Music ratings are divided into two weekly posts: one for albums, and one for individual songs; this is the song post. Songs achieve their positions on the weekly Billboard & Rolling Stone lists based on three major metrics: sales, streaming, and airplay. Below are three charts: the top 25 songs of the week based on total U.S. sales, the top 25 based on total U.S. streaming and the top 40 songs of the week based on U.S. pop radio airplay. An additional radio chart is also included with the top 50 songs of the week according to Mediabase which uses different methodology than Nielsen who compiles the regular chart.
Bolstered by the release of a remix with Ariana Grande, The Weeknd's 'Save Your Tears' soared to the top of the weekly song sales chart with about 18,000 pure sales in the tracking week ending April 29. Masked Wolf's 'Astronaut in the Ocean' rose to a new peak of 2 and with 12,600 sales it was, again, remarkably stable week-to-week. Elsewhere, 'Levitating' from Dua Lipa rose 5-T3 with 10,900 sales (from 9.5K), 'Leave the Door Open' from Bruno Mars dipped 2-T3 with 10,900 (from 13K), and Justin Bieber's 'Peaches' ticked up 6-5 with 8,400 (from 9.2K). Also of note, both Olivia Rodrigo's 'Drivers License' and 'Deja Vu' logged ~3,500 sales, and Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More' rose to 4,700 (from 4.2K). Below the top 25 was: Young Thug's 'Solid', Doja Cat's 'Streets', and Coi Leray's 'No More Parties' which all logged around 1,000 sales. Note: this list only includes songs that had over $38.54K revenue for the week; a song with less than $38.54K in revenue could theoretically have more sales than the 25th ranked song on this list and it would not appear here.

Polo G's 'Rapstar' has spent a third week atop the weekly song streaming chart, registering nearly 29.2 million U.S. streams in the tracking week ending April 29. Though this was down 5 million from last week, it still maintained a healthy margin over second-ranked 'Save Your Tears' which surged to 23.5 million streams this week, up from 10.4 million. This pushed Lil Nas X's 'Montero (Call Me By Your Name)' down to the third position with 20.7 million streams (vs. 22.6M), just ahead of Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More' which rose 5-4 with 20.6 million (vs. 17.6M). Elsewhere, Young Thug's 'Solid' was the only top 10 performer last week to drop out this week, plummeting to 13.1 million streams (from 21.75M). The rest of the top 10 though was the same as last week with the addition of Giveon's 'Heartbreak Anniversary' which ticked up 11-10 (13.8 million). Of note below the top 25 was: Olivia Rodrigo's 'Drivers License' (9.008 million), Drake's 'What's Next' (8.893 million), Glass Animals's 'Heat Waves' (8.315 million), Maroon 5's 'Beautiful Mistakes' (8.001 million), and Gabby Barrett's 'The Good Ones' (7.453 million). Note: this list only includes songs that had over $38.54K revenue for the week; a song with less than $38.54K in revenue could theoretically have more streams than the 25th ranked song on this list and it would not appear here.

The Weeknd's 'Save Your Tears' is easily the story of the week, topping both the song sales chart and the pop radio chart and ranking second on the streaming chart. On pop radio, the track held the top spot for a third consecutive week, rising 391 plays to 15,558 though this is not a super comfortable margin over Justin Bieber's 'Peaches' which roared 6-2 in the rankings this week (up 2191 plays to 13,291) to put itself within striking range of 'Tears.' Also rising this week was Machine Gun Kelly's 'My Ex's Best Friend' which went 4-3 in the rankings and was up 463 plays (to 11,761). With that, Tate McRae's 'You Broke Me First' dropped 2-5 (down 1701 plays) and Olivia Rodrigo's 'Drivers License' declined 3-4 (down 1110) to round out the top 5. Top week-to-week gainers this week came from the aforementioned 'Peaches,' Ariana Grande's 'POV' (up 1584), and Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More' (1326). Finally, Billie Eilish debuted 'Your Power' with 1,418 pop radio plays.
As a final comment, I will note the debut appearance of Sara Kays's 'Remember that Night' on the Mediabase chart; it rose to 309 plays in the week, up from 177 the previous week.
