Cable Network Ratings: 1/8 - 1/14/2018

Recap of top basic cable networks in primetime for the week ending January 14, 2018. 

ESPN took the primetime victory for the week, averaging 4.683 million viewers. Outside of cable news, HGTV took the fourth spot on the week (1.476 million), and USA Network took fifth (1.269 million). 


Other networks averaging over 1 million viewers include: Investigation Discovery (1.179 million), History (1.178 million), Discovery (1.08 million), TNT (1.062 million), TBS (1.051 million), and A&E (1.038 million). 

Among cable news networks, FOX News ranked second on the week (2.212 million), MSNBC was in third (1.992 million), CNN was 13th (960,000), CNBC was 42nd (364,000), HLN was 51st (279,000), and FOX Business was 83rd (93,000).
