TV Ratings: Tuesday June 16, 2020

NBC's 'America's Got Talent,' again strolled to an easy victory Tuesday on the broadcast nets. The program delivered a strong 1.28 18-49 rating with 8.57 million total viewers (besting everything on cable too). In addition, it averaged a 0.8 18-34 rating and a 1.8 25-54 rating. Lead-out 'World of Dance' lost 4-tenths in the demo (0.85) and fell by half in total viewers (4.16 million) though was still easily the second-best on the day in either metric. Other originals on the night include ABC's 'Genetic Detective' (0.38 in 18-49, 2.8 million) and the CW's 'Stargirl' (0.19, 940,000). The CW's other program, 'Marina Franklin: Single Black Female' hit one of the only ever rounded zero ratings in the history of broadcast television (0.04) and found just 290,000 viewers.

On the cable side, the top non-news programs of the day were Bravo's 'Vanderpump Rules' (0.36 in 18-49/0.46 in W18-49, 1.06 million viewers), followed by Discovery's 'Deadliest Catch' (0.32/0.37 in M18-49, 1.46 million) and MTV's 'Siesta Key' (0.29/0.35 in W18-49, 594,000). Leading-out 'Vanderpump' was 'Million Dollar Listing LA' at 0.28 in the demo, 0.33 among W18-49, and 863,000 viewers.

TLC had new episodes of 'Outdaughtered' (0.25, 1.31 million) and 'Sweet Home Sextuplets' (0.22, 1.12 million) which both found success among both women 18-49 (0.38 and 0.33 ratings) and females 12-34 (0.34 and 0.24 ratings). OWN's 'If Loving You is Wrong' (0.21, 1.16 million) registered 0.29 and 0.19 ratings in those respective demos.

Elsewhere was USA's 'Dirty John' (0.19, 805,000) and the animated special episode of 'One Day at a Time' (0.05, 342,000) which aired on both TV Land (0.04, 304,000) and its home network Pop (0.01, 38,000).

In cable news, it was no surprise to see Fox News's 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' again atop the ratings 18-49 (0.34 rating), 25-54 (0.56), and total viewers (4.04 million). It also interestingly beat out 'Hannity' (0.31/0.54, 3.9 million) among people over 50 (3.05 vs. 3.01), a demo that 'Hannity' usually carries. Finishing out primetime was 'The Ingraham Angle' (0.28/0.49, 3.6 million).

CNN had 'CNN Tonight' (0.23/0.35, 1.43 million), 'Cuomo Primetime' (0.22/0.34, 1.7 million), and 'Anderson Cooper 360' (0.18/0.29, 1.45 million) while MSNBC had 'The Rachel Maddow Show' (0.22/0.35, 2.91 million) and 'Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell' (0.17/0.26, 2.2 million).
