Simpson' premiered February 2, 2016 to a 1.96 adults 18-49 rating with over 5.11 million viewers, never fell below a 1.0 rating and averaged a 1.33 rating with 3.29 million viewers over 10 episodes. A second season, titled 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace' premiered in 2018 to a 0.72 rating with 2.22 million viewers, and averaged only a 0.37 rating with 1.22 million viewers over 9 episodes, an almost 1 point ratings drop and a loss of over 2 million viewers from the previous season. A third season of the show is expected to premiere in 2020.
