Ariana Grande's 'positions' spent another week atop the radio ratings, logging 16,588 radio plays and reaching an audience of over 54 million in the week ending Dec. 24, 2020. It edged out 24KGOLDEN's 'Mood' by just under 500 plays (16,068) though both had a healthy margin over third-ranked Justin Bieber's 'Holy' (15,074). Of note outside of the top 20 below was Ed Sheeran's 'Afterglow' (3,597 plays/14.79 million audience), Taylor Swift's 'Willow' (3,254/9.87 million), Conan Gray's 'Heather' (2,139/4.07 million), and Max's 'Blueberry Eyes' (513/438,000).

Other songs of note from that chart include Harry Styles's 'Watermelon Sugar' (4,717) & 'Adore You' (4,090), Post Malone's 'Circles' (4,212) & 'Better Now' (1,606), Doja Cat's 'Say So' (3,086), and Sam Smith's 'Dancing with a Stranger' (1,901).

In the album sales metric, Taylor Swift's 'Evermore' again topped the week with 169,000 album-equivalent units sold according to Nielsen (165,700 using Rolling Stone's data - see note below the chart for why Rolling Stone & Billboard have different numbers). Sister album 'Folklore' dropped to 8th on the week with 53,000 units. Paul McCartney's 'McCartney III' debuted at number two with 107,000 units and Eminem's remastered 'Music to be Murdered By' took the third spot with 94,000. Christmas albums took 5 of the top 10 spots of the week with Michael Buble's 'Christmas' leading the pack at 77,000.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to present the album sales chart so I've included the top 10 albums according to both Rolling Stone and Billboard. The two sites have different sources of data (Rolling Stone is from Alpha Data while Billboard is from Nielsen) so I thought it would be good to include both. Rolling Stone publishes this data for the full top 200 albums, but Billboard only publishes the raw data for the top 10, so for ease we'll stick with top 10 for both for now. For comparison purposes, if an album makes the Billboard top 10, but not the Rolling Stone top 10, I will still include it in the Rolling Stone chart.
