Below are the weekly streaming/video-on-demand (SVOD) ratings for the week ending March 20, 2022. The chart below includes the top 10 original programs, top 10 movies, and top 10 acquired programs from Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+ measured on total minutes of watch-time. The data represents only viewing within the U.S. and comes from Nielsen Media Research.
The momentum from last week's strong movie debuts continued into this week with Disney+'s 'Turning Red' (1.68 billion minutes) and Netflix's 'The Adam Project' (1.34 billion) again taking the top spots in the streaming rankings. 'Encanto' ranked a distant third in the movie rankings though was still the fourth-most-viewed streaming program overall with 827 million minutes. Elsewhere, Netflix's 'The Last Kingdom' reigned atop original programming with 1.32 billion minutes in its first full week, more than double the high-profile launch of 'Bad Vegan' which logged 609 million minutes in first 5 days. Also of note this week was Netflix's 'Is It Cake?' which managed 477 million in its first 3 days, and 'Life After Death' which missed the chart in its debut week but scored 457 million in its first full week. Finally, NCIS' regained its top position among acquired programming (735 million) while 'Good Girls' dipped to #3 (689 million).
