TV Ratings: Friday July 10, 2020

It was a boring Friday night on the broadcast nets with only two originals airing on the night: FOX's 'WWE Friday Night Smackdown' and the CW's 'Masters of Illusion.' The former had more than double the numbers of the latter in both adults 18-49 (0.5 vs. 0.2) and total viewers (1.9 million vs. 727,000), and triple the numbers in adults 25-54 (0.6 vs. 0.2). The most viewed program on the whole night came from a 9pm rerun of CBS's 'Magnum PI' (3.78 million).

On the cable side, Fox News's primetime line-up took the top 3 spots on the day in adults 18-49 and 25-54 with 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' on top (0.29 in 18-49/0.50 in 25-54, 3.76 million) and 'Hannity' (0.26/0.44, 3.39 million) & 'Ingraham Angle' (0.25/0.45, 2.91 million) not far behind. MSNBC's 'Rachel Maddow' was right up there too with just a hundredth behind 'Ingraham' in 18-49 (0.24), less than a tenth in 25-54 (0.37), and actually ~350K viewers greater (3.25 million). On that same net was 'Lawrence O'Donnell' (0.17/0.25, 2.11 million) and 'Chris Hayes' (0.14/0.20, 2.02 million).

CNN's ratings weren't anything special with the top three airings of the day coming from 'CNN Newsroom' at 12pm (0.21/0.29, 1.26 million) & 1pm (0.20/0.28, 1.39 million), and an 8pm 'Anderson Cooper 360' (0.20/0.29, 1.61 million).

At TLC, a '90 Day Fiance' special at 8pm was at 0.17 in the demo (0.23 in W18-49) with 849,000 viewers, but lead-out '90 Day Fiance: FL' was a bit higher at 0.21 in the demo (0.31 in women) with 1.13 million viewers. WEtv's 'Love After Lockup' (0.12, 382,000) also scored well in that W18-49 demo (0.19).

Over at VH1, 'RuPaul All Stars' (0.22, 514,000) notched the day's best numbers among adults 18-34 (0.24) and 'Untucked: All Stars' (0.15, 381,000) ranked second (0.19).

Finally, the season finale of Cinemax's 'Trackers' was minuscule at 0.01 in the demo with 48,000 viewers.
