TV Ratings: Thursday June 4, 2020

ABC's 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?' led the whole day on both broadcast and cable in adults 18-49 (0.85 rating) and total viewers (6.52 million). It also brought in the day's top numbers in both adults 18-34 (0.5 rating) and 25-54 (1.2). Lead-outs 'Holey Moley' (0.70 in 18-49, 3.83 million) and 'To Tell the Truth' (0.60, 3.58 million) both remained solid, each losing just an unrounded tenth from last week.

There was some positive news for CBS as new episodes of both 'Man with a Plan' (0.60, 4.84 million) and 'Broke' (0.57, 4.06 million) retained last week's numbers. The same was the case for NBC's 'Council of Dads' (0.37, 2.74 million) and 'Blindspot' (0.31, 1.96 million). Over at FOX, 'Celebrity Watch Party' (0.37, 1.44 million) had strong week-to-week retention though 'Labor of Love' (0.22, 900,000) dipped below 1 million viewers. Finally, the CW had new episodes of 'Burden of Truth' (0.09, 515,000) and 'In the Dark' (0.09, 447,000).

On the cable side, it was another strong night for news nets with CNN's primetime line-up taking three of the top five spots in both adults 18-49 and 25-54. At 9pm, 'Cuomo Primetime' (0.54 in 18-49/0.75 n 25-54, 2.82 million) was the top cable telecast in both demos, followed by 10pm's 'CNN Tonight' (0.48/0.69, 2.16 million) in second, and 'Anderson Cooper 360' (2.42 million) rankling fourth in 18-49 (0.45) and fifth in 25-54 (0.63).

Fox News, again, had strong performances from the usual suspects: 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' (0.40/0.64, 4.32 million), 'Hannity' (0.40/0.66, 4.45 million) and 'Ingraham Angle' (0.37/0.59, 3.7 million). MSNBC's top three were 'Rachel Maddow' (0.30/0.43, 3.41 million), 'Lawrence O'Donnell' (0.22/0.34, 2.61 million), and 'Chris Hayes' (0.21/0.28, 2.15 million).

Outside of news, a dominating performance by MTV's 'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' (0.46 in 18-49, 882,000) delivered cable's best numbers in women 18-49 (0.57 rating), adults 18-34 (0.40), and females 12-34 (0.47). Other top performers in W18-49 were Bravo's 'Real Housewives of NYC' (0.37 in 18-49/0.52 in W18-49, 1.18 million) & 'Top Chef' (0.28/0.37, 845,000), and E!'s 'Total Bellas' (0.17/0.24, 411,000). WEtv's 'Growing Up Hip Hop' (0.21, 543,000) had a 0.27 rating in that demo.

For the record, the top ratings in men 18-49 all came from cable news with 'Cuomo Primetime' (0.55 rating) 'Tucker Carlson' (0.45) and 'CNN Tonight' (0.45) on top. The top non-news telecast in that demo came from 'Jersey Shore' (0.34).
