (1.13 million) and 'Catfish' (980,000). Comedy Central's 'Broad City' (0.30/530,000) was the top scripted entry on cable among 18-49, followed by WGN America's 'Underground' (0.29/881,000) and FX's 'The Americans' (0.25/885,000). Other programs of note include TV Land's 'The Soul Man' (301,000), Pop's 'Schitt's Creek' (183,000), and Sundance's 'The Last Panthers' (78,000).

Tuesday April 12, 2016 Nielsen Finals

Discovery Channel's 'Deadliest Catch' led a busy night on cable in not only the key 18-49 demo (0.81), but also in men 18-49 (0.88), people 25-54 (1.05) and total viewers (2.42 million). On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' saw the day's best numbers in women 18-49 (1.13 rating) and tied for second with USA's 'Chrisley Knows Best' in females 12-34 (0.7). Notably, 'Chrisley' had the day's second best numbers in W18-49 (0.87), followed closely by OWN's 'If Loving You is Wrong' (0.86) and Lifetime's 'Dance Moms' (0.84) which itself was the top performer in F12-34 (0.92). Two NBA Basketball games on TNT delivered strong numbers in men 18-49 (0.82 for OKC/SA and 0.85 for MEM/LA) and the two best ratings among males 12-34 (0.74/0.81); among total viewers the two games were at 1.71 million and 1.37 million respectively. Elsewhere, MTV had new episodes of 'Awkward' (0.42 in W18-49, 543,000 viewers) and 'Faking It' (0.23 in that demo, 354,000) while Oxygen had 'Bad Girls Club' (0.42, 519,000). Other programs of note include: Spike's 'Ink Master' (1.21 million), Comedy Central's 'Tosh.0' (913,000), WGN America's 'Outsiders' (954,000), and the final broadcast of Aljazeera network - 'Fault Lines' (13,000). 

Monday April 11, 2016 Nielsen Finals

VH1's 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' strolled to an easy victory on Monday cable in the 18-49s (1.44 rating) and both women 18-49 (2.12) & females 12-34 (2.0), delivering 2.75 million total viewers. On the same net, 'Black Ink Crew' was at 1.72/1.63 in those respective women demos with 2.2 million viewers. On USA Network, three hours of 'WWE Entertainment' took the top spots on cable in men 18-49 (1.56/1.69/1.61), males 12-34 (1.35/1.5/1.46), and total viewers (between 3.43 and 3.69 million). Over at MTV, both 'Teen Mom II' and a 'Teen Mom Special' were strong in F12-34 (1.41/0.95 ratings respectively) and in total viewers (1.6 million/1.05 million). On the scripted side, the penultimate episode of the season for AMC's 'Better Call Saul' was modest at 2.06 million, A&E's 'Bates Motel' had 1.42 million (0.67 rating in W18-49), and two premiere episodes of TBS's 'The Detour' were strong at 1.17 million and 1.04 million. Other programs of note include: Syfy's 'The Magicians' (676,000) & 'Hunters' (537,000), A&E's 'Damien' (466,000), and Logo's 'RuPaul's Drag Race' (326,000).

Sunday April 10, 2016 Nielsen Finals

AMC's 'Fear the Walking Dead' led a very busy Sunday on cable (and broadcast too) with a stellar 3.08 rating among adults 18-49 and 6.67 million viewers. The program also led every major subdemo, but found its best numbers in men 18-49 (3.34 rating) and males 12-34 (2.39). On MTV, the '2016 MTV Movie Awards' brought in 1.45 million viewers and a 1.02 rating among females 12-34, ranking third on the night in that demo behind its 'Teen Mom' lead-in (1.06/1.28 million) and, of course, 'Dead' (1.98). Bravo also had a very successful night with strong showings from 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' (1.0 rating in W18-49/1.76 million viewers), 'Shahs of Sunset' (0.97/1.6 million), and 'Real Housewives of Potomac' (0.97/1.51 million). Over at Disney Channel, 'KC Undercover' (1.0 rating in F12-34/2.03 million viewers) and 'Liv and Maddie' (0.9/1.76 million) stayed solid, while at E!, 'I Am Cait' (0.41 in W18-49/785,000) saw a dramatic rise from last week (533,000). On the premium cable nets, HBO's 'Last Week Tonight' (0.36 in 18-49/909,000) led in the demo, but the season finale of 'Billions' (0.32/1.01 million) wasn't too far behind despite airing without its usual 'Shameless' lead-in. Showtime also had the season five premiere of 'House of Lies' which hit series-low numbers in both the demo (0.17 rating) and total viewers (399,000); the previous low was 0.18/441,000. Other premieres include 'Dice' (also Showtime) which had a low start (0.11/254,000), and two episodes of Starz's 'The Girlfriend Experience' (both 0.11/363,000 & 334,000). Finally, HBO had 'Girls' (0.27/656,000), 'Vinyl' (0.24/753,000) and the finale of 'Togetherness' (0.12/398,000).

