On ABC, 'Desperate Housewives' led the week in the key demo, averaging a 12.3 rating (15.94 million) with 28.36 million total viewers. On the cable side, ESPN's 'Monday Night Football' led the week, notching 9.75 million viewers. On the scripted side, the season three premiere of FX's 'Nip/Tuck' brought in 5.29 million viewers, slightly up from the 5.22 million viewers who saw the second season finale back in October 2004. On HBO, the season premiere of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' brought in 1.55 million viewers, down almost 2 million viewers from its fourth season finale (3.36 million) when it was airing behind 'The Sopranos.' Finally, week five of 'Rome' managed 2.29 million viewers, down from 2.53 million last week.
