Canadian Ratings: Week of 9/25 - 10/1/2017

Ratings highlights from the week of September 25, 2017 - October 1, 2017 in Canada:

On Monday, CTV's 'The Big Bang Theory' began its 11th season with 3.85 million viewers across Canada, a rise from the season 10 finale back in May, which had 3.7 million. 'Young Sheldon' premiered with 3.56 million viewers, 'Me Myself & I' had 1.45 million, and 'The Good Doctor' did 2.61 million. On Global, 'The Brave' premiered to 1.24 million, and 'NCIS: New Orleans' had 1.12M. On CBC, 'Murdoch Mysteries' ('The Artful Detective in the United States) did 1.21 million

On Tuesday, Global's 'NCIS' was the highest rated program across Canada with 1.95M tuning in for the season premiere, a pretty big drop from the season 14 finale (2.23M), and 'Bull' was second with 1.89 million. On CTV, 'This Is Us' returned to 1.62 million viewers (down from 1.7M for the season 1 finale), and 'The Voice' barely made the top 30 with 1.08M. 

On Wednesday, Global's 'Survivor' topped the night with 2.24 million viewers, closely followed by the series premiere of 'Seal Team' which did 2.14M. The network's other entry, 'Chicago PD' did 1.22M. On CTV, 'Designated Survivor' returned to 1.78M, 'Criminal Minds' did 1.44M (down from 1.54M), and 'Law & Order: SVU' had 1.25M. 

On Thursday, only 3 shows made the top 30. On Global, the reboot of 'Will and Grace' started with 1.71 million viewers, and 'Chicago Fire' began the season with 1.41M. CTV's 'Grey's Anatomy' retuned up at 1.88 million (from 1.68M in May).

On Friday, Global's 'Hawaii Five-0' led with 1.6 million (up from 1.38M), and 'MacGyver' started its second season with 1.37M. On CTV, 'Blue Bloods' did 1.55 million, and 'Marvel's Inhumans' notched 1.08M. 

Over the weekend, 'Saturday Night Live' premiered to 1.14 million. On Sunday, 'NCIS: LA' did 1.47M on Global and 'Lucifer' did 1.21M on CTV. The third episode of 'Star Trek: Discovery' pulled in 1.44 million on Space+.