Saturday April 9, 2016 Nielsen Finals

'NBA Basketball' between the Warriors and Grizzlies, on ESPN, took victory on Saturday cable with a 0.83 adults 18-49 rating (1.15 rating in men of that demo) and 2.24 million viewers. The game also did well in males 12-34 (1.03 rating) and people 18-34 (0.76) leading cable in both. On Lifetime, original movie 'The Cheerleader Murders' (1.4 million viewers) led cable in the women 18-49 demo (0.66 rating) and tied for second (with Adult Swim's 'Parasyte') in F12-34 (0.53 rating) just behind 'Dimension W' (0.57). Over at Starz, the second season premiere of 'Outlander' brought in the show's best numbers to-date with a 0.39 key demo rating and 1.46 million viewers. This tops the previous high, set by the season 1 midseason finale back in 2014 (0.38 rating, 1.42 million viewers), and more than doubles the numbers of the show's series premiere (0.19/721,000). On Hallmark Channel, original movie 'Hearts of Spring' saw modest numbers in W18-49 (0.35 rating), but performed best in people over 50 (1.72 rating) and total viewers (2.22 million). Nickelodeon's usual Saturday trio, 'Henry Danger' (0.45 in F12-34/1.65 million), 'Bella and the Bulldogs' (0.37/1.3 million) and 'School of Rock' (0.36/1.47 million) remained solid. Other programs of note include: Reelz's 'Autopsy' (0.05/272,000) & 'Copycat Killers' (0.05/152,000), Esquire's 'Beowulf' (0.03/168,000), and Ovation's 'The Artful Detective' (0.01/171,000).

ESPN's coverage of the 'Masters Golf Tournament' led a snoozy Friday on cable, averaging a 0.62 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.06 million viewers. It also led among men of that demographic with a 1.01 rating and ranked second among males 12-34 (0.66) behind Adult Swim's 'Children Hospital' (0.86, 1.41 million viewers). That program also ranked third among females 12-34 (0.64 rating) behind Disney Channel's 'Stuck in the Middle' (0.70, 1.64 million) and 'Backstage' (0.69, 1.25 million). Disney's other entries were 'Bunk'd' (0.6, 1.4 million) and 'Mako Mermaids' (0.46, 924,000). Thursday April 7, 2016 Nielsen Finals

TNT's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Spurs and Warriors led all of Thursday cable in both the key demo (1.5 rating) and total viewers (3.44 million), as well as in men 18-49 (2.16 rating) and males 12-34 (2.01). Interestingly, with few programs vying for female eyes, the game also led cable in women 18-49 (0.85) and females 12-34 (0.66). The only real competition in those demos came from USA's 'WWE Smackdown' (0.66/0.57) and Lifetime's 'Project Runway Allstars' (0.46/0.32); in total viewers those two programs averaged 2.44 million and 1.34 million respectively. On A&E Network, '60 Days In' (0.78 rating, 1.72 million) scored the second-best rating of the day and 'The First 48' (0.54, 1.32 million) was also strong. Over at MTV, 'Real World: Go Big or Go Home' saw its best numbers in the F12-34 demo (0.36 rating) and at WEtv, 'Mary Mary' was strongest in W18-49 (0.35); in total viewers, they were at 497,000 and 590,000. Elsewhere was Spike's 'Lip Sync Battle' (0.55/1.1 million), Animal Planet's 'River Monsters' (0.30/856,000), FX's 'Archer' (0.41/754,000), and TruTV's 'Impractical Jokers' (0.36/789,000). 

