DVR Ratings: Week Ending March 19, 2017

Below are the DVR ratings for the week ending March 19, 2017. There are three charts below: the first includes Live+3 day time-shifted data for all programs that aired on the broadcast networks, and the second includes Live+7 time-shifted data for available broadcast programs, and the third includes Live+7 time-shifted data for programs that aired on cable networks. There are columns for both 18-49 increase and for total viewership increase and while many programs will have data provided for both metrics, some programs will only have data for one or the other depending on what was available.

Legion (FX): Ratings Recap

UPDATED 2019: 'Legion,' on FX, premiered in 2017 to a 0.69 adults 18-49 rating with 1.62 million viewers, held above 1 million viewers for 2 subsequent episodes, before falling into the 700,000s for the next four episodes and ultimately concluding to a 0.42 rating with 812,000 viewers, averaging 950,000 viewers over 8 episodes. A second season premiered in 2018 to a 0.30 rating with 669,000 viewers, down by almost 150,000 viewers from the previous season finale. It hit a series-low 0.12 rating with 315,000 viewers for its second season finale, and only averaged a 0.19 rating and 430,000 viewers over 11 episodes. A third season aired in 2019 and fell even further, averaging just a 0.12 rating with 335,000 viewers and was not renewed for a fourth season.

Friday Night Tykes (Esquire): Ratings Recap

Esquire's 'Friday Night Tykes' premiered with a double episode on January 14, 2014 to twin 0.06 ratings with 150,000 & 120,000 viewers. The season as a whole remained relatively stable, ranging in the low-to-mid 100,000s, concluding to 159,000 and a 0.08 rating. A second season premiered in 2015 to a 0.10 rating with 182,000 viewers, and was slightly higher, averaging in the high-100,000s and low 200,000s, concluding to a 0.11 rating with 229,000 viewers. The third season was the highest rated and most-viewed for the series, premiering to a 0.08 rating with 185,000 viewers, but finishing strong with a series-high 0.16 rating with 266,000 viewers. The fourth and final season premiered in 2017 to a 0.04 rating with 92,000 viewers and wasn't ever able to recover, hitting a high of only 128,000 viewers for its series finale.
