Music ratings are divided into two weekly posts: one for albums, and one for individual songs; this is the song post. Songs achieve their positions on the weekly Billboard & Rolling Stone lists based on three major metrics: sales, streaming, and airplay. Below are three charts: the top 25 songs of the week based on total U.S. sales, the top 25 based on total U.S. streaming and the top 40 songs of the week based on U.S. pop radio airplay.
For yet another week, BTS's 'Dynamite' dominated the song sales chart, scoring 26,800 pure sales in the tracking week ending March 18. Bruno Mars's 'Leave the Door Open' remained in the second spot with 21,400 sales - down from last week's 27,100, while Cardi B's 'Up' surged to third, nearly doubling to 18,400 (vs. 9,400). Dua Lipa saw a strong post-Grammys rise with 'Levitating' scoring 12,100 sales, up from 6,000, and 'Don't Start Now' returning to the chart at 11,900. After a strong opening last week - all opening in the top 5 - Drake's three new songs fell hard in their second weeks with 'What's Next' at 4,200 (from 18,700), 'Wants and Needs' at 3,300 (vs. 16,600), and 'Lemon Pepper Freestyle' at 2,400 (vs. 15,300). Programs of note below the top 25 include Kali Uchis's 'Telapatia' (2,100), Justin Bieber's 'Hold On' (2,000), Ariana Grande's '34+35' (1,500), Lil TJay's 'Calling My Phone' (1,400), and SZA's 'Good Days' (1,300). Note: this list only includes songs that had over $37.33K revenue for the week; a song with less than $37.33K in revenue could theoretically have more sales than the 25th ranked song on this list and it would not appear here.

Olivia Rodrigo's 'Drivers License' has now spent four consecutive weeks atop the weekly pop radio airplay chart with over 17,200 plays in the tracking week ending March 21st. This was on par with last week's numbers, down only 93 plays, and the gap between it and second-ranked 'Therefore I Am' is large enough where 'License' will most assuredly spent at least another week or two atop the chart. As was expected, 'Therefore I Am' from Billie Eilish rose to second this week, up 543 plays to a new peak of 15,418 while Ariana Grande's '34+35' dipped to third, down ~800 plays to ~14,400. As both '34+35' and 'Positions' (13,452) slowly fall out of the top of the chart, other songs making a play for number 1 include Ritt Momney's 'Put Your Records On' which was up ~1,000 plays from last week to take 5th place, and Tate McRae's 'You Broke Me First' which was up ~600 for 6th. Bruno Mars's 'Leave the Door Open' had the most-increased plays, rising over 2,200 to 5,494 which provided it a strong margin over the second-most-increased song, Maroon 5's 'Beautiful Mistakes' which was up 1,324 to 5,360.