Wednesday April 6, 2016 Nielsen Finals

'NBA Basketball' between the Rockets and Mavericks, on ESPN, led a crowded, but low-rated day on Wednesday cable with a 0.62 key demo rating and 1.46 million viewers. The game also led cable in the major male demos, including males 12-34 (0.83 rating) and men 18-49 (0.92). On MTV, 'Catfish' (933,000 viewers) brought in the day's best figures in major female demos, notching a 0.86 in F12-34 and 0.72 in W18-49, and is one of MTV's best performing programs. Some other top performing programs in F12-34 include Freeform's 'Baby Daddy' (0.48, 592,000 viewers) and 'Young and Hungry' (0.44, 538,000), as well as Bravo's 'Real Housewives of NYC' (0.45, 1.25 million) though the latter program performed much better in W18-49 (0.7). Over at FX, 'The Americans' (1.04 million) saw its best viewership figures since the season premiere (1.11 million), rebounding nicely from last week's near series-low (820,000). Other scripted series on the night include 'Underground' (0.34/978,000) on WGN America, 'The Soul Man' (0.12/398,000) on TV Land, 'Schitt's Creek' (0.04/224,000) on Pop, and 'Hap and Leonard' (0.05/192,000) on Sundance TV. Elsewhere was VH1's 'Family Therapy' (0.34/670,000), Comedy Central's 'Broad City' (0.34/591,000), and Syfy's 'Faceoff' (0.28/817,000).

Tuesday April 5, 2016 Nielsen Finals

The season finale of FX's 'American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson' led a busy day on Tuesday cable, delivering a 1.34 adults 18-49 rating and 3.27 million viewers - the best numbers the show has brought in since week 3 back on Feb. 16 (1.35 rating/3.34 million viewers). The audience was split almost half and half between men and women, notching a 1.38 rating in the former and 1.31 in the latter among adults 18-49. On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' saw solid returns in W18-49 (1.07 rating) and total viewers (1.76 million) while on Lifetime, 'Dance Moms' found success in F12-34 (0.88 rating), and averaged 1.42 million viewers. MTV's 'Awkward' (0.53 in F12-34, 523,000 viewers) and Freeform's 'Shadowhunters' (also 0.53, 762,000) both decidedly out-paced their lead-outs 'Faking It' (365,000) and 'Stitchers' (343,000) respectively. Elsewhere was Comedy Central's 'Tosh.0' (0.44/764,000), WGN America's 'Outsiders' (0.32/823,000), Oxygen's 'Bad Girls Club' (0.27/487,000) & 'Like a Boss' (0.07/131,000), and Pop's 'Easiest Game Show Ever' (0.02/79,000). 

Monday April 4, 2016 Nielsen Finals

TBS's coverage of 'March Madness' between Villanova and North Carolina took an easy victory Monday on both broadcast and cable. The game scored a 4.52 rating among adults 18-49 (more than 2 full ratings points ahead of 2nd place 'The Voice') and 13.85 million viewers. It also notched huge numbers in both males 12-34 (5.0 rating) and men 18-49 (5.94). Over at USA Network, three hours of 'WWE Entertainment' ranged between 1.96 and 2.1 in M18-49 and 3.82 million and 4.29 million in total viewers. On VH1, 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' premiered its fifth season to a 2.26 among W18-49 (2.23 in F12-34) and 2.85 million viewers; this was down hugely from last year's premiere (3.54 million) and finale (3.41 million) and was actually the lowest-viewed premiere since the series premiere back in 2012 (1.92 million). On the same net, 'Black Ink Crew' began its fourth season with its best premiere viewership ever (2.22 million), up slightly from last year's premiere (2.12 million) though down a bit from last year's finale (2.53 million). In the subdemos, the program expectedly performed well in both W18-49 (1.82 rating) and F12-34 (1.72). Other programs of note include AMC's 'Better Call Saul' (0.81/1.93 million) which hit its lowest viewership ever, Bravo's 'Vanderpump Rules' (0.53/1.18 million), Syfy's 'The Magicians' (0.28/746,000), and Logo's 'RuPaul's Drag Race' (0.15/327,000).

