TV Ratings: Sunday August 2, 2020

ABC's coverage of 'NBA Basketball' between the Bucks & Rockets led the Sunday broadcast ratings with a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.7 in 18-34, and 2.44 million viewers. Leading the night in total viewership was CBS's '60 Minutes' (7.13 million) which also ranked second among primetime programs among adults 18-49 (0.6). The other two originals on the night were the two CW programs 'Fridge Wars' (0.1, 398,000) and 'Taskmaster' (0.1, 212,000).

On the cable side, TLC's '90 Day Fiance' led among adults 18-49 (0.93 rating), women of that demo (1.24), adults 18-34 (0.71), and females 12-34 (0.81). Lead-outs 'Smothered' and 'Pillow Talk' also pulled decent numbers among W18-49 (0.52 & 0.47) and F12-34 (0.31 & 0.29).

Paramount's 'Yellowstone' continued to show remarkable stability, tying its numbers from last week in the demo (0.73) and leading the day in men 18-49 (0.81). The simulcast on CMT was at 0.14 in the demo with 0.12 in M18-49. Summed together, the show averaged a 0.87 in the demo, a 0.93 in M18-49, a 0.79 in W18-49, and 4.25 million.

On Bravo, 'Real Housewives of Potomac' was at 0.44 in W18-49 with 1.06 million viewers, and on ESPN, a Celtics/Yankees game led the day in M12-34 (0.43) and logged 1.91 million viewers.

Also of note, HBO had a really good night as 'Perry Mason' hit above 1 million viewers for the first time in its run (1.04 million) and 'I'll Be Gone in the Dark' its highest viewership yet (523,000). Also hitting series-highs on the night was Starz's 'P-Valley' which saw its best 18-49 score (0.11) and viewership (260,000).

Elsewhere in scripted content was two episodes of TNT's 'The Alienist' (1.13 million & 827,000), AMC's 'NOS4A2' (360,000), and  Showtime's 'The Chi' (415,000) & 'Outcry' (139,000).
