Copper (BBC America): Ratings Recap

'Copper' premiered August 19, 2012 on BBC America to a 0.36 A18-49 rating and 1.11 million viewers - strong numbers for that network. It hovered just below 1 million viewers and above a 0.2 rating for the next few episodes before dropping to 0.15 with 523,000 viewers for its first season finale. It was renewed for a second season which premiered in 2013 to a 0.13 rating with 510,000 viewers and continued falling - hitting a series-low 0.06 in the demo and 350,000 viewers near the end of the season. The second season averaged just a 0.09 rating and 414,000 viewers (down from 0.21/692K for season 1) which was not enough to warrant a third season. The show aired a total of 23 episodes over the course of its 2 seasons.