Sunday April 3, 2016 Nielsen Finals

The season finale of AMC's 'The Walking Dead' strolled to an easy victory, beating everything else on both broadcast and cable on Sunday. The show notched a 6.92 rating in the key demo (6.42 rating in women 18-49, 7.43 in men) and logged 14.2 million viewers. As strong as that is, it was still down from last year's finale (8.16/15.78 million) and this season's premiere (7.43/14.63 million). Lead-out 'Talking Dead' was the second-highest rated program at 3.07 in the demo with 6.38 million viewers. On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' delivered cable's second-best figures in both females 12-34 (1.05 rating) and W18-49 (1.78), averaging 2.81 million viewers. On the same net, 'Real Housewives of Potomac' was at 0.7/1.11 in those demos with 1.64 million viewers. Other basic cable entries include Hallmark's 'When Calls the Heart' (0.25/2.07 million), Oxygen's 'Snapped: Killer Couples' (0.08/243,000), and Ovation's 'Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty' (0.00/19,000). On premium cable, the season finale of Showtime's 'Shameless' (0.66/1.63 million) led the way, down from last year's finale in the demo (0.71), but up in total viewers (1.55 million). 'Billions' wasn't too far behind, averaging 0.33/1.08 million in its penultimate episode of the season. Finally, HBO had 'Last Week Tonight' (0.37/953,000), 'Girls' (0.28/558,000), 'Vinyl' (0.20/567,000), and 'Togetherness' (0.11, 290,000). 

Saturday April 2, 2016 Nielsen Finals

Two 'March Madness' basketball games, on TBS and TNT, dominated the Saturday cable ratings.  North Carolina v. Syracuse scored a huge 3.91 combined A18-49 rating and 12.31 million total viewers while Villanova v. Oklahoma was at 2.93 combined in the demo with 9.97 million viewers. In men 18-49, the two games notched 5.05 and 3.88 ratings respectively. Hallmark Channel aired the movie 'All Yours' which logged solid numbers in women 18-49 (0.44 rating) and total viewers (2.21 million) and Nickelodeon had new episodes of 'The Thundermans' (0.43 rating in females 12-34, 1.56 million viewers), 'Bella and the Bulldogs' (0.42 rating in that demo, 1.39 million), and 'School of Rock' (0.39, 1.42 million). Other programs of note include Oxygen's '#Killerpost' (0.10/263,000), Centric's 'Being' (0.04/93,000), Esquire's 'Beowulf' (0.03/167,000) and Ovation's 'The Artful Detective' (0.01/215,000).

The penultimate episode of the season for THE WALKING DEAD was huge on Twitter this week. There were over 346,000 tweets written by 131,000 different people. Those tweets were seen by 3.96 million unique individuals and generated over 28.09 million impressions. ABC's new Thursday Night line-up was also very big on Twitter. GREY'S ANATOMY had 69,000 tweets with over 3.91 million impressions, SCANDAL had a slightly higher number of tweets (72,000) and impressions (4.42 million), but had a lower unique audience than GREY'S (1.05m vs. 1.69m). The series premiere of THE CATCH had only 17,000 tweets and 1.88 million impressions. THE TONIGHT SHOW on March 24th (featuring ZAYN) notched 213,000 tweets, 1.32 million uniques, and 4.67 million impressions - ranked #5 on the week. On premium cable, HBO's GIRLS had 5,000 tweets (623,000 impressions), and Starz's BLACK SAILS had 7,000 tweets (231,000 impressions).

Friday April 1, 2016 Nielsen Finals

ESPN coverage of 'NBA Basketball' easily led an otherwise slow night on Friday cable. Coverage of the Celtics v. Warriors led the day with a 1.14 rating in the key demo, and took easy victories in males 12-34 (1.4 rating) and men 18-49 (1.67). With 2.69 million viewers, it was also the highest-viewed program on cable. On Lifetime, the 'Bring it! Reunion' saw the day's second-highest returns in women 18-49 (0.59), just 3 hundredths behind basketball. In total viewers, the program was at just over 1 million viewers. Over on Disney Channel, 'Stuck in the Middle' delivered the day's best numbers in females 12-34 (0.64 rating) and logged 1.59 million viewers. On the same net, 'Bunk'd' notched a 0.55 rating in that demo with 1.47 million viewers, and 'Backstage' was also at 0.55 with 1.12 million viewers. Elsewhere on the scripted side was USA's 'Motive' (0.20/706,000), Syfy's 'Wynonna Earp' (0.20/801,000), Cinemax's 'Banshee' (0.10/356,000), HBO's 'Animals.' (0.04/149,000), and Chiller's 'Slasher' (0.02/76,000). 

