Top Streaming (SVOD) Ratings: Week Ending March 13, 2022

Below are the weekly streaming/video-on-demand (SVOD) ratings for the week ending March 13, 2022. The chart below includes the top 10 original programs, top 10 movies, and top 10 acquired programs from Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+ measured on total minutes of watch-time. The data represents only viewing within the U.S. and comes from Nielsen Media Research.

It was a strong week in streaming with a number of high-performing launches. Disney+'s new film 'Turning Red' easily took the top spot with just over 1.7 billion minutes of watch-time in its first 3 days of release, outdoing Netflix's new film 'The Adam Project' which collected 1.36 billion. With that, 'Encanto' dipped to #3 in the movie rankings (783 million), its first week not at #1 since the week ending Dec. 26, 2021 where it debuted at #7. In original programming, the fifth-season drop of Netflix's 'The Last Kingdom' logged an impressive 1.42 billion minutes in its first 5 days, slightly edging out 'Pieces of Her' which climbed to #2 in its first full week of availability. Finally, after 3 straight weeks atop the originals list, 'Inventing Anna' dipped to #3 with 812 million minutes.
