TV Ratings: Sunday May 31, 2020

ABC's 'Celebrity Family Feud' led all programming on the broadcast nets Sunday in the 18-49 demo (0.77 rating, 4.62 million viewers) though CBS's '60 Minutes' (0.61, 7.68 million) led in total viewership. Leading out of 'Feud' was 'Press Your Luck' (0.67, 3.41 million) and closing out ABC's night was 'Match Game' (0.57, 2.93 million). NBC, FOX, and the CW were all in reruns. 

On the cable side, '90 Day Fiance,' on TLC, easily led all of cable in adults 18-49 (1.25 rating) and total viewers (4.06 million) as well as in women 18-49 (1.59 rating), adults 18-34 (0.94), females 12-34 (1.04) and people 25-54 (1.56). Lead-out, 'Smothered' (0.48, 1.61 million) also brought in solid returns in W18-49 (0.63) and F12-34 (0.36).

There was good news for TNT as the third episode of 'Snowpiercer' saw increases from last week in both the demo (0.34 in 18-49 vs. 0.30) and total viewers (1.22 million vs. 1.16 million). The program was virtually even between men and women 18-49 (0.34 v. 0.33 respectively) and performed best in people over 50 (0.64). 

Adult Swim also had a good night with a new episode of 'Rick and Morty' (0.69, 1.3 million) taking fifth on day overall in 18-49 and second in 18-34 (0.75), and leading in males 12-34 (0.73). Among men 18-49, it was third (0.83) behind CNN's 10pm 'Cuomo Primetime' (0.95) and TLC's 'Fiance' (0.9). 

Coverage of the "Black Lives Matter" protests around the country again bolstered the ratings of the evening cable news nets with CNN's 8pm-12am coverage logging between 0.96-1.25 ratings among adults 25-54 and between 2.89 million and 3.73 million viewers. Fox News brought in its best numbers in the 10pm and 11pm hours, averaging 0.71 ratings in adults 25-54 and 3.54 million and 3.25 million viewers respectively. MSNBC's 11pm hour was the best on that net with 0.47 in 25-54 and 2.03 million viewers. Their 3 hour primetime coverage was slightly lower at 0.39/1.94 million.

On Starz, the series finale of 'Vida' was at 0.02 in 18-49s with 115,000 viewers. 'Hightown' was at 0.03 & 231,000 for its third episode.