Thursday March 31, 2016 Nielsen Finals

TNT's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the LA Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder led all of cable on Thursday with a 0.77 A18-49 rating and 1.76 million viewers. The game also led the day in males 12-34 (1.05 rating) and men 18-49 (1.06). On USA Network, 'WWE Smackdown' also showed strength in those subdemos (0.71/0.78 ratings respectively) and was the highest-viewed program on the list with 2.33 million viewers. In female-skewing programs, Lifetime's 'Project Runway All Stars' saw success in women 18-49 (0.56 rating) and MTV's 'Real World: Go Big or Go Home' saw modest returns in females 12-34 (0.42); in total viewers, those two programs were at 1.42 million and 475,000. In scripted fare, 'Archer,' on FX, remained strong with 0.75 rating in M12-34 and 1.07 million viewers. Other programs of note include: WEtv's 'Mary Mary' (0.21/505,000), CMT's 'Party Down South' (0.25/505,000) & 'Redneck Island' (0.13/279,000), Pop's 'Celebrity Name Game' (0.06/133,000), and Showtime's 'Gigolos' (0.05/220,000). 

Wednesday March 30, 2016 Nielsen Finals

Lifetime's 'Little Women LA' led a low-rated Wednesday on cable with a 0.47 A18-49 rating and 1.22 million viewers. The program also led the day in women 18-49, registering a 0.67 rating in that demo. Two episodes of 'Terra's Little Fam' were at 0.50/0.58 in that demo with 1.04 million/1.14 million viewers. Over at Freeform, 'Young & Hungry' and 'Baby Daddy' delivered modest numbers in both females 12-34 (0.37/0.34 ratings) and total viewers (485,000/457,000). MTV's 'Catfish' scored the day's best numbers that demo with a 0.73 rating and the day's second-best numbers in W18-49 with a 0.63 (822,000 total viewers). At FX, 'The Americans' hit its second-lowest viewership ever (820,000), though it came dangerously close to the series-low (811,000 on Feb. 25, 2015). Elsewhere, Comedy Central's 'Broad City' was strong in the key demo (0.36 rating) and averaged 631,000 viewers. Other programs of note include: Syfy's 'Face Off' (0.33/965,000), WGN America's 'Underground' (0.29/915,000), and Pop's 'Schitt's Creek' (0.06/183,000).

Tuesday March 29, 2016 Nielsen Finals

'American Crime Story,' on FX, led the cable ratings on Tuesday with a 1.11 rating in the key demo and 2.76 million viewers, it was the only cable program to score above a 1.0 rating and actually out-rated 5 programs airing on the broadcast nets. 'Story' was relatively even between men and women, skewing towards males in the younger 12-34 demo, but ever-so-slightly leaning female in the 18-49s (full sub-demo info in the fourth table below). HGTV's 'Fixer Upper' was just one one-hundredth of a ratings point off from a rounded 1.0 and was the highest viewed program on the list at 3.84 million. Over at Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' scored the day's second-best numbers in women 18-49 (1.13 v. 1.2 for 'Fixer') and delivered 1.83 million viewers while at Lifetime, 'Dance Moms' was the top rated telecast in females 12-34 (0.83 rating) and found 1.51 million viewers. Elsewhere, Freeform's 'Shadowhunters' pulled modest numbers in both F12-34 (0.59 rating) and total viewers (821,000), but 'Stitchers' remained low at just 459,000. Other programs of note include Comedy Central's 'Tosh.0' (0.51/839,000), TBS's 'Separation Anxiety' (0.38/870,000), MTV's 'Awkward' (0.25/479,000) & 'Faking It' (0.19/371,000), WGN America's 'Outsiders' (0.27/809,000), and Oxygen's 'Bad Girls Club' (0.29/620,000).

Monday March 28, 2016 Nielsen Finals

VH1's 'Love & Hip Hop' and the middle-hour of USA Network's 'WWE Smackdown' tied for first place on Monday cable, each finishing with a 1.36 rating in the key 18-49 demo. 'Hip Hop' took the top spots of the day in both females 12-34 (1.96 rating) and women 18-49 (2.0), while 9pm 'Smackdown' led in key male demos including 12-34 (1.58) and men 18-49 (1.72). In total viewers, the two programs were at 2.58 million and 3.85 million viewers respectively. VH1's lead-out programs, two episodes of 'K. Michelle: My Life' notched 1.41/1.28 ratings in W18-49 and 1.77 million/1.57 million viewers; 'Hit the Floor' finished off the night with 0.95 in that demo and 1.21 million viewers. Elsewhere on cable, AMC's 'Better Call Saul' scored solid ratings in M18-49 (1.07) and total viewers (2.03 million) while MTV's 'Teen Mom' was strong in F12-34 (1.55 rating) and delivered 1.75 million viewers. Over at Freeform, 'The Fosters' saw its best numbers in the F12-34 demo (0.68 rating) and logged 778,000 total viewers; 'Recovery Road' floundered with only 462,000. Other programs of note include A&E's 'Bates Motel' (0.57/1.52 million) & 'Damien' (0.17/479,000), Syfy's 'The Magicians' (0.28/723,000) & 'Bitten' (0.07/239,000), and TBS's 'Angie Tribeca' (0.30/646,000). 

