TV Ratings: Thursday June 18, 2020

Twas another relatively busy evening on the broadcast nets Thursday night with ABC's programming line-up bringing in the top numbers. On top was 'Holey Moley' at 0.70 in the demo with 3.81 million viewers and the best numbers on either broadcast or cable in adults 25-54 (1.0). Lead-out 'Don't' shed a tenth in the demo, down to 0.63 with 3.36 million viewers and 'To Tell the Truth' was at 0.54 with 3.16 million. The best viewership on the day came from a rerun of 'Young Sheldon,' on CBS (4.93 million) and that net's only original program, 'Broke' was pretty solid itself, grabbing 3.61 million (0.47 in the demo). Over at NBC, 'Council of Dads' (0.34, 2.73 million) and 'Blindspot' (0.28, 1.82 million) remained fractional as did FOX's  'Labor of Love' (0.28, 1.04 million) though lead-in 'Celebrity Watch Party' (0.42, 1.57 million) found moderate success. Finally, over at the CW, 'Burden of Truth' (0.08, 478,000) and 'In the Dark' (0.08, 445,000) were low.

On the cable side, 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' (0.60 in 18-49, 1.09 million) led the day among 18-49, 18-34 (0.48 rating), women 18-49 (0.7), and females 12-34 (0.52). Lead-out 'Double Shot of Love' (0.35, 632,000) was at 0.35 in 18-34, 0.38 in W18-49, and 0.34 in F12-34. Over at Bravo, 'Top Chef' (0.30, 1.04 million) was pretty close between women and men 18-49 (0.33 v. 0.27 ratings), but was quite strong in people 25-54 (0.42).

TBS pulled solid numbers with 'The Misery Index' (0.29, 804,000) and History was pretty stable itself with 'Alone' (0.21, 1.29 million) and 'Mountain Men' (0.19, 1.6 million) both of which skewed ever-so-slightly female in the 18-49s (0.22/0.21 for the former, 0.20/0.18 for the latter). The best demos; however, came from people over 50 with 0.87 and 1.16 ratings respectively. 

In cable news, 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' was again on top in 18-49s (0.34) and total viewers (3.97 million) though 'Hannity' (0.32, 3.85 million) took victory in 25-54s (0.54 vs. 0.52). 'The Ingraham Angle' was close behind at 0.30 in 18-49, 0.53 in 25-54, and 3.38 million viewers. The top 3 airings for CNN came from 'Cuomo Primetime' (0.27 in 18-49/0.40 in 25-54, 1.89 million), 'CNN Tonight' (0.23/0.37, 1.61 million), and 'CNN Global Town Hall' (0.22/0.36, 1.64 million). MSNBC had a strong performance from 'The Rachel Maddow Show' (0.24/0.36, 3.18 million), but 'Lawrence O'Donnell' (0.16/0.24, 2.35 million), and 'Chris Hayes' (0.14/0.22, 1.98 million) lagged.