Sunday March 27, 2016 Nielsen Finals

AMC's 'The Walking Dead' again led everything on both broadcast and cable in its penultimate episode of the season. The program scored a 5.83 adults 18-49 rating and nearly 12.4 million viewers, out-rating TBS's coverage of 'March Madness' between North Carolina and Notre Dame, which itself was already huge with a 3.37 rating and 10.11 million viewers. 'Dead' also out-rated the game in males 12-34 (5.06 v. 3.32 ratings) and men 18-49 (6.17 v. 4.56). Lead-out 'Talking Dead' also performed well, out-rating TBS's other game, Virginia/Syracuse, by just 3 hundredths in 18-49s (2.34 v. 2.31), though the game logged nearly 2.5 million more viewers (7.6 million v. 5 million). On Bravo 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' and 'Real Housewives of Potomac' both drew stellar ratings in women 18-49 (1.69/1.09 respectively) and in total viewers (2.8 million/1.6 million). On that same network, 'What What Happens Live' (0.5/1.17 million) out-rated 'Thicker Than Water' (0.48/1.06 million). In the battle of the premium cable nets, Showtime beat HBO with strong showings from both  'Shameless' (1.45 million) and 'Billions' (1.1 million); the latter lagged behind with meager performances from 'Vinyl' (666,000), 'Girls' (586,000), and 'Togetherness' (333,000). Among the micro-rated was Ovation's 'Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty' (28,000) and 'Rough Draft with Reza Aslan' (6,000). 

Saturday March 26, 2016 Nielsen Finals

On a little-watched Saturday, Freeform took the top spot with the film 'Frozen' which pulled in top numbers in females 12-34 (0.84 rating) and women 18-49 (0.81). Its 1.96 million total viewers was enough for second on the day behind Nickelodeon's 'Henry Danger' (2.12 million) though 'Danger' ranked second in F12-34 (0.73). Also on Nick was 'School of Rock' which pulled a 0.57 in that demo (1.63 million viewers) and 'Bella and the Bulldogs' which was at 0.53 (1.29 million viewers). Of note, Starz had the third season finale of 'Black Sails' (0.17/644,000) which was on par with last season's finale (0.20/668,000), but down sharply from this season's premiere back in January (0.27/843,000). Other programs of note include Reelz's 'Autopsy' (0.07/241,000) & 'Copycat Killers' (0.08/200,000), Oxygen's '#Killerpost' (0.08/256,000), and Centric's 'Being' (0.04/104,000). Elsewhere in the micro-rated was Esquire' 'Beowulf' (0.03/142,000) and Ovation's 'The Artful Detective' (0.02/122,000).

Friday March 25, 2016 Nielsen Finals

Coverage of 'March Madness' on TBS again led the day on cable, though today's numbers are ever-so-slightly more impressive than yesterday's. North Carolina/Indiana led the day in men 18-49 (2.1 rating) and total viewers (5 million), just barely behind broadcast coverage of Gonzaga/Syracuse on CBS which was at 2.4 in that demo with 6.25 million viewers. TBS's other game, Wisconsin/Notre Dame, was also strong at 1.7 in M18-49 and 4.8 million viewers. Outside of sports, 'Bring It!,' on Lifetime, scored identical ratings in both females 12-34 & women 18-49 (0.51) with 875,000 viewers, and 'Atlanta 'Plastic' was at 0.51/0.49 in those demos with 881,000 viewers. Over at Disney Channel, 'Stuck in the Middle' (0.73 in F12-34) outperformed 'Bunked' (0.67) and 'Backstage' (0.63) in both the demo and total viewers (1.73 million/1.63 million/1.23 million). At HBO, 'Real Time with Bill Maher' (1.38 million) was miles ahead of 'Vice' (635,000) and 'Animals.' (256,000). Among the micro-rated, Showtime aired 'Spring Broke' which logged 131,000, and Chiller had a new episode of 'Slasher' (53,000). 

Thursday March 24, 2016 Nielsen Finals

TBS coverage of 'March Madness' dominated the cable ratings, drawing 4.03 million viewers for the game between Duke and Oregon and a strong 1.94 rating among men 18-49. The Texas A&M/Oklahoma game found 2.82 million viewers and a 1.21 M18-49 rating. Over at USA Network, 'WWE Smackdown' pulled a robust 2.5 million viewers and strong demo numbers across the board. Other highlights of the night include Lifetime's 'Project Runway Allstars' (0.55 rating among women 18-49) which logged 1.43 million viewers, and MTV's 'Real World' (0.37 in that demo) at 502,000. In finales, FX had the inaugural season finale of 'Baskets' (564,000) and IFC had the season finale of 'Portlandia' (120,000). Finally, Showtime's 'Gigolos' remained low with 149,000.

ESPN's coverage of NBA BASKETBALL between the Clippers & Warriors led the night on cable with 2.54 million total viewers and a 1.73 M18-49 rating. On that same net, the Knicks/Bulls game was at 1.42 million and 0.94 in M18-49. Comedy Central's BROAD CITY dropped to a series-low 569,000 viewers (0.50 in P18-34, 0.48 in M12-34), and Syfy's FACE OFF ticked down to 890,000. THE AMERICANS, on FX, was at 933,000 for its second episode of the season (0.25 in M18-49/0.32 in women), and UNDERGROUND, on WGN America, was at 895,000 (0.19/0.29). On Freeform, BABY DADDY fell to 436,000 viewers (0.32 in F12-34), and YOUNG & HUNGRY was down to 450,000 (0.37 in that demo). At Lifetime, LITTLE WOMEN LA delivered the day's best numbers among W18-49 with a 0.86 (1.5 million viewers); LITTLE WOMEN ATL REUNION was at 0.73 in that demo (1.16 million), and two episodes of TERRA'S LITTLE FAM were at 0.62/0.57 (1.24 mil/1.14 mil). MTV's CATFISH also brought in strong numbers in that demo (0.76), but was even better in F12-34 (0.99) where it lead cable. Other programs of note include Pop's SCHITT'S CREEK (206,000), SundanceTV's HAP AND LEONARD (208,000), and two episodes of GAC's CELEBRITY MOTOR HOMES (59,000 & 51,000).

TUESDAY MARCH 22, 2016 CABLE TV RATINGS

FX's AMERICAN CRIME STORY led the day in the 18-49 demo with a 1.19 rating, and also saw top numbers in adults 25-54 (1.35), men & women 18-49 (1.2 & 1.19), and 18-34 (1.01 & 0.96). Over at Bravo, REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS rose to 1.83 million (1.04 in W18-49), and on OWN, IF LOVING YOU IS WRONG dropped to 2.2 million (0.86 in that demo); also of note was HGTV's FIXER UPPER which was massive at 1.15 in W18-49 and logged 3.54 million viewers. Freeform's SHADOWHUNTERS aired for the first time without a PRETTY LITTLE LIARS lead-in and retained almost its entire audience from last week, down a mere 3,000 viewers to 781,000, the show also stayed solid in F12-34 (0.57 rating); STITCHERS, on the other hand, premiered its second season to just 433,000 viewers, down from its Halloween episode in October (491,000) and its season one finale back in August (805,000). OUTSIDERS, on WGN America, dropped to a season low in 18-49's (0.22), and lost ~60K viewers to 673,000. At Lifetime, DANCE MOMS delivered identical W18-49 & F12-34 ratings (0.70) and E!'s TOTAL DIVAS nearly pulled off the same feat though was up a hundredth in W18-49 (0.42/0.41). MTV's AWKWARD rose to 576,000 viewers (0.68 in W18-34) and FAKING IT rose over 100K viewers to 398,000 (0.45 in that demo). PRANCING ELITES PROJECT, on Oxygen, was down a bit to 333,000, GANGSTERS, on Reelz, concluded with 177,000 , and LEGENDARY MOTORCAR, on Velocity, rose about 60K viewers to 270,000. Among lower-rated cables there was TV One's HERE WE GO AGAIN (157,000) & the penultimate episode of BORN AGAIN VIRGIN (168,000), as well as Esquire's finale of FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES (266,000), and premiere of FRIDAY NIGHT TYKES: STEEL CITY (137,000).

MONDAY MARCH 21, 2016 CABLE TV RATINGS

AMC's BETTER CALL SAUL rose from last week's series-low to 2.105 million viewers (vs.  1.99 mil), and was strongest in the men 18-49 demo (1.15 rating). It is still far ahead of BREAKING BAD which only scored 1.41 million viewers for the sixth episode of its second season.

VH1's LOVE & HIP HOP returned after a week off, and stayed strong with 2.41 million viewers and notched a 1.92 in women 18-49 (and 1.82 in F12-34). Also on VH1 was STEVIE J & JOSELINE which climbed almost 900K viewers (!) to 1.87 million (1.43/1.3 ratings in those demos), K. MICHELLE: MY LIFE which rose over 700K viewers to 1.79 million (1.39/1.23), and HIT THE FLOOR which rose exactly 400K viewers to 1.32 million (1.08/1.04). Also pulling strong numbers in those demos was Bravo's VANDERPUMP RULES (1.05/0.69) and MTV's TEEN MOM II (1.50/1.53). Over at Freeform, THE FOSTERS gained 69K viewers to 800,000 (0.64 in F12-34, and RECOVERY ROAD rose 50, to 491,000 (0.47). Syfy's LOST GIRL had 342,000 viewers for its series finale, down almost half from its season premiere last April (654,000), and down hugely from its American premiere back in January 2012 (1.474 million). Also airing on Syfy was THE MAGICIANS which rose to 778,000 (0.35 in men 18-49, 0.29 in women), and BITTEN which ticked up to 339,000. BATES MOTEL, on A&E, was up slightly to 1.46 million viewers (0.73 in W18-49), but DAMIEN dipped to 515,000 (0.27 in that demo). On TBS, AMERICAN DAD dropped to 958,000 viewers (0.64 in M18-49), FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE had a 650,000 (0.35 in M18-49, 0.23 in women), and an ANGIE TRIBECA rerun ("Inside Man") found 536,000 (0.31/0.17). Other notables include Logo's RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE, (286,000), TV One's FATAL ATTRACTION (279,000), and AHC's AGAINST THE ODDS (237,000). Finally, on Smithsonian, the season finale of MAJOR LEAGUE LEGENDS had 90,000.

SUNDAY MARCH 20, 2016 CABLE TV RATINGS

AMC's THE WALKING DEAD again led the Sunday cable ratings with 12.69 million total viewers and a 6.04 adults 18-49 rating (6.4 in men, 5.68 in women), and also scored well in adults 18-34 (5.07), and adults 25-54 (6.7). Lead-out TALKING DEAD rose to 5.33 million (2.32 M18-49 rating, 2.49 in women), and COMIC BOOK MEN was  down to 740,000 (0.39/0.31). Other leaders for the night were Bravo's REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA and REAL HOUSEWIVES OF POTOMAC which were at 3.01 million and 1.7 million viewers respectively, and 2.19 & 1.22 in women 18-49. On Showtime, SHAMELESS had 1.68 million viewers (0.64 in M18-49, 0.62 in women), and BILLIONS rose 40K to 1.13 million (0.48/0.28). Closing out Showtime's night was THE CIRCUS at 222,000. E!'s I AM CAIT continued its decent, down to 722,000 viewers (0.44 in W18-49), and Hallmark's WHEN CALLS THE HEART was down to 1.8 million (0.39 in W18-49, 1.31 in P50+). Over at HBO, VINYL, and LAST WEEK TONIGHT dropped to 570,000 and 932,000 respectively, while GIRLS and TOGETHERNESS both rose to 535,000 and 332,000 respectively. On Disney Channel, LIV AND MADDIE delivered a strong 1.11 F12-34 rating with 1.77 million viewers, and both KC UNDERCOVER (1.09) & BEST FRIENDS WHENEVER (0.93) also had solid returns in that demo. Among lower rated cables were Smithsonian's AIR DISASTERS (214,000) & ALASKA AIRCRASH INVESTIGATIONS (141,000), and Ovation's RACHEL HUNTER'S TOUR OF BEAUTY, (46,000), ROUGH DRAFT WITH REZA ASLAN (16,000), and LILY COLE'S ART MATTERS (2,000).
